Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of pastoral counseling approach focusing on the teachings of Isaiah 41:10 in building individual's mental resilience during crisis periods. Using a qualitative approach and case study research method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with pastoral counselors and individuals who have received pastoral counseling services. Data analysis was conducted using thematic approach to identify common patterns in respondents' experiences and perceptions regarding the development of mental resilience based on the teachings of Isaiah 41:10. The results of the study indicate that the pastoral counseling approach based on the teachings of Isaiah 41:10 has a positive impact in building individual's mental resilience during crisis periods. The principles of faith, strength, and peace contained in the verse provide a solid foundation for the pastoral counseling process. Pastoral counseling techniques such as faith-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, spiritual meditation, and practices of prayer and spiritual reflection have been proven effective in helping individuals overcome challenges, find inner peace, and strengthen their faith. These findings contribute significantly to the field of pastoral counseling, emphasizing the importance of integrating spiritual dimension in building individual's mental resilience during crisis periods. The practical implications of this research can be used by pastoral counselors in designing and implementing counseling programs focusing on strengthening individuals' faith and mental resilience, utilizing the teachings and principles contained in Isaiah 41:10.

Abstract

the aim of this research isto describe the use of internet access by teenagers in Tebing Rubuh Sebawi district and the positive and negative impacts of internet access. The approach used is qualitative with a type of phenomenology. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display, and verivication. The results of the research show that almost all teenagers in Tebing Rubuh access the internet using Wi-Fi by accessing services such as WWW (word, wide, wife), gopherspace, E-commerce, and chat. The positive impact of internet access on the morals of teenagers is having the nature of sympathy and helping each other. Establishing good relationships and connecting, maintaining and strengthening friendship. Can introspect and improve attitudes. Caring and like to help parents, thereby easing the burden on parents. While the negative impacts are accessibf pornography, being cruel and sadistic, committing fraud, gambing, falsifying identity, and not having a sense of caring.

Abstract

The study of this research is the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer at SD Negeri 18 Sadayan fot the 2022-2023 academic year. The aim is to describe the class teacher’s strategy planning to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer. Describe the implementation of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate students to perform the duha prayer. Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI student’s to perform the duha prayer. The approach used is qualitative with a type of phenomenology. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, and verivication. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation and member check. The result is a strategic plan for the class teacher to motivate class VI students to carry out duha prayers including gradual habituation, starting habituation and continuous habituation. The implementation of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to perform the duha prayer includes increasing the ability to memorize the reading of the duha prayer and improving the ability to practice the duha prayer. Abstract

This research aims to delve into the role of church music as a means of koinonia for the contemporary congregation. Church music has the power to deepen social and spiritual bonds among congregation members, even serving as a source of encouragement during worship. However, there is still a lack of research specifically exploring this dynamic in the context of today's congregations. Through a holistic qualitative approach, this study explores individuals' experiences, perceptions, and interpretations of the role of church music in strengthening koinonia. Research methods employed include literature review, light interviews with congregation members and church leaders, participatory observation in worship activities, and content analysis of lyrics, melodies, and arrangements of church music. The findings indicate that church music plays a significant role in creating an atmosphere conducive to fellowship, connecting diverse cultural backgrounds and generations in spiritual unity, and enabling congregants to experience profound fellowship beyond social and cultural boundaries. The conclusion of this research underscores the importance of considering the role of church music in building a strong and united church community amidst dynamic societal changes.

Abstract

Cases of theft of company assets by unscrupulous employees are a criminal offense. Theft of company assets with entry permit facilities causes losses for the company, not only loss of assets, but also other legal consequences in the form of administrative sanctions from the government for the loss of goods with entry permit facilities. This research aims to understand the legal consequences for companies that are victims of criminal acts committed by unscrupulous employees considering that the goods stolen are imported goods with import duties exemption facilities which are the company's responsibility to the government authority that provides these facilities (for example: the Investment Coordinating Board and Directorate General of Customs and Excise). Next, examine whether administrative sanctions for the loss of company assets with import duty facilities fulfill the principles of justice for companies that are victims of theft by unscrupulous employees. This research is a Normative Juridical research with a legal approach and the concept of examining laws, research results and books to find legal theories, principles and views in the process of obtaining answers which are the main subject of this research.
