Abstract

This article focuses on the application of the Point Counterpoint learning method to improve Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes in Self-Control material. This study aims to determine the extent to which student learning outcomes increase in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in the subject of Self-Control. To answer this question, this research uses the classroom action research method. Participants in this study were students of class X science high school in the city of Tanjung Pinang which was conducted for two months. The results of the data analysis showed that students who previously did not achieve KKM completeness in learning Islamic Religious Education on Self-Control material experienced a significant increase in learning outcomes after the action was taken, compared to before experiencing the action.

Abstract

This article is focused on discussing efforts to improve the ability to read Al-Qur'an Surah Al Mujdah/58:11 and Surah Ar Rahman/55:33 using the Iqra' method. This study aims to determine the extent to which the ability to read the Qur'an of seventh grade junior high school students in Islamic Religious Education lessons in the material of Surah Al Mujdah/58:11 and Surah Ar Rahman/55:33 is increased. To answer these problems, the research conducted is classroom action research. The results of the data analysis showed that students who had not yet completed learning to read the Qur'an experienced a significant increase after the action was taken. This is due to the use of the Iqro 'method consisting of six volumes starting from a simple level, step by step to a perfect level. So that students are able to improve their ability to read the Qur'an well.

Abstract

This article was conducted with the aim of knowing the motivation and learning outcomes of students through the use of film media (Direct Photography) in class VII SMP. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class IX SMP, amounting to 33 people. The research was conducted in 2 cycles. The results showed that the use of Media Film (Direct Photography) accompanied by a cooperative learning model in learning the procedures for Hajj and Umrah in class IX SMP was proven to significantly increase student motivation and learning outcomes. So that it can be used for the learning process in the future.

Abstract

This article is focused on increasing student interest and learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education by using the Card Sort method. This research was conducted to determine the extent to which the card sort method can increase student interest and learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. To answer this question, the study in this research used classroom action research. Participants in this study were students of class VII junior high school in Singkep Regency. The results of the data analysis showed that students who took action using the card sort method experienced an increase in their interest and learning outcomes compared to before the action was taken. So that the results of this study can contribute to the world of education in the future, especially Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Hadith is the main source of Islamic teachings after the Qur'an. Hadith or also called Sunnah is everything that originates or is based on the Prophet SAW, whether in the form of words, deeds, or his taqrir. Discussions related to Hadith Science are always interesting studies, therefore this article focuses on the classification of hadith in terms of the quantity and quality of the sanad. So that the quantity and quality of a hadith can be known from the point of view of the distribution of its sanad. This study uses literature review which is expected to contribute to understanding regarding the classification of hadith. From the results of data analysis, the division of hadith is necessary in an effort to classify hadith, in terms of quantity the distribution of hadith aims to find out the number of narrators at each level so that classifications of muwatitir hadith, ahad hadith, famous hadith, hadith 'aziz and gharib hadith emerge. Meanwhile, in terms of quality, it aims to determine the authenticity of the hadith in terms of its shahih, hasan and daif.

Abstract

This article focuses on the discussion of increasing student learning interest in the subject of Islamic Religious Education subject matter of the content of Surat Al Kaafiruun at the elementary school level in Bintan Regency. This study aims to determine the extent to which the Jigsaw cooperative learning model can increase students' interest in learning which in turn will improve their learning outcomes. To answer this question, this study used classroom action research with participants from class VI students. This research lasted for three months where researchers used three cycles in class action. The results of the data analysis showed that students experienced positive changes from before the action was taken. There was a significant increase in learning interest and learning outcomes after the action was taken. This study contributes to the PAI learning process in the future.

Abstract

Seeing the low interest in student learning in the subject of Islamic Religious Education, which is caused by a lack of understanding of a material produced from learning delivered by the teacher is generally caused by the delivery of material using only lecture and rote methods, the lack of use of learning methods and the lack of supporting infrastructure learning and teaching activities. Therefore this paper aims to determine the level of student interest in Islamic education subjects. So the focus of this paper is what efforts are being made to find out students' interest in learning in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Bintan. To answer this question, this paper uses action research. From the analysis of the data obtained, it shows that there was a significant increase in student learning interest after using the index card match learning method in Islamic Religious Education subjects compared to before the action was held. This shows that efforts to increase students' interest in learning by using the index card match method have proven effective in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 9 Bintan.

Abstract

This article is focused on improving student learning outcomes on the law of reading qalqalah and ra with the methods of playing, discussing and reciting. This study aims to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of the BBM method can improve student learning outcomes in the material for reading qalqalah and ra. To answer this question, this study uses action research. The research participants were students of class VII in junior high school. The ability to read the Qur'an should be possessed by every student. Students must have the ability to recite the words of Allah SWT. In reading the Qur'an, it must be in accordance with its makhraj. Therefore an understanding of the science of recitation must be mastered by every student so that in reading the Qur'an one can avoid mispronunciation. The data analysis shows that students have low learning outcomes before the action is taken but shows a significant increase in learning outcomes after experiencing the action. This study can make a positive contribution to PAI teachers in the future.

Abstract

The low level of discipline among students is a problem that can hinder the learning process. One of the efforts to instill discipline is through the habit of performing congregational prayers. The purpose of this study is to determine how to instill discipline among students through the habit of congregational prayers. The methodology used in this research is qualitative research. Several steps that can be taken to instill discipline through congregational prayers include: 1) Providing clear understanding; 2) Setting a good example; 3) Inviting students gently; 4) Scheduling congregational prayer times; 5) Providing praise and rewards; 6) Guidance and supervision; 7) Evaluation and improvement. In order for the efforts to instill discipline through congregational prayers to be effective, it is necessary to establish good habits both at home and at school. Establishing habits at school certainly requires a special schedule and optimal guidance from teachers and all school members.

Abstract

This article focuses on the application of the Card Sort method to Islamic Religious Education subjects on Halal Food and Beverage Consumption. Subjects of Islamic Religious Education with the basic competencies of halal food and drink and staying away from haram are included in the moral aspect. Seeing the phenomenon of today's children is very concerning because there are some students who ignore Islamic religious law in choosing food and drink, so that in understanding the material of halal food and drink and staying away from what is haram is not optimal. So that the impact on decreased student achievement. By utilizing the card sort method, data is obtained that student achievement shows a significant increase, which is indicated by an increase in student learning completeness.
