Abstract

Drug Abuse (Psychotropic Narcotics and Addictive Substances) in adolescents in Sumber Agung Village always has an increase every year, there are a number of things behind this abuse namely low levels of education, lack of knowledge, and peer influence. According to the Jember Narcotics Agency that the number of drug abuse in 2011 to 2012 the age category of 18-25 years is as many as 28 people and the prevalence continues to increase every year.The purpose of this study is to describe the factors of knowledge, family factors and peer factors that influence drug abuse among adolescents in Pakusari Village, Jember Regency.The research design used is descriptive approach. The population in this study were 30 respondents. The sample in this study was taken in total sampling with a sample of 30 teenagers. The research instrument was carried out by giving questionnaires to adolescents to describe the factors that influence drug abuse. The results of this study were analyzed using Frequency Distribution. The results of the Frequency Distribution Test indicate that the first factor influencing drug abuse among adolescents is the knowledge factor of adolescents (25.8%) good, knowledgeable (45.2%) sufficient and knowledgeable (25.8%) lacking. The second factor affecting drug abuse among adolescents is the family factor in adolescents (42.2%) yes and (51.6%) no. The third factor influencing drug abuse among adolescents is the peer factor in adolescents (80%) yes and (20%) no. So it can be concluded that the majority of adolescents who influence drug abuse are knowledgeable, lack of family factors and the presence of peers

Abstract

Nutritional status is a condition of balance between consumption and absorption of nutrients in the body. Nutritional status is important because one of the risk factors that cause death in children. Nutrition knowledge is one of the factors that influence children's food consumption. This study aims to analyze the Relationship between Mother's Knowledge of Nutrition and the Nutrition Status of Children 3 - 5 Years at Posyandu Wine Sumbersari, The design of this study is Cross Sectional. In this study there were 27 populations and a sample of 25 respondents with the technique of sampling using Simple Random Sampling. The results showed 60% of mothers had good knowledge and 76% of children had good nutritional status. from the results of the analysis test using the Spearman Rank of 95% (a = 0.05) pValue 0,000 <a (0.05). So in this study concluded, that the mother's knowledge about nutrition has a relationship with the nutritional status of children aged 3-5 years. This research suggests, whatever the level of education and occupation of the mother, the mother's knowledge of child nutrition problems needs to be improved to improve the nutritional status of children aged 3-5 years

Abstract

Elderly is someone who has entered the age of 60 years and over. Problems that often occur in the elderly one of which is stress. Stress is a universal phenomenon that occurs in everyday life and can not be avoided and will be experienced by everyone. Non-pharmacological action to deal with stress is to provide classical religious music therapy. This therapy is very easy to do and has no harmful side effects. Mozart effect is one of the terms for the effects that can be produced by a music that can improve one's intelligence. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of classical religious music therapy on stress levels in the elderly at UPT PSTW Kaisian Jember. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets and Standard Operating Procedures as a measurement tool. This therapy is carried out within 30 minutes for one day. The research method used was Quasi one group pre-test post-test design experiment. The population is 70 respondents and the sample is 41 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data analysis used Wilcoxon signed rank test with a 0.05 degree of error. The results obtained 0,000 <α which means that there is an influence of classical religious music therapy on stress levels in the elderly at UPT PSTW Kasian Jember, with data of 17.10% of the elderly experiencing moderate stress levels, 26.80% of the elderly experiencing mild stress levels, and 56, 10% of elderly experience normal stress. It is recommended in this study is to apply religious music therapy to reduce the occurrence of stress in the elderly

Abstract

Low Back Pain is a pain that often occurs in plantation workers, especially rubber tapping workers caused by unfavorable work activities. Efforts that can be done to treat low back pain are warm compresses. The purpose of this study was to identify differences in pain response before and after warm compresses were carried out on Gunung Porong plantation workers in Bondowoso Regency. This study uses the Quasy Experimental One group pretest-posttest design group. The population in this study were all rubber tapping workers in Gunung Tide plantations totaling 30 people. The sample in this study was taken by simple random sampling with a sample of 28 people. The results of the study were tested using paired sample t-test. It was found that before the warm compresses were performed, the respondent's pain was in the moderate pain category after the respondent's warm compress was done in the mild pain category. The results of the analysis showed that the value of p = 0,000 <α 0.01 showed that there were differences in the level of pain scale before and after warm compresses were performed, warm compresses can reduce LBP pain. It is expected that especially plantation workers, workers using alternative therapies to compress warm water to reduce LBP pain

Abstract

The elderly often experience high blood glucose levels and high blood pressure. Based on a preliminary study conducted with 30 elderly people at UPT PSTW Bondowoso (73%) elderly who have high blood pressure. One effort to control blood pressure is to control several factors that affect blood pressure, one of which is blood glucose levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between blood glucose levels and blood pressure in the elderly at UPT PSTW Bondowoso. Analytical survey research methods with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 60 elderly using probability sampling techniques with a simple random sampling approach. Data analysis used Pearson correlation and 95% confidence level (α ≤ 0.05) with a significance level of 0.00. The results showed that there was a relationship between blood glucose levels and blood pressure. The conclusion of this study is that when a person has high blood glucose levels, that person will tend to have high blood pressure and it can be concluded that there is a relationship between blood glucose levels and blood pressure in the elderly in UPT PSTW Bondowoso. It is recommended to the elderly to control blood glucose levels so that it does not negatively impact blood pressure, especially in the elderly

Abstract

The quality of nursing services is the result of the performance displayed by the nurse. The quality of nurse services is very important in increasing patient satisfaction by itself will foster the image of Puskesmas. The quality of nursing services provided will cause a reaction to the results of the services provided, if the services provided are in accordance with the wishes / desires of the patient it will lead to customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing services with the satisfaction of patients treated in the Mumbulsari Public Health Center in Jember. This type of research uses the type of correlation research. The population is inpatients at Mumbulsari Public Health Center in Jember and has certain characteristics totaling 45 people. The sample consisted of 40 people with sampling using purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection using the SERVQUAL scale questionnaire then the data were analyzed using the chi square statistical test with the results of p value = 0.02 <α = 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between the quality of nursing services with the satisfaction of patients treated in the Mumbulsari Public Health Center in Jember. The existence of a significant relationship between the quality of nursing services with significant patient satisfaction certainly shows that the services provided are in line with customer expectations / desires it will lead to customer satisfaction, but vice versa if the services provided are not in line with customer expectations / desires it will lead to customer dissatisfaction or customer complain

Abstract

Being in a room with a long time will lead to work boredom in nurses that can have an impact on performance degradation. Work rotation is carried out by the hospital management to reduce work boredom so that it can motivate nurses to show better performance. Nurse performance can be seen from how the implementation of nursing care. The success of service at the Hospital is influenced by nurse performance. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between work rotation length and the performance of nurses in the implementation of nursing care at the Bina Sehat Hospital in Jember held in May 2014. This research data is presented in a quantitative form using a correlational research design with a cross sectional approach. The number of research samples as many as 45 nurses. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Data collection uses questionnaires and observation sheets. Data is analyzed using the Spearman Rank Rank Correlation Coefficient Test. The results of this study were obtained P value 0.003 or P Value <0.05, this correlation was seen from the 3% error rate or 97% significance level. Great correlation or Spearman Rank correlation value 0.431 or 43.1% shows a positive correlation with sufficient correlation strength. The conclusion of this study is the longer the rotation time of work, the better the performance of nurses in the implementation of nursing care. Further research can use other variables that also affect the performance of nurses in addition to being seen from nursing care such as responsiveness, discipline, and workload

Abstract

Dementia is a clinical syndrome which includes loss of intellectual function and memory that is so severe that it causes dysfunction in daily life. On March 9, 2014 researchers conducted a preliminary study at Bondowoso Social Assistance Center (PSTW). There are 140 elderly who are registered as PSTW residents. From interviews with the institution, 42% of the 140 residents had dementia. . The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the level of dementia between before and after the implementation of brain exercise in the elderly in Bondowoso PSTW 2014. The research design used was a comparison using a one-group interpretation-posttest design approach. Primary data were collected using questionnaire sheets and secondary data by looking at the recapitulation of Bondowoso PSTW data, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study found that from sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 shows that the p value is less than 0.005 so this shows that there are differences in the level of dementia between before and after the exercise of brain exercise in the elderly in Bondowoso in 2014. It is recommended that padalansia in Bondowoso PSTW always routinely perform brain exercise activities regularly as taught

Abstract

Stick to the STIKES goals and mission dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency, it is natural that human resource management gets serious attention from the leadership of STIKES. Moreover, the human element is also the key to success in providing maximum service and satisfaction to the company and the society. This can be seen in policy programs relating to human resource management, STIKES employees, dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency. The placement aspect of employees in filling positions in STIKES dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency is the main thing too. This is closely related to the performance of employees (preformance) in providing the best service to students and the people who need help.The development of the government apparatus is also directed at improving the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of all STIKES administrative structures, dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency, including capacity building, discipline, devotion, role models and the welfare of its officials so that as a whole are increasingly able to carry out tasks in STIKES dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency as well as possible.This study uses a Likert scale, a sample of 20 STIKES employees dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency. The variables used are knowledge suitability (X1), attitude suitability (X2), skill suitability (X3) and work performance (Y). To find out how much influence the independent variable has on work performance, multiple linear regression analysis is used. The multiple linear regression analysis technique used is the F test to simultaneously test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable and the t test to find out which independent variables have the greatest effect on the dependent variable. besides that classic test assumptions are also used.The results of the analysis found that the calculated F value of 19.7752 with a significance level of less than 5%, so that the suitability of knowledge (X1), suitability of attitude (X2), suitability of skills (X3) and work performance (Y). The simultaneous influence of all independent variables on work performance was 78.76%. Partially, each independent variable significantly influences work performance. The dominant influence in this study is the attitude suitability variable (X3) to work performance by 76.17%. This study did not violate the classical multicollinear assumptions and heteroscedasticity assumptions

Abstract

Immunization is one of the efforts to increase the degree of health in a promotive and preventive manner in accordance with the vision of health development, namely healthy Indonesia. The coverage of Universal Child Immunization (UCI) in Jember Regency reached 60.89% while the achievement target was 80%. The survey results in the Village of Kemuning Lor of 15 mothers who have babies obtained the results that about 60% of immunization is incomplete. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about immunization and the completeness of basic immunization in infants in the Kemuning Lor Village, Arjasa District, Jember Regency. The research design is cross-sectional that is concurrent data collection. The population of mothers who have babies is 57 babies. The sample size is 50 people with random sampling technique. The results showed that the level of maternal knowledge was sufficient (48%), Good (18%), lacking (34%). Incomplete infant immunization (62%), and incomplete (38%). Chi square analysis obtained values ​​of x2 count (17,473)> x2 table (4,591), with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05, the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about immunization with the completeness of immunization in infants with a significant or moderate relationship. It is recommended to mothers to increase knowledge about immunization by searching from various sources, this is expected to improve health behavior, especially immunization
