Dawatuna: Journal of Communication and Islamic Broadcasting  is a peer-reviewed national journal on communication, dakwah, broadcasting, education and Islamic studies managed by Institut Agama Islam Nasional (IAI-N) Laa Roiba Bogor in cooperation with Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah (MES) and Intelectual Association for Islamic Studies (IAFORIS) .  This journal focused on communication, dakwah, broadcasting, education, and Islamic studies  through the publication of articles, research reports, and book reviews. The Journal is published The Journal is published four time a year on January, April, July,  and October. The aim of the journal is to disseminate the communication, dakwah, broadcasting, and Islamic studies researches done by researchers. Specifically, the journal will deal with topics, including but not limited to: Broadcasting, Communication, Dakwah & Islamic propagation, Islamic education,  Islamic studies, Islamic education, and other related issues. E-ISSN 2798-6683 P-ISSN 2798-690X. Starting from Volume 1 Number 1 2021 to Volume 5 Number 1 of 2024 published on the website with the URL https://journal.laaroiba.ac.id/index.php/dawatuna. Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing communication of purun mats in the sub-district of Pedamaran. The theory used is Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, then the object of research was in the sub-district of Pendamaran while the research subjects were village heads, community leaders, purun mat craftsmen and the community. The result of this study is that marketing that is still traditional relying on middlemen (people to people) cannot be known directly by many people and is an obstacle to the progress of mat weaving marketing and through existing networks, for example, brought to collectors to be taken out of town and only use Facebook social media in marketing

Abstract

The tourist icon is one of the signs that characterizes a particular area. Each region must have its own tourist icon. One of them is the city of Medan, which has a tourit icon, the Maimoon Palace or what is commonly called the Deli Sultanate Palace. Is one of the icons of the country. To find out the strathey of Pemko Medan in mainting the Maimun palace, researchers used qualitative methodes with a socio-cultural approach. The method used is in- depth interviews and documentation. From the results of the interview the strstegy adopted by Pemko Medan is to continue to promote the Maimoon Palace on various social media, or major events helid im the city of Medan. From the Maimoon palace self, ot major events held ini the city of Medan. From the Maimoon Palace itserlf , it is to. Maintain comfot and cleanliess at the Maimun Palace itself.

Abstract

When people communicate, they seek to achieve shared meaning and share information, ideas, or attitudes with other individuals. If there is no resemblance, there will be a misunderstanding of meaning between the communicator and the communicant; alternatively, the communicant will not catch the message it receives; finally communication will not take place or not communicative. In addition, early childhood, which ranges from one to five years of age, is a very challenging time for children to understand the meaning of language; hence, communication must be considered to ensure that children are not confused. Because the data source for this research is not people but documents, this research uses a qualitative approach. In addition to using documentation techniques, researchers also use comparison methods to find common ground in the process of forming communication principles in early childhood. This research is one example of the type of research conducted in the library (library research). The type of analysis that looks at the substance of the data is called content analysis. The research findings suggest that children enter what is known as a "golden age" at a young age. This is a time when young children are exposed to a variety of stimuli, which this study defines as the "age of wonders." Through clear and consistent communication with children while they are young, we can help them learn to identify and distinguish between right and wrong, making it easier to solve problems, and look out for the best interests of the child. It is hoped that in the future, children will not make wrong decisions about the people they associate with outside the family and will not experiment with activities that can harm themselves or the environment.

Abstract

Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) is the youngest candidate for president or vice president, it is necessary to maximize communication strategies through Instagram in gaining support from young voters. This study uses the Post-Positive Paradigm, with the basis of Agenda Setting theory, Personal Branding theory, Mediatization theory, as well as with a Qualitative-Descriptive research approach. Data Analysis Techniques using Framing Analysis (Zongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki) and qualitative data analysis techniques developed by Miles & Huberman. Methods of data collection using observation, and documentation. Data obtained directly from AHY's Instagram accounts, and observations. AHY reported on his activities, social action activities, family, and political activities, in the form of photos and videos through Instagram @agusyudhoyono social media. In the framing of this research, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono is a political figure who has national values, is firm, a fairly good young politician, a young leader who is admired by young people, has a nationalist spirit, and is a humanist figure. In Personal Branding, Agus Yudhoyono is known and admired by the younger generation as a young political figure, well-groomed, charismatic, handsome, and authoritative.

Abstract

To carry out da'wah activities we can use many ways. For example, by using something that can only be heard, it's easy because it can be heard anywhere and carried anywhere via radio. In this day and age radio does not only function as a means of conveying news but radio now also functions as a means of entertainment and even as a means of communication, education and also now radio can be used as a means of preaching. As we know from the past until it has developed like now, radio is a medium that can only be heard, besides being easy, radio is also cheap for the community. Even though the development of the current television era has emerged, the role of radio in society is irreplaceable. Not a few parents and even teenagers who still use radio for daily entertainment.

Abstract

This research was structured to explain how the mechanism for the production of direct and indirect broadcasts on radio and television. The results of this study The process of broadcasting mechanisms occurs from the moment the idea is created until the idea is disseminated. The steps include the initiator of the idea which in this case is the communicator, then the idea is converted into a form of message that can be sent both verbally and nonverbally through channels and or means of communication that enable the message to reach a wide audience (communicant). live broadcast mechanism can be done in the studio or outside the studio. Broadcasts in the studio, for example, broadcasts of talk shows/programs, dialogues and so on. Indirect broadcasts occur between shooting/coverage and broadcasting, there is a grace period, so there is an opportunity to prepare the program better through the editing process.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how communication is in an Islamic perspective. The use of research methods seen from the type of research that is using the method used in this research is a qualitative method with a library research approach. The results of this study are that the communication in question is Islamic communication, namely communication with al-karimah or ethical morals. Communication with good morals means communication that originates from the Al-Quran and hadith (sunnah of the Prophet). As for the objectives of Islamic communication, one of them is giving good news and threats, inviting those who are good and preventing evil, giving warnings to those who are negligent, advising and admonishing. Principles are guidelines that make humans interpret an event, in Islamic communication covering all Islamic teachings, including aqidah (iman), sharia (Islam), and morals (ihsan). Regarding the method (kaifiyah), various guidelines are found in the Koran and Al-Hadith so that communication can run well and be effective. In various literatures on Islamic communication we can find at least six types of speech styles or talks qaulan sadidan, qaulan balighan, qaulan masurran, qaulan layinan and qaulan ma'rufan.

Abstract

This research was structured to find out about Coordinating the Formats of Da'wah Events, the results of this research are organizing, controlling, supervising the effective and efficient arrangement of da'wah programs, so that in carrying out a da'wah program it can be well controlled and acceptable to mad'u. As we know, at this point, many people are not interested in a da'wah program due to the lack of ways to coordinate various formats of da'wah events so that mad'u are not interested in the da'wah program. In coordinating the various formats of da'wah events, of course, they have their own goals, therefore we must understand their goals and functions.

Abstract

The presence of modern markets has had an impact on decreasing the turnover of traditional market traders in Karawang Regency. The government responded to this problem by creating a program called Pasar Tertib Ukur to improve the image of traditional markets and increase public visits to shop at traditional markets. One of the implementations of this program occurred at the Johar Karawang Market in 2017.This research aims to find out how communication occurs in the Pasar Tertib Ukur Program at Johar Karawang Market. Then, this research also finds out what changes occurred after the implementation of the Orderly Market Program in that market. Qualitative methods using data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation have been carried out in this research. Researchers linked the findings using the Diffusion and Innovation theory and the economic growth development model theory. The research results show that the development communication that occurs lies in the content of the program. The program focuses on guaranteeing measuring and weighing equipment at the Johar Karawang Market and consumer protection. The change that occurred after the program was implemented was an increase in the number of buyers at Johar Karawang Market. The conclusion of this research shows that the Orderly Measurement Market Program has succeeded in bringing about a change in the Johar Karawang Market and increasing its existence so that it is no less competitive with modern markets.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the development and role of da'wah-based internet multimedia. The use of research methods seen from the type of research that is using the method used in this research is a qualitative method with a library research approach. The results of this study are the use of multimedia (internet) in preaching including using website facilities, mailing list facilities, chat facilities, blog facilities, social networking facilities. When looking at the current da'wah, it is deemed necessary to evaluate because the media used also influences the implementation and execution of Islamic da'wah. Given the importance of the internet as a means of preaching, it is necessary to use it in preaching related to the use of the internet as a means of conveying da'wah messages. By taking advantage of the current developments, especially multimedia, it is hoped that da'wah will be able to play a role on the internet to convey goodness and solve problems in everyday life. By spreading da'wah through the internet, of course, the scope is wider and can be accepted by a wider audience, both children, young and old. This journal tries to contribute ideas to inspire preachers to use multimedia (internet) as a means of delivering da'wah.
