Abstract

In the midst of the current situation in progress in all fields. The field of preaching the faith. also need to race and develop. A preacher of faith becomes salt and light as a sign of testimony to God's presence, especially in the midst of the times. Spiritual education is needed in such a way that shapes the personality of the reporter who influences the expression of his life of faith, especially in the multicultural society in Indonesia. In this study the author makes a study based on historical research, in the discussion the author explores from the history books of spiritual education by paying attention to the history of spirituality, spiritual figures, Church teachings on spirituality, about proclaiming faith, Christian education. knowing the challenges of spirituality education for prospective Catholic religious teachers, (2) The influence of spirituality education on the expression of life of faith, especially in the midst of multicultural society in Indonesia. This expression of faith is seen in individuals who enjoy prayer, individuals who want to renew their steps (repent), attitudes optimistic, trusting, courageous, independent (life attitude of a believer), steady, especially when facing temptations that go against the values ​​of his faith, able to be faithful, tough, not easy to follow negative currents, expression of love, patience, generosity, fear of Allah , prostrate to piety, missionary, cooperate and dialogue. The results found in this study spirituality education need to pay attention to several things An important aspect of the reporter's personality is related to the openness of the heart which is the center of the encounter with God, the area of ​​​​the mind, feelings and desires. In order to have an influence on the expression of life of faith, a person has intimacy with God, has inner freedom, is open to the work of the Holy Spirit in him, responds to said Allah. To achieve that, there were several ways that were found, namely related to increasing enthusiasm and skills in prayer, doing reflection and introspection activities. Gaining experience from holy figures and having dialogue with others, Knowing how to read and meditate on the scriptures.

Abstract

The world of education in the era of disruption no longer makes teachers and students the only source of knowledge. The era of digitalization will have an impact on students' wrong steps if they are not accompanied by teachers and parents. In the era of disruption, everything can happen very quickly with work leaps that are no longer linear. The purpose of this work is to describe how to position students to build character in entering the era of disruption in absorbing knowledge. The focus of the discussion includes the conditions and tendencies of students in the era of disruption, character education with levels through social networks, learning media for character education in the era of disruption, and synergies in controlling student work patterns. The condition of students in this era of disruption is creative in finding information, as well as the tendency to like news, whether it's true or not, and going viral. Student assistance in the era of disruption is carried out by utilizing social networks. Social networks provide opportunities, space, and movement in facilitating student work on independent and group assignments. The results of the assignment are manifested in the form of reports, presentations, and others as a form of controlled character strengthening development. Character education learning is carried out in a tiered focus so that changes in student behavior will appear in their daily lives. Cooperation in completing tasks is a strength. This situation is able to increase innovation and can synergize. Control of changes in student behavior can be done after carrying out certain tasks / jobs. Thus the form of assistance above is used as an instrument of evaluation and control.

Abstract

The development of the era that demands fast-paced actions today has an effect on all human activities. This influence also causes the method of cremation of corpses at the Tanah Mas Church of the Sacred Heart to be increasingly known and used in today's funerals, as an alternative to the old method of burying the bodies in the ground. The purpose of this study is to describe the problems that occur between agreeing to cremation and those who still maintain the old way by burying the bodies into the ground, these problems are understood in the light of the Catholic faith at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Tanah Mas Semarang. The study was conducted on 32 people consisting of members of the Church Council, Prodiacon, Head of the Environment, Elderly, Head of Liturgy, Diakonia, Koikonia and Catechists at the Tanah Mas Church of the Sacred Heart, Semarang. The variables of this study include those who are cremated, buried in the ground, carried out because of traditions or customs that apply among the families, or people have other reasons. Data obtained by questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained were processed with the Validator's assessment criteria sorted into a rating scale. Interview data were processed with descriptive statistics, which can describe the situation of the people's choice in general. The results showed that cremation has become a common practice in funerals at the Hati Kudus Tanah Mas Catholic Church, Semarang with 59% of respondents saying they agree and as many as 84% of respondents admit that nowadays cremation is more practical and economical as a method of burial of corpses. Meanwhile, the results of other questionnaires regarding cremation show that knowledge of the faith of the people regarding the resurrection of the body at the end of time is 84% ​​of respondents saying it has no effect.

Abstract

Lingkungan hidup yang ditata secara rapi dan teratur sangat mendukung keberlangsungan kegiatan perkuliahan. STPKat sebagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi dinilai kurang memperhatikan penataan lingkungan hidup dengan baik, sehingga kurang tersedia lingkungan hijau, kurang adanya sirkulasi udara yang baik, masih adanya sampah-sampah di kelas, dan masih digunakannya kapur dalam setiap ruang kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh penataan lingkungan hidup terhadap kualitas perkuliahan di STPKat St. Fransiskus Asissi Semarang. Fokus penelitian ini adalah persepsi mahasiswa pada kualitas perkuliaan pada kondisi lingkungan hidup di kampus. Data diambil dengan melakukan dengan angket pada mahasiswa dengan populasi 70 orang, dilengkapi dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Data diolah dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa 76% mahasiswa menyatakan STPKat telah memiliki penerangan yang baik di ruang kelas, 81% menyatakan bahwa suka kalau mahasiswa tidak merokok, 64% menyatakan STPKat memiliki lingkungan hidup dan tanaman hias yang memadai, 57% menyatakan STPKat belum memiliki ahli tata taman dan tata taman belum dilakukan secara efisien serta belum lengkapnya alat-alat tata taman, 67% menyatakan bahwa kurang adanya tanaman perindang di sepanjang ruangan kelas, 77% menyatakan kurangnya ventilasi udara sehingga kelas yang terletak di lantai dua menjadi terlihat panas dan gersang, Berdasar hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa merasa kurang nyaman dengan kondisi lingkungan hidup yang kurang hijau, dan panas serta banyaknya nyamuk. Selanjutnya berdasar observasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa gedung STPKat yang terletak di lantai dua dirasa kurang ditata secara efisien dan efektif untuk mengatasi sempitnya lahan dan panasnya. Berdasar hasil penelitian tersebut di atas maka direkomendasikan bahwa untuk menambah kualitas perkuliahan di STPKat perlu penataan lingkungan yang membawa konsekuensi bahwa STPKat hendaknya menambah adanya pegawai tata taman yang dilengkapi fasilitas alat-alat pertamanan untuk membuat lahan yang panas dan sempit menjadi nyaman dan sejuk atau hijau, begitu pula penggunaan kapur diganti dengan white board.

Abstract

The main focus of this article is criticizing the role of today’s belief and religion in the context of human relationship. Belief and religion sociologically were people’s creations to perform the influence of such a supernatural power and domination over human’s life. Over centuries, religious beliefs and people’s convictions have inspired and illuminated many people of any civilizations to pursue or gain some values, ideas and truth through their special way of living by creating laws, rules, scriptures and any traditions specified to them. At the same time, world’s history have clearly noted the two paradoxal sides of belief and religion. In one side, belief and religion offer values, ideas, laws and norms to order human’s life to have a good religious life. But in the other side, they showed a long story of cruelties, wars, bloodshed and any radical movements on behalf of any religions or religious sects. This writing is meant to describe more obviously these “two opposite faces” of belief and religion and gave an offer to readers to make a self reflection and then take a proper and objective way of thinking by regarding to some tragic events like WTC tragedy in US seventeen years ago (2001) or to any other like event that happened surround us recently. Conclusively, we might see that for men or women, religion and belief could stand in any way as a “problem solving” or “problem sourcing”. They were hoped and suggested to offer or create peacefullness, charity and well being conditions, but in any way they become also a source or ignition of wars, cruelties and social revolution that seemed to have no end until now.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang diintegrasikan dengan model pengembangan Luther. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SD di wilayah Kendal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang berfokus ada tiga hal yaitu kevalidan, diperoleh melalui validasi oleh validator; keefektifan, diperoleh melalui hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran; kepraktisan, diperoleh dari instrumen penilaian oleh validator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kevalidan yaitu 0.92. prosedur penggunaan media Pembelajaran happy body sudah sangat baik dengan rata-rata total skor sebesar 3,66. Implementasi media happy bodi terhadap Siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 28 siswa atau 93%.

Abstract

The People of God of the Archdiocese of Semarang (KAS) as a community of believers under the guidance of the Holy Spirit are determined and work together to fight for the realization of a civilization of love in Indonesia. The civilization of love is characterized by a shared life based on a mindset, attitude pattern and behavior pattern that is directed towards a prosperous, dignified and faithful life. To realize these ideals, all parties are involved through improving life intelligent, tough, missionary and dialogical believers; personal development, family, environment and groups to play a role in society fighting for fair public policies, prioritizing the weak, small, marginalized and disabled, democratic, involving everyone to build society without being divided by religion, class, ethnicity, group and personal interests; improve charitable and empowerment services for the realization of welfare, especially basic needs; encourage lay people and activists to get involved in social, cultural, economic, political, environmental conservation movements that have a positive impact on society; assisting young cadres to become agents of change in the Church and Society.These efforts are based on an inclusive, innovative and transformative spirit. It is impossible for the church to work alone to create a civilization of love. Therefore, it must cooperate with all members of the community, always looking for ways and forms to increase the power of change in every action. The Semarang Archdiocese's Pastoral Work Council, through its commissions, endeavors to compile, implement, evaluate its work program so that it is directed at the realization of a civilization of love by involving community activists at the vicars and parish levels. It is hoped that this joint movement will result in significant progress in the Semarang Archdiocese Church becoming an inclusive, innovative and transformative Church for the civilization of love in Indonesian society. The church becomes Lumen Gentium (light of the nation) in the movement to realize prosperity, dignity and faith.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam bisa dikategorikan sebagai lembaga industri mulia (noble industri) karena mengemban misi ganda, yaitu profit sakaligus sosial. Misi profit, yaitu untuk mencapai keuntungan, ini dapat dicapai ketika efisiensi dan efektivitas dana bisa tercapai, sehingga pemasukan (income) lebih besar dari biaya operasional. Oleh karena itu guru dituntut untuk lebih kreatif, selektif dan proaktif dalam mengakomodir kebutuhan siswa guru juga lebih peka terhadap karakteristik maupun psikis siswa. Beberapa usaha yang dapat dilakukan guru dalam rangka menciptakan kondisi yang efektif dan kondusif adalah kecekataan dalam memilih sebuah metode dengan pendekatan emosional dan psikologis siswa untuk itu seorang guru bukan hanya dituntut untuk bisa menguasai teknik pengelolahan kelas, keterampilan, mengajar, pemanfaatan sumber belajar, penguasaan emosional siswa, penguasaan kondisi kelas dan sebagainya. Inquiry merupakan teknik yang mempersiapkan peserta didik pada situasi untuk melakukan eksperimen sendiri secara luas agar melihat apa yang terjadi, ingin melakukan sesuatu, mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan dan mencari jawabannya sendiri, serta -menghubungkan penemuan yang lain, membandingkan apa yang ditemukannya dengan yang ditemukan peserta didik lainnya. inquiry sebagai teknik pengajaran mengandung arti bahwa dalam proses kegiatan mengajar berlangsung harus dapat mendorong dan dapat memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam belajar. Untuk mengatasi kesulitan ini dapat diketahui dengan jalan mengembangkan keimanan berbasis inquiri berbasis kontestual. Melalui pendekatan ini, peserta didik diajak untuk mengamati dan mengkaji peristiwa-peristiwa kehidupan sebagai laboratorium (Pendidikan Agama Islam).

Abstract

Pancasila is a format of values ​​that become a reference in viewing and managing life with the Indonesian people. The founders of the nation explored the values ​​of Pancasila from the daily life of the nation that existed in the archipelago before the establishment of the modern Indonesian state. because the values ​​that exist in Pancasila are also found in the existing value system of religions and cultures of the people of the archipelago, therefore Pancasila is a meeting point between all differences. Religious education in each religion is unique, as is the uniqueness of each religion in relation to religious institutions, social and political institutions. Religions also have their own histories which then shape the uniqueness of the teaching format. However, there are things that are more or less the same, in all types of religious education, which can then be called the values ​​of the common good that exist in all religions. These values ​​of the common good, as well as Pancasila, are the meeting point in all religious education. Pancasila in religious education is very important to be articulated, because all religious people will live in the same public space in many situations and conditions. Religious education builds self-awareness of the people and their relationship with God in accordance with the construction of knowledge and various expressions of faith. Dogmatically formulated claims of sanctity and salvation often leave little room for tolerance of doctrinal differences. In dogmatic reasoning, it is as if the public sphere will be privatized or adapted to the relevant teachings. This is where intolerance becomes a potential that exists in all religious dogmas. However it differs in the aspect of values, which lead to reflection and awareness that is open to life, the wisdom of tolerance which is very useful for building a common life. The problem is how the implementation of Pancasila in religious education will be carried out? First of all, there is a dialogue on how to view the relationship between religion and Pancasila. Closed dogmatic thinking needs to be criticized by reflecting on the values ​​and history of religious thought need to be seen critically in the context of space and time. So in favor of values humanity becomes a way of dialogue with life and the manifestation of faith that answers life's challenges. Placing Pancasila in religious education means using a humanist-religious educational framework, because from there human values ​​will be easily realized, dialogued and fostered creativity to build a community life that upholds peace and human dignity.
