Abstract

Based on the survey conducted by the author at PT. Prima Multi Selular Semarang, the author tries to develop a system by utilizing an existing server in accordance with the required requirements, namely with a web-based ordering data system program with WAP-based ordering, using the ASP programming language: Active Server Pages. This change aims to make it easier for customers to order goods and increase the company's sales volume. In designing this new application, it also carries out several stages of making DFD, ERD and Normalization diagrams to describe data storage and relationships between data, determine tables to create programs and design input outputs. This stage is carried out as a tool to create a WAP-based ordering application program. WAP-based program is expected to be able to help problems related to PT. Prima Multi Selular. The program that is made, of course, still has several weaknesses and shortcomings, this is possible that the author's experience and knowledge in WAP programming problems is still possible. Suggestions and criticisms are very helpful for writers to develop knowledge in this field.

Abstract

The use of computer technology in various business fields has become a necessity, especially in the current era of globalization, where information around the world can be obtained quickly. The increasing need for information, especially for medical devices, not all areas exist, even if most of them are in big cities, getting customer remote information takes a long time and customers want to do work quickly so that all work can be completed in the least possible time. The use of computer technology is more likely to meet the information needs of customers. Medical device information system at PT. MERAPI UTAMA PHARMA Semarang based on the web is expected to be useful, because with the information via the web like this, customers can place orders remotely and know the amount of stock available so they do not have to come directly to PT. MERAPI UTAMA PHARMA which can take a long time, and by using the web makes it easier for customers to place orders quickly by minimizing the risk of errors in writing item codes.

Abstract

In the modern era, the development of computers and technology makes everything have to be fast, as well as communication techniques, grow very rapidly. Communication can be defined as the process of displaying, changing, interpreting, or processing information between humans or machines. Data communication has become a basic requirement in the business world where they provide information to each other via the computer where they are located. Abstract

In the reform era the world development changes very rapidly, free trade is wide open and businesses similar to PT. Pertamina also started a lot. PT. Pertamina began to use several marketing strategies, including through marketing personnel and occasional advertisements in print media. Based on the marketing strategy used, it turns out that it has not yet achieved satisfactory results. This condition is supported by information for consumers to get to know PT. Pertamina more broadly. Based on data and facts obtained from PT. Pertamina Semarang sales of fuel and lubricants have not been satisfactory and are still as stable as the previous years. This condition causes PT. Pertamina Semarang intends to increase sales of fuel and lubricants more widely. Another obstacle is the problem of selling fuel and lubricants at PT. Pertamina Semarang is a service to facilitate the purchase of fuel and lubricants for consumers who have locations outside the city are still lacking. So far, services for consumers who are outside the city only by telephone or fax machine.

Abstract

Decision support systems are interactive computer-based systems that help decision makers to use data and models to solve unstructured problems. Decision support systems (DSS) combine the intellectual resources of individuals with computer capabilities to improve decision quality. Nerangi Sarana Karya is a company engaged in the engineering sector, in its daily activities PT. Nerangi Sarana Karya carries out production activities, in support of production activities it requires a lot of tools in the form of tools, if these tools run out it will hamper production activities, the purchasing department is responsible if the tools run out, in this implementation the purchasing part is difficult determine the decision to purchase the product because the tools needed have a large number, different sizes and many more criteria. This system functions to recommend product purchases by analyzing or calculating several products with several criteria so that they can be ranked in order from top to bottom, the top one has the highest calculation that can be recommended..

Abstract

Assessment of employee performance is expected to know precisely the success in completing work. Employee performance appraisal is also useful for companies in providing feedback to employees and can be used as a basis for agencies to evaluate employee performance. Most government services currently utilize information technology as an information service to the public and the agency's internal services. In institutions, it is necessary to increase and develop the capabilities, knowledge and skills of its human resources, so that it is expected to be able to produce apparatuses that have competitive competencies. Therefore, the authors designed and built an employee performance appraisal system which was implemented using Electre and Web-based and Android methods. It is expected to be able to assist agencies in evaluating employee performance so that they can remain consistent in carrying out their duties as Civil Servants (PNS) within the scope of services to the community. This research uses the R&D method. researchers only use up to step 6. Based on the results of trials of 10 respondents who have assessed the decision making system using the electre method, that the application of employee performance appraisal using aggregate ranking can help provide information on the level of employee performance based on predetermined criteria. Respondents agree that this system is more efficient in assessing employee performance with an average of the old system = 43.50% while the new system is = 84.50%.

Abstract

This study aims to perform Usability Testing on software or freeware applications, namely LINE Messenger. Usability Testing itself is a method of evaluating the usability of software (Software) which aims to increase the usability of an application / product by analyzing, identifying problems, measure efficiency, measure convenience and determine user satisfaction. Usability testing for the LINE Messenger application is carried out to determine the level of ease of use of the Line application, such as ease of understanding features, memory location of features, and also assessing the User Interface (UI). to the application, preparing test scenarios, looking for respondents or testing subjects, making questionnaires with the System Usability Scale (SUS) standard, and conducting usability analysis on the results of respondents and questionnaires. Then the final output is in the form of reports and conclusions regarding the results of the analysis. LINE Messenger itself is a popular social media application, an application that has many features such as LINE Today, Share screen and also has a LINE Shop. LINE itself is an easy-to-use application, with the results of the questionnaire showing positive Usability Testing results for LINE Messenger.

Abstract

Electric current inserted to the soil media to stimulate plant growth is called electric fertilizer (EF). There are two types of plant fertilization methods, physical & chemical fertilization (synthetic chemistry and organic chemistry). EF is an alternative physical fertilizer that can be used for enhance plant growth beside chemical and biological fertilizer. Using EF can decrease inorganic or agrochemical input which often lead to soil degradation and high production cost in the implementation. This research aims to design EF apparatus to exerting DC electric current and voltage to the soil using electrode plate as a probe to stimulate sweet corn (Zea mays L.) growth and to design an automatic irrigation system using soil moisture sensor. This research also examines the effect of electric input on sweet corn growth. The application of EF with 12V DC (in variable C) which observed for five days show the highest measurements results, but the control variable (A) had a more stable increase in plant height. This research show that EF can stimulate sweet corn growth when it set under appropriate time and electric voltage condition. Variables C and A had the similar weigh, with a difference of 0,02 gram.

Abstract

Electrical equipment plays an important role in everyday life, from households, schools, hotels, offices, to industrial environments. Because it really helps humans in making work easier. The need for automated tools to facilitate human activities, makes the need for smart chips or microcontrollers increasing. A new breakthrough in the world of microcontrollers with the application of Arduino.Especially at SMPN 10 Salatiga, there are fish ponds and garden lights, which you forget to feed or not, while the officers forget to turn off the lights, causing the fish to die and the lights stay on even though it is noon. This study tries to implement Fish Feed Control and automatic garden lights on and off using Arduino and scheduling, this is so that the fish stay healthy and the garden lights can turn on or off according to the schedule desired by management. The author designed a garden lamp and automatic fish feed based on a case study at the school. The tool is designed with three sources of tool control. The first manual is pressing the fish feed manual button, the light switch and the reset button. Both semi-automatic, as a fish feeder, light ON/OFF and reset remote control with the Android application. The third auto is scheduled feeds and lights. This tool is designed to manage fish feed and garden area lighting. This tool is practical to use, inexpensive, useful, flexible and easy to build. The classification of this tool is sufficient for the needs of the school garden. Among the advantages of this tool is that it can be controlled remotely effectively 25 m without a hitch using the android application. The author hopes, this tool provides benefits and solves problems in schools.

Abstract

Employee attendance is primary factor at an institution or company in achieving target. This condition relates to disciplines. And affect to pros and cons company management or human resource quality it self, impact that happened can be in the form of lack of output from production result. Much company managements take decision by conduct salary amputation of each absence employee in the operation. In consequence, must existence of special record to note existence and employees absence in order to employees existence in conducting job activity are noted properly. A lot of way of used for processing employees attendance, one of that is with use barcode machine. In STEKOM, absence system which used is fingerprint scanner machine, but the system mentioned is requiring expensive cost enough, it needs troubleshooting and also repairing. So that company have to releasing a lot of cost for handle employees attendance process. Beside that, damage fingerprint condition, wet and dirty can be became of employees. So its disturb process of absence transaction. Minutiae method is a method which is used by the writer in this research. This method is assumed as an effective method to describe the intrinsic elements in designing and identifying finger print. It is because in processing a program, it should be described in order to be understandable.
