Abstract

Unipolar PWM control technique carried out by comparing triangular wave with two control voltages. The resulting pulses are used to control H-Bridge circuit. The technique can be done by using the functions of the operational amplifier. There are three main circuits needed is a triangular wave circuit, voltage control circuit, and a comparator circuit. With proper adjustment between the triangular waves and voltage control, voltage regulation will be obtained smooth.

Abstract

Fire is one disaster that often leads to the large amount of material losses and casualties. This is partly due to the lack of support tools provided by residential buildings. There are two kinds of systems of fire protection of buildings against disasters namely active and passive protection systems. One example of passive protection system is a system of early detection of the symptoms of fire. The existence of this detection system is very important because it can avoid the fires that endanger the occupants of the house more. The fire detector system design using technology Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Wireless Sensor Network technologies are used by utilizing the Zigbee wireless network as data communication. In which every residential building mounted fire detectors consisting of 1 smoke sensor, 1 temperature sensor and, 1 censor hotspots. One of the advantages of the ZigBee network is also in addition to the license -free operation is very easy, it is small and requires very low power. Besides, also the application of ZigBee technology in this thesis is used to establish communication protocols and systems make the security system and the reliability of data. This technology consist of a standard seven layer OSI model.

Abstract

This research was to explore the merit of signal processing scheme in solving the identification problems of heart murmurs signal utilizing the available data from a number of Indonesia heart patients. The signal processings were based on an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method preceded by the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis and directed to nine known classes of murmurs, namely the stenosis aorta valve,defect septum atrium, regurgitation mitral, defect septum ventricle, click-mid systolic, regurgitation stenosis aorta, presistolic, stenosis mitral, and ductusarteriosus paten ones. The ANN weight vectors were grouped according to their clustering patterns which represent their respective specific features, based on the corresponding training data samples. The 78.5% success of identification on other data samples is encouraging. The research resorted mainly to the available MATLAB software tools.

Abstract

Previous research has been done to overcome the problems that occur in UAV Trirotor, one of which is the problem of the control stability . Stability control problems in the presence UAV Trirotor yaw moment caused by torque reaction and the unpaired angle is not accurate in maintaining the stability of the system at the time of the UAV Trirotor hover movement . This paper presents a model of control that can maintain the stability of the system as well as get an accurate tilt angle to solve the UAV Trirotor yaw moment during a hover movement ( hovering) . Control method used is the method of control Proportional Integral Derivative ( PID ) and the Sliding Mode Control ( SMC ). Simulation results show that the PID controller can maintain the stability of the roll angle , pitch angle , yaw angle , and is able to suppress the errors that arise when there is uncertainty in the measurement parameters and the response of the system is able to achieve a given reference . From the results of this control tilt angle values ??obtained on one of the rotor . Then , PID controller and SMC are also able to cope with disturbances and maintain the position of a given height and maintain the robustness of the system.

Abstract

The segway plant has a certain load change and noise thus requare a controller that can handle both these problems. PID controller is able to control the plant when angle inclination changes that occurred not too large. For the PID, the value of sensor variables are angle elevation, then its parameters estimation problem is also different from the estimation of the parameters that are not angle valued, the reason is the nonexistence of linearity from data accelerometer sensor. This robot has ability to maintain balance with two wheels and work at an angle of -8 degrees to +8 degrees to obtain a balance.

Abstract

Harmonic is one of sinusoidal components, one wave period from which having multiple frequency of its fundamental frequency one, leading to electrical power quality problems. Harmonic distortion in term of voltage and current ones, generally is due to non linier impedance. Inverter is one of example of it. The result of the tests were showed that voltage harmonic distortion at inverter did not exceed the IEEE 519-1992 maximum limitation of 5%. While current harmonic distortion for each phase exceed 102,3%, 89,94% and 72,67%. After using passive filter, the total harmonic distortion (THD) current became 5,458 %, 6,118% and 5,968% for each phase.
