Abstract

TQM has been proposed as a global advanced strategy to achieve quality goods and services that result in superior operational performance of SMEs. This study aims at the effect of TQM on product innovation, process innovation, and operational performance of SMEs and examines the effect of product innovation and process innovation on SME performance. Tests were also conducted to examine the influence of product innovation mediation variables and innovation processes on the relationship between TQM and SME operational performance. The study approach was carried out by collecting data through questionnaires through surveys. The respondents in this research were recycling-based SMEs in Sleman Regency, totaling 80 SMEs. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that TQM has a positive and significant effect on product innovation, process innovation, and operational performance of SMEs and product innovation and process innovation also has a positive and significant effect on SME performance. In addition, product innovation and process innovation positively and significantly mediate the relationship between TQM and SME operations. The results of this study have a theoretical contribution for future researchers and a practical contribution for business people, especially SMEs in order to continue to improve their operational performanceKeywords : Innovation, Performance, Total Quality Management, SME

Abstract

Leadership, motivation, work discipline, and commitment are the four elements that this study seeks to identify as having an effect on the performance of the civil servant (ASN) employees of the Secretariat of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of Klaten regency. The research strategy used in this study is quantitative. There are a total of 38 individuals employed by the ASN at the DPRD Secretariat within the Klaten regency. This research used the census method for sampling, with a total of 38 respondents. Gathering information by use of surveys. Statistical analysis makes use of a number of data analysis procedures, including F tests, t tests, determination coefficients, and double linear regression tests. Leadership, motivation, work discipline, and commitment all have a favorable and substantial effect on the DPRD Secretary of Klaten district's performance, according to the study. Staff performance will be at an all-time high since the secretariat of the DPRD district of Klaten is always working to enhance leadership, motivation, work discipline, and commitment.Keywords: Performance, leadership, motivation, work discipline, and commitment.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the direct and indirect effects of social media marketing, word of mouth, and brand awareness on purchase decisions through consumer satisfaction at Bursa Coffee in Sleman city. The study employs a quantitative approach with the population being all Bursa Coffee consumers in Sleman. The sample collected in the Sleman area was 163 respondents. A questionnaire was utilized to collect data from 163 respondents aged 20-25, encompassing both genders and educational backgrounds from high school to postgraduate levels. Also work backgrounds. Monthly expenditures ranged from Rp100,000 to Rp500,000, and monthly visits varied from 1 to more than 3 times. The data analysis technique employed in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS). Results reveal that social media marketing, word of mouth, and brand awareness significantly and positively influence purchase decisions. Additionally, these factors positively impact consumer satisfaction, and consumer satisfaction, in turn, positively affects purchase decisions. The study indicates that social media marketing, word of mouth, and brand awareness collectively influence purchase decisions through the mediator of consumer satisfaction.Keywords : Brand Awareness, Consumer Satisfaction, Purchase Decision, Social Media Marketing, Word Of Mouth

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of e-service on repurchase intention with e-trust and e-satisfaction as mediating variables for SME Batik customers in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. The type of research carried out was survey research with a total of 100 respondents. The criteria used in selecting respondents were that they had made online purchases from Batik UKMs in Kulon Progo, the purchases were made during the pandemic or after the pandemic and were at least 17 years old. This research was carried out with the help of SmartPLS 3.2.8 software. And the results obtained in this research are that E-service has a significant effect on repurchase intention in Batik SMEs in Kulon Progo; E-service has a significant effect on e-trust in Batik SMEs in Kulon Progo; E-service has a significant effect on e-satisfaction in Batik SMEs in Kulon Progo; E-service has a significant effect on repurchase intention through e-trust in Batik SMEs in Kulon Progo; and E-service has a significant effect on repurchase intention through e-satisfaction in Batik SMEs in Kulon Progo.Keywords : E-Service, Repurchase Intention, E-Trust, E-Satisfaction, UKM Batik Kulon Progo

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Organizational Justice on Employee Engagement Mediated by Job Satisfaction at the Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Kedirgantaraan (STTKD) Yogyakarta. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study was 159 employees, where the sample used was 114 employees. The data collection method in this study was a questionnaire measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis technique in this research is Path Analysis and Paired Sample Test on Permanent Employees and Contract Employees. The results of this study indicate that 1) There is a positive and significant effect of Organizational Justice variable on employee engagement at the STTKD Yogyakarta. 2) There is a positive and significant effect of Organizational Justice variable on Employee Engagement mediated by Job Satisfaction at the STTKD Yogyakarta. 3) There is a significant difference in employee engagement of permanent employees and non-permanent employees at the STTKD Yogyakarta.Keywords : Organizational Justice, Employee Engagement, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to implement portfolio models using the Markowitz Model and Single Index Model, and to qualitatively compare the portfolios formed by these two models. A quantitative descriptive approach is employed. The study focuses on a population of 24 companies listed in the IDX High Dividend 20 stock index for the year 2022. The optimal portfolio formation through the Single Index Model results in 5 candidate companies: ADRO (36.06%), BBCA (12.87%), BBNI (22.34%), BBRI (21.86%), ITMG (6.87%) with a return of 3.44% and a portfolio risk of 0.23%. Meanwhile, the Markowitz Model results in 6 candidate companies: ADRO (18.81%), BBCA (2.21%), INDF (20.25%), ITMG (12.75%), KLBF (40.82%), UNVR (4.86%) with a return of 2.89% and a portfolio risk of 0.10%.Keywords : IDX High Dividend 20, Markowitz Model, Single Index Model, Optimal Portfolio

Abstract

This research aims to investigate consumer behavior in using OVO in DIY Province through the integration of the Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The object of this research was carried out in DIY Province with a total sample of 203 respondents who met the criteria. Research data was obtained through distributing questionnaires online which was then processed via Smart PLS to determine the influence between the variables tested. The research results found that perceived benefits and perceived ease of use influence attitudes towards using the OVO application. Besides that, attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have a significant effect on behavioral intentions in using the OVO application. Research shows that perceived usefulness (β=0.405) has a stronger influence on attitudes compared to perceived ease of use (β=0.151). Meanwhile, perceived behavioral control (β=0.532) has a higher influence on behavioral intentions compared to attitudes (β=0.241) and subjective norms (β=0.130).Keywords : OVO application; Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB); Theory Acceptance Model (TAM).

Abstract

This abstract aims to investigate the influence of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on innovative work behavior (IWB) with perceived organizational support (POS) as a mediating variable among employees of the Grand Keisha Hotel in Yogyakarta. The research problem focuses on the dynamics of the relationship between leaders and team members and how it influences the level of innovation in employee work behavior. The research method used was a survey with a questionnaire distributed to hotel employees. Data testing was carried out using statistical regression analysis techniques to measure the relationship between variables. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between LMX and IWB. In addition, POS also mediates the relationship between LMX and IWB. Thus, it can be concluded that the  existence of a good relationship between leaders and team members (LMX) and perceived organizational support (POS) encourage an increase in innovative work behavior of hotel employees. These results provide important implications for management in improving leadership interactions with team members as well as strengthening organizational support to encourage innovation in the work environment.
