Abstract

Advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have changed the paradigm in various sectors of life, including education, health services, government and the economy. In the ever-evolving digital era, digitalization has become a significant global trend, influencing the way we communicate and interact, including in villages. Villages, as legal community entities with unique characteristics, are the center of attention in digital transformation in Indonesia. However, to measure the level of success of digitalization in villages, an index is needed that can provide an objective picture. In this context, the Digital Village Index (DVI) exists as an evaluation tool that allows the government and stakeholders to identify areas that require improvement and plan more effective development strategies. The Damai Village case study uses a Design Science approach to develop a comprehensive and relevant DVI, with the hope of formulating appropriate strategies to accelerate the digitalization process in the village, according to local characteristics and needs.

Abstract

The important role of ascorbic acid or Vitamin C in the body is for metabolic processes and tissue repair. Antioxidants from Vitamin C can help protect cells from free radicals. Vitamin C can protect skin and produce collagen. Collagen is a natural protein in the body that forms the structure of the skin, whose production can decrease due to free radicals and aging. Vitamin C can maintain collagen production so that skin looks healthy and firm. Therefore, Vitamin C can work to maintain beauty and health. The highest daily dose of vitamin C is 1,000 milligrams/day. In this service activity, two activities were carried out separately, namely socialization about the importance of Vitamin C for body health and blood donation in Medan Helvetia District, Medan City to provide information to residents of Medan Helvetia District regarding the importance of Vitamin C for body health. Blood donation is also carried out to have many impacts both on the health of the donor and the recipient. This activity was also carried out to increase awareness regarding the health benefits of consuming Vitamin C.

Abstract

As information technology develops, the development of digital media has also shown its role in health promotion efforts. Health promotion is carried out through activities to provide information, influence and help the community to improve their health status. Currently, digital media is more dominantly used in health promotion activities. The use of various media to provide education, convey information and promote health really helps services to the community. So that people can more easily receive information quickly and accurately. This research aims to 1) the type of digital media used 2) the urgency of using digital media in health promotion efforts 3) the role of health promoters in carrying out health promotion based on digital media. In this case the solution offered to partners is to hold outreach regarding health promotion based on digital media in hospitals. The output target of this activity is that it is hoped that health workers will have knowledge in creating digital media-based health promotions in hospitals in more varied ways. In this service the author produced an article on digital media-based health promotion in hospitals
