Abstract

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study was to develop learning media in the form of bilingual digital books on Physics learning materials on the subject of Newton's laws that meet the good criteria. Methodology: This research is a development research using mixed research methods with sequential exploratory design where the data obtained in this study are qualitative data supported by quantitative data. Sources of research data include material experts (content feasibility, language and images, presentation, and graphics), high school physics teachers as reviewers, and students who study making learning media as peer reviewers. Data analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative and quantitative analysis. Main Findings: Physics learning media in the form of digital books arranged according to the rules of writing modules on Newton's Law material and its application to State High Schools that have been developed, from all aspects meeting the very good criteria as many as 27 students out of 30 students. Then on good criteria as many as 3 students out of 30 students based on a questionnaire compiled according to the characteristics of the module according to the Ministry of National Education in 2008. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that learning media have been developed in the form of digital books which are arranged according to the rules of writing modules on Newton's Law material and its application for class X high school with the manufacturing procedure using CorelDRAW X4 software in its manufacture.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop learning media in the form of electronic books with the subject matter of Dynamic Electricity for class X SMA semester II that meet the good criteria. Methodology: This development research uses research and development methods. The development model used in this study is a procedural model, namely a descriptive model that shows the steps that must be followed to produce a product in the form of learning media. Data obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Main Findings: Based on data analysis in this study, it was concluded that the results of the development of electronic book media obtained very good criteria in terms of material and media aspects. Novelty/Originality of this study: Making and presenting electronic books as learning media in the form of digital media is done using the Corel Draw X4 and Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro 3.6.5 programs and then saving them in the .exe format.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop interactive geography learning multimedia on appropriate and effective geography research step material. The product produced is in the form of interactive learning multimedia that can be used as a learning medium as well as a learning resource for students for material on geographic research steps. Methodology: This research is a development research (R & D) with a comparative descriptive analysis technique. sampling technique Simple Random Sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and tests. The trials carried out consisted of small group trials and field trials. Main Findings: The results obtained show that: (1) The development which was carried out using the development model of Walter Dick and Lou Carrey was developed using a combination of simulation models and drills based on Adobe Flash; (2) Interactive multimedia based on Adobe Flash is proven to be appropriate for use as a learning medium for class X senior high school "Geographical Research Steps" material in the 2013 curriculum. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that it produces learning media that are suitable for use.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze the needs of students and teachers for the development of e-learning media with the Adobe Flash program, develop e-learning media with the Adobe Flash program, determine the feasibility of e-learning media with the Adobe Flash program. Methodology: The research method used is the research and development (R&D) method developed by Dick and Carey. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out using validation sheets from media experts, material experts, educators, student trial questionnaires, observation, posttest, and documentation. Main Findings: The results of this study are needs analysis based on dominant results includes visual learning characteristics, experience of using media with frequent categories, agreeing responses with media development, green visualization, and Comic Sans MS font type. Development of research products in the form of e-learning media with the Adobe Flash program equipped with pictures, maps, videos and animations used to support contextual learning models. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that the results of this study can provide convenience for independent learning through the media and make it easier to implement material on real problems in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop an Android-based visual novel game using material from the history of Indonesian independence and to determine the level of feasibility by going through a feasibility test on the Visual Novel Game application of the History of Indonesian Independence. Methodology: This research is research and development type. Research and development is research with the aim of conducting research and innovating in making a product. System development in this study uses the Evolutionary Prototype method. With this method, the prototype can be continuously developed until the prototype fulfills the functions and procedures required by the system. Main Findings: The results showed that the use of renpy as an engine facilitated the process of making the Visual Novel Independence Game application. Then, the independence game application is good and can be said to be appropriate as a learning medium. From the feasibility test summary, the feasibility percentage of the Visual Novel Merdeka game has an average of 76.6%. This percentage is categorized as having good eligibility. In terms of the material for the independence game application, it is also in accordance with the needs of teaching materials for grade 11 high school or vocational school. Novelty/Originality of this study: This application is light, easy to understand and has a small size so that it will make it easier to use.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to develop a linear momentum collision practical tool with a microcontroller so that the results obtained are more accurate, the time used is more efficient and the experiments carried out are more varied. Methodology:This research is R & D research with development procedures, namely the potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, design validation, product design revision, product testing, final product. The subjects in this research were 2 media expert lecturers, 2 material expert lecturers, 20 pre-research students, 4 limited test students and 38 broad test students. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative . Main Findings: The results of research on the development of linear momentum collision practical equipment with a microcontroller obtained a value from material expert tests of 3.8 with an ideal percentage of 94%, from media expert tests of 3.91 with an ideal percentage of 97.5%, from limited field tests of 3.93 with an ideal percentage of 78.75% and from tests The wide field is 3.85 with an ideal percentage of 77%. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is the development of a linear momentum collision practical tool whose instrument part is for measuring the speed of objects determined using an ATmega 16 microcontroller and an ultrasonic sensor as a distance sensor. This learning media can be useful in improving the physics learning process to be more meaningful

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to produce a product in the form of an inquiry-based science module for class IV elementary school and to determine students' responses to the feasibility of an inquiry-based science module on plant parts and their functions. Methodology: This type of research uses the R & D (Research and Development) development method. The data collection technique in this research is using observation sheets, interview sheets, and questionnaires. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics. Qualitative data will be analyzed logically and meaningfully, while quantitative data will be analyzed using average calculations. Main Findings: The main result of this research is that a module is obtained that is suitable for use as teaching material in class IV elementary schools on science learning material regarding plants and their functions. This is demonstrated based on the assessment of material experts, media experts and teachers with the ideality of the material being explained in detail accompanied by illustrations or picture descriptions, the material is also explained using an inquiry approach, and the module contains information that increases students' knowledge. This is confirmed by the average assessment percentage of 87.9% for material experts, 84.1% for media experts, and 84.9% for teachers. Novelty/Originality of this study: Then the novelty of this research lies not only in conveying knowledge about plant parts and their functions but also in fostering a deep curiosity and appreciation of nature through an interactive, inquiry-based learning approach.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to develop a simple Stirling engine teaching aid for the class XI thermodynamics subject at high school and determine students' responses to the teaching aid developed. Methodology: The research method used is research and development (R&D) ADDIE model, namely with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The instruments used in this research were media expert validation questionnaires, material expert validation, small group trials and field trials with a Likert scale. The data obtained was then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The test subjects in this research were carried out using small group trials of 10 students and field trials of 30 students from three schools. Main Findings: Based on the results of the material expert validation analysis and media expert validation, an average of 86.5% was obtained which could be categorized as very good, then for small group trials it was obtained 91.9% and 93.1% of field trials could be categorized as very good, so that the media for simple Stirling engine teaching aids were has been developed as a whole very well to be used as a teaching aid in learning in class XI High School. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of developing a simple Stirling engine demonstration tool for the study of thermodynamics lies in its innovative approach to making a complex subject accessible, engaging, and applicable to a wide range of learners, thereby fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the field.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to evaluate students' worksheets for building flat-sided spaces based on POE as a learning tool in improving students' mathematical representation abilities. This research also aims to determine student and teacher responses to the use of the student worksheets that were developed. Methodology: This research uses a 4D device development method which consists of four stages, namely the definition, design, development and dissemination stages. The development stage includes validation by material experts and media experts, revision, and testing of student responses. Data collection uses student response questionnaires using student worksheets to train students' mathematical representation skills. The subjects of this research were students in class VIII of junior high school. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. Main Findings: The validation results of material experts and media experts show that the student worksheets developed are quite valid. This research found that the POE-based flat-sided space construction student worksheet is suitable for use in improving students' mathematical representation abilities and getting positive responses from students and teachers. This research contributes to the development of innovative and effective learning tools in the context of mathematics learning. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of developing a POE-based student worksheet for students' mathematical representation abilities lies in its departure from traditional teaching methods, its emphasis on inquiry-based learning and higher-order thinking, and its adaptability to a variety of mathematical topics all contributing to a more dynamic and engaging educational experience

Abstract

Purpose of the study: To test the suitability of textured picture books equipped with crossword puzzles as a learning medium for Biology, epithelial tissue sub-material for class XI semester 1, it was assessed by experts and teachers and reviewed based on the effectiveness of its use. Methodology: This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4-D development model. The research samples involved were 18 test students and 16 control students. Qualitative data was obtained from advice from material experts and media experts, quantitative data from the results of assessments carried out by media experts, material experts, teachers and students Main Findings: Based on the assessment of media material experts, it has appropriate criteria (very good) with a percentage of 90.9%, the assessment according to media experts is included in the appropriate criteria (very good) with a percentage of 85.5% and the assessment according to teaching teachers is in the appropriate category (very good) with a percentage of 98.48%. The effectiveness of the media on student grades is in the quite effective category with an average test student score of 6.77 compared to an average control student score of 5.70. The media readability test after use in learning is in the very good category with a percentage of 86.1%. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in its innovative approach in presenting learning materials, expanding evaluation methods, and its potential to increase students' understanding and involvement in learning epithelial tissue topics.
