Abstract

Technological developments are currently progressing and developing very rapidly in various ways to facilitate human work and more efficient production in various fields such as fish farming. So the researchers made a design for a fish pellet maker. The purpose of this research was to create a program and design an Arduino-based fish pellet maker automation system. This research method is a design method using ultrasonic sensors as input and autostarting DC motors as output, while the microcontroller used in this study is Arduino Uno with a programming system using Arduino Idea. The results showed that the designed tool worked well, seen from the arduino that controlled the system stably, with an ultrasonic command that would turn on the DC motor automatically when there was movement at a distance of 2 cm, the results of the fish pellet tool could print fish pellets of 4 – 5 mm so it is suitable for adult fish.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has made indonesian people have to follow all health protocols made by the government, to overcome this virus requires movement of all sectors, including the research sector. The research sector is not only engaged in vaccines and drugs but also in efforts to reduce the spread of COVID 19 in Indonesia. This study aims to produce an RFID body temperature and attendance detection tool system using a web-based NodeMcu and produce a program that will send data to the web server. This tool is designed to be able to check body temperature and attendance more accurately and can be monitored directly by the user. The results of the study can directly detect body temperature using the MLX90614 body temperature sensor when someone approaches the sensor, the proxymity sensor will directly order the pump to remove the hand sanitizer liquid, and the RFID Reader detects the presence or attendance using the RFID Card. All data will appear on the LCD and enter the cloud server and will appear on the web page so that it can make it easier for users to carry out attendance activities in daily activities.

Abstract

PT. JMB has experienced a significant increase in demand for electrical energy in recent years. Factors that might cause this increase include rapid company growth, the use of larger and more complex equipment in company operations, as well as changes in electrical energy patterns and needs in the company's environment. PT. JMB may be very dependent on electricity supply from the PLN grid. Therefore, serious consideration is needed to reduce dependence on electricity supply from PLN by integrating Distributed Generators (DG) as an alternative to maintain smooth company operations. In this planning using ETAP software and the test results produced in the software before using the DG have a voltage on bus 3 of around 0.390 kV and on bus 4 around 0.377 kV while the active power manager room used is 4.1 kW and the reactive power used is 3.62 kVAR while in the director's room and all office rooms have active power, namely, the director's room is 2.61 kW and all office rooms are 1.64 kW in reactive power, namely, the director's room is 2.30 kVAR and all offices are 1.45 kVAR.

Abstract

Kerja praktek adalah kegiatan mahasiswa yang memperoleh pengetahuan dan pengalaman praktis di lapangan atas dasar keilmuan yang diteliti. Saat ini proses pendaftaran kerja praktek pada Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Sumatera Utara dilakukan secara manual. Banyaknya peserta dan tempat asal calon peserta yang cukup jauh, yang ingin melakukan Prakerin di Dinas Koperasi Dan UKM Provinsi Sumatera Utara sehingga petugas kerap kewalahan dalam membuat pendataan peserta, mendata pendaftaran dan penempatan peserta parkerin. Diposisi tempat Parakerin yang kerap tidak sesuai dengan program studi calon peserta serta belum adanya sistem yang dapat menghasilkan laporan data penerimaan prakerin sehingga mengakibatkan sebagian pendataan arsip prakerin rusak karena beberapa kesalahan teknis dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Oleh sebab itu dilakukan kerja praktek ini dengan tujuan untuk membuat rancangan suatu sistem informasi manajemen prakerin. Sistem informasi ini dirancang  untuk membantu dan memudahkan staf pegawai Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Sumatera Utara dalam pengelolaan data peserta prakerin mulai dari pengelolaan data peserta prakerin, proses pendaftaran sampai proses penempatan peserta prakerin.

Abstract

In general, we are certainly no stranger to seeing a tool called a simple pendulum swing for measuring the acceleration of gravity which is often shown during basic physics practicum courses. A simple pendulum swing with a manual measurement pattern is a physics practicum teaching aid that aims to measure the value of the acceleration of gravity with the form of a series of tools in the form of a small object, namely a solid ball and hung on a rope whose mass can be neglected. Then the other end of the rope is hung on a fixed hanger, after which if the pendulum is given a small deviation and then released, the pendulum will oscillate (vibrate) between two points, for example points A and B, with a fixed period T. Where the variables measured are the period (T), the mass of the pendulum (m), the angle deviation (O) and the length of the string (L) which will then be processed into an equation to find the value of the acceleration due to gravity. While the simple pendulum swing device with a digital pattern is a teaching aid for physics practicum whose purpose is also the same, namely to measure the value of the acceleration of gravity with the form of a series of tools that are also almost the same but the difference is the addition of intelligent electronic devices, namely the Arduino module as a control system and proximity sensors and push buttons. button as input device. The description related to the function of the electronic device for measuring the time variable of a pendulum when swinging is carried out using a capacitive proximity sensor with an Arduino internal timer facility. While the manual pattern usually uses a stopwatch.
