Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine the role of teachers in teaching Social Studies using the Merdeka curriculum; 2) to identify the challenges faced by teachers in teaching Social Studies using the Merdeka curriculum. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, where the data consists of observations and direct interviews with field experts. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The sample selection for the study is purposively determined based on the expertise of the informants in providing necessary information to the researcher. Data analysis involves three steps: data reduction/selection, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research findings: 1) Teachers in Grade IV actively employ a scientific approach, encouraging students to be actively engaged in learning through various methods and models; 2) Challenges faced by teachers in implementing the Merdeka curriculum include excessive assessment criteria for students and inadequate teaching support facilities provided by the school, which hinder the effective implementation of the Merdeka curriculum

Abstract

In conditions in the field there are still several skills that are not yet visible or fulfilled, many teachers only carry out tasks limited to transferring knowledge without knowing how to package learning to attract students' attention, so that many students are found who lack the motivation to study actively at school, use learning resources which is less than optimal, and the use of models that are less varied or innovative. The aim of the research is to describe conditions in the field regarding the ability of elementary school teachers to carry out thematic learning variations at SDN 70 Tolotongga, Bima City. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection was carried out in three meetings. The research subjects were class III teachers. The variables in this research are the teacher's skills in providing variations and student responses. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of research at SDN 70 Tolotongga, Bima City, teachers have been able to master the skills in carrying out varied learning very well. Variations in learning are carried out in many ways, both through body movements, sounds, activities that can increase enthusiasm for learning, group formation and the use of learning media. Therefore, teachers' abilities in carrying out variations in thematic learning should continue to be improved in order to minimize the obstacles that arise

Abstract

The continuous advancement of technology urges individuals to enhance their intellectual and moral maturity. Education plays a crucial role in shaping a generation that is intelligent and morally upright. Islamic religious education serves as the primary foundation, guiding the pursuit of truth, and becomes an essential need for Indonesian society. This research aims to explore character formation through Islamic religious education in the era of Generation Zet. The research method employed is qualitative, focusing on the analysis of literature sources such as books, research journals, and seminar proceedings. From the literature review, it is evident that character education through Islamic religious education is rooted in religious values, Pancasila, culture, and the goals of national education. The implementation of moral values (character) in Islamic Religious Education is carried out through teaching methods, exemplary models, habits, discipline, and consequences to shape students' characters

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to understand the description of social studies learning discipline and strategies for creating social studies learning discipline in the school environment. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, observations and conclusions. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out by reduction, interpretation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that in implementing social studies discipline learning strategies at SDN 1 Tonroge Sidrap, what is effective is not only about providing knowledge, but also creating learning experiences that are motivating and relevant for children. With a creative and engaging approach, we can help form a solid foundation for students' understanding and interest in Social Sciences

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the social studies project based learning model on learning outcomes at SMP Utama Wacana 8, Mesuji Timur District, Mesuji Regency. This research is an experimental research with a quantitative approach, the design used in the pre-experimental design is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all class VIII of SMP Utama Wacana 8 with a sample of class VIII A based on purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using tests, and documentation. Try out the requirements of the instrument by testing the validity, test the reliability of the test instrument, level of difficulty, and test the ability to differentiate the questions. Analysis prerequisite test using data normality test and linearity test. Data analysis technique using t-test analysis and simple regression test. The results showed that: (1) there was an increase in student learning outcomes before the average value was 42.59 and after the average value was 58.96. (2) the t test, namely the sig (2-tailed) provisions Tcount > Ttable 0.05 which shows that there is an influence. (3) simple regression test (R Square) of 0.366 which means that the magnitude of the effect is 36.6% and the other 63.4% is influenced by other variables
