Abstract

The PTBA UPO Employee Cooperative is a cooperative specifically designed for PTBA UPO employees, including both active and inactive employees. To facilitate the decision-making process regarding the priority loan recipients from the PTBA UPO cooperative, a system is needed to help make decisions more quickly, effectively, and efficiently. A decision support system is a method that aims to assist individuals or companies in making accurate, fast, and precise decisions. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is a decision-making method that uses weighted summation. Several criteria have been established to determine the granting of loans at the PTBA UPO Cooperative, including membership status, needs, loan order, income amount, and previous loan balance. Members of the PTBA UPO cooperative who meet the predetermined criteria and have a preference final score become the priority loan recipients. This decision support system makes it easier for Savings and Loans Managers and PMs (Assistant Managers) to quickly determine which members have the highest priority in receiving loans.

Abstract

The aim of the Educational Play Tool (EPT) is to assist children in learning by stimulating their cognitive and motor development, as well as instilling a sense of fun and instructional value. However, many schools lack focus or appreciation for this, resulting in classroom learning processes that solely rely on repetitive exercises without utilizing educational games. The purpose of the research conducted at Taman Kanak-Kanak Bunga Bangsa Aceh Besar is to create an educational play tool made from octopus-shaped material that can help in the learning process. The ADDIE approach, which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, was used in designing the EPT octopus-shaped pouch. The research findings indicate that this educational play tool in the form of an octopus pouch falls under the category of being suitable for developing fine motor skills. With a valid categorization, the feasibility findings from media expert lecturers amounted to 80%, and from subject matter expert lecturers amounted to 80%. The validation conducted by teachers resulted in a material proportion of 80% and media proportion of 90%. After implementation, the average score of the educational game tool, the octopus-shaped pouch, was 81.25%, classified as significantly excellent development (SED). Therefore, it is evident that the EPT octopus-shaped pouch is suitable for use in the education process.

Abstract

Learning media is important in supporting an effective and interactive learning process. In the current digital era, the use of Android-based technology as a learning tool has become a major concern in improving the quality of education. This article discusses the application of Android-based learning media in the Mechanical Elements course. This research investigates the readiness and need for using Android-based Aqidah learning media. This study used a survey method with semester II student subjects from the Automotive Technology Vocational Education Study Program at Lancang Kuning University. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire, and the results were analyzed descriptively. The research results show several important things. First, all students (100%) feel interested in Android-based learning media. Second, after understanding the use of Android learning media, around 87.6% of students acknowledged the need for this media in learning. Third, applying Aydin and Tasci's ELR model shows that readiness to use Android learning media is included in the Ready category. However, several factors need to be improved slightly. The average ELR value is 3.73, exceeding the threshold of 3.4, indicating readiness. However, it should be noted that the Self-Improvement aspect has a low ELR value, namely 3.24, indicating the need for improvement. Based on these findings,

Abstract

This research focuses on developing a security key control device using RFID and a keypad with a prototyping design method. The goal is to enhance the convenience and security of managing security keys quickly and effectively. The system requires the correct recognition of RFID tags and the entry of the correct password before granting access to the security keys. Stringent security measures are in place, preventing access when incorrect RFID tags or passwords are detected. The prototype device comprises an Arduino UNO as the main controller, a keypad, RFID technology, an LCD, and a servo as the actuator. The prototyping design method enables us to iteratively design, test, and refine the system over time. The design process involves initial requirement identification, analysis, hardware and software design, prototype device fabrication, and testing. The prototyping approach facilitates design adjustments throughout the development process. This research demonstrates that prototyping can significantly contribute to security key management using RFID and a keypad, emphasizing the importance of the prototyping method in effective system design.

Abstract

Vocational education makes students individuals who have competitive abilities and skills by mastering their competencies, but what is found is that students are less able to process the information they receive well, so they only receive it passively, are unable to understand the material independently, and lack the skills to motivate themselves in the field of literacy. The article discusses how PjBL is utilized to enhance student achievement in the field of computer accounting. This study used the classroom action research approach and involved four phases: planning, carrying out the actions, observing, and reflecting on the results. This study occurred in two rounds, with each round comprising two gatherings. This research focused on a group of 32 individuals who were students in class XII, AKL 4. During the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023, a study was carried out on the topic of computer accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Solok. In this research, it was found that prior to administering the intervention, the mean score indicating participants' learning outcome was 71.85, while the completion rate stood at 48.48%. In the initial round, the mean score achieved was 80.27, and approximately 69.70% of the participants passed. During the second phase, the average student learning score rose to 85.61, and the percentage score reached 78.79. Based on the data collected, it can be inferred that the use of the PjBL approach has proven to be highly effective in enhancing students' academic performance.
