Abstract

The atmosphere of the COVID 19 pandemic changed the pattern of community service. In this case the Door to Door method is the best choice. The area of ​​training is Way Huwi Village because of high economic growth. The principle of this method is that the speakers come to people's houses with the aim of disseminating the results of their research. The case study conducted in order to identify groundwater well specifically for drinking purposes. This method will be better applied if previous research has been done. The results of the training show that the community can only distinguish water quality based on physicality alone. We need train the community so they can understand the principles of water for drinking purpose. The community response was very good with the many questions asked. This might be different if done in a room with many participants

Abstract

Beji Village, Junrejo Sub-District of Batu City has been known as “Kampung Tempe” as most of the people produce tempe. Active participation from universities is definitely important to assist the production of “tempe” in Beji village. This assistance program is aimed to enhance the production of “ tempe” to optimize the production yield, time-efficiency and hygiene which also generate adequate profits. The target subjects of this social assistance program was the group of SMSE “tempe” active businessmen in “Kampung Tempe”. The program included assistance in producing “Tempe” using Glucono Delta-Lactone method. This technology was expected to be the solution to address problems related to inconsistent quality due to the use of traditional method without reducing the taste and quality. This program was administered as a training program which included advisory, demonstration and independent assistance. The results of this research showed that the program successfully improved subjects’ knowledge on the use of more efficient method which produced “tempe” with better quality within shorter time, making the cash flow more efficient

Abstract

Microentrepreneurs activities contribute to economic growth and social empowerment. KOTA PELANGI is one of women’s microentrepreneurs community that actively works to empower women in South Jakarta. Nevertheless, this community faces problems and limitations. The objective of this study is to design proper training and coaching as a solutions of those problems. The activities were conducted by data and information collections, field survey, observation, exploration, and design of the program. Results showed that more than 50% of community members work in the food business area. There are five priority problems faced by this community: marketing strategy, product quality and innovation, capital, equipment and facilities, employee and business management, business certification, and packaging. The model designed to solve each problem by training, coaching, and monitoring which is supported by various programs. The programs designed to solve the problems and increase the knowledge of community members, so they can manage their business better.

Abstract

Competitiveness enhancement of the dried three spot gourami producers in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province was undertaken, because they are the least beneficiaries of the business system that has been run for generations. The competitiveness was developed through improvement of the production technology, managerial, and business culture. Technology enhancement was achieved by improving the drying method, product diversification, quality improvement, packaging improvement, and labeling. Managerial aspects developed included management in finance, resources, and marketing. Cultural development was focused on social behavior, namely education on the importance of investment and financial management so that the revenue obtained can be used as business assets again. Those efforts have effectively improved the indicators of business competitiveness, namely increasing income, increasing product added value, increasing innovation and creativity, raising awareness of quality, increasing managerial ability, and improving attitudes and enthusiasm for continuous improvement

Abstract

Ngebel is known as one of the centers for durian fruit in Ponorogo, and is known as Kampung Durian. Durian skin waste that has not been utilized. Through the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach the team of this community service has assisted to make use of durian skin waste to become organic fertilizer to supplements the durian crops. Through the construction of the composter house and technology transfer support program for the processing of durian skin waste into organic fertilizer, the results showed that the people of Kampung Durian village were able to make organic fertilizer with good quality standards. The organic fertilizer products have been tested on durian crops, so that they can increase the production and quality of durian fruit, increase the capacity of the Karang Asri Farmer Group in Kampung Durian to use local resources and increase the capacity to cultivate and process durian skin waste.

Abstract

Solo is an area with a high level of diversity, in terms of ethnicity, culture and religion. Besides of being known as the center of Javanese culture, Solo is also noted to have a high level of intensity of radical-extremism movements. Various efforts to prevent the increasing strong currents of extreme-radicalism are also important to be done. Islamic literacy for courteous and tolerant movement is one of form to prevent extreme-radicalism movement. This program is carried out with a model of direct assistance to millennial Muslim groups in the context of campaigning for a courteous and tolerant Islam. By involving millennial Muslim groups from the high school to university level, this program seeks to prevent the spread of radical-extreme movements among young people in Soloraya area. The mentoring process is carried out through several stages, starting from deepening various authoritative sources on courteous and tolerant Islamic values ​​through the santri camp to public campaigning in the Solo car free day arena. The results show that millennial Muslim groups in Soloraya have succeeded in campaigning for the values ​​of courteousness and tolerance in Islam in a variety of creative ways so as to demonstrate the importance of a tolerant voice in the midst of the image of Solo which is perceived as the basis for the extreme-radical groups movement.

Abstract

The lack of open communication between parents and children triggers adolescents to engage in deviant behavior, including premarital sex. This activity aims to improve the knowledge and communication skills of BKR members regarding adolescent reproductive health as an effort to reduce the incidence of unwanted pregnancy and early marriage in Padukuhan Mertosanan Kulon, Potorono Village. The interventions provided were in the form of counseling and roleplay as well as discussion of case studies related to adolescent reproductive health. Based on the results of the intervention, knowledge about reproductive health increased, participants were skilled in solving problems in case studies and were able to practice health communication to adolescents. It is very important to carry out regular adolescent reproductive health education activities for BKR members.

Abstract

Aquaculture is one of the essential community livelihoods in Garassikang Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency. However, abrasion that occurs in the coastal area of this village becomes a threat to the sustainability of community aquaculture ponds. The objectives of this Community Partnership Program (Program Kemitraan Masyarakat/PKM) is to rehabilitate of mangrove area for preventing abrasion on the coast of Garassikang Village, Jeneponto Regency. A total of 1,500 mangrove seeds from Rhizophora sp. have been planted in this program and involve the government village and community as partners. We implemented the planting distance of mangrove seed is 1m x 1m and giving a space for fishermen boat access. More attention of partners to maintain and conserve the mangrove planted become a worthy contribution to halt coastal abrasion and the sustainability of mangrove area and aquaculture activity in the coastal area of this village.

Abstract

Social problems are problems that are deeply rooted in every country, including Indonesia. This problem penetrates into all fields, one of which is education. Plus the COVID-19 pandemic situation has also brought up many new problems in the world of education. The learning that was applied during this pandemic made a new learning transformation from what was originally offline to online. 80% of all parents of SDN Nguling I, II and III state that their children have difficulty understanding the material when learning online. Online School Assistance through SIPUNG is a concrete solution to improve the quality and understanding of student learning during online learning. By using the service learning method, it is proven to be able to improve the quality and understanding of students, students understand the importance of learning and parents are increasingly aware of the importance of providing the best assistance in order to achieve the success of children's education.

Abstract

: The purpose of this community service is 1) Formulating and formulating digital marketing training from BUMDes,and 2) Describing the impact of digital marketing training from BUMDes Selo Angon Makmur in empowering people affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic in Tumpang Village, Talun Subdistrict, Blitar Regency. This method of devotion is PAR or Participatory Action Research. The subject of this service is bumdes selo angon makmur business partner community. The data collection techniques in this study use primary and secondary data. The data analysis techniques in this study use interactive analysis. The result of this service is in the form of training assistance from various parties to open marketing opportunities online market business withber forthe efforts of the village community and BUMDes. The impact of this training assistance results in advanced training to prepare various business development programs, one of which is preparing business training for the community such as; 1) Production Training and Business Feasibility. 2) Product Packaging Training. 3) Marketing training on business results and 4) financial management
