Abstract

Changes in road conditions and friction wheel slip can result in the vehicle causing inconvenience to the user of the vehicle. To overcome this it is necessary to control the vehicle to slip in a state of minimal slip. In this study developed a method of control of the Direct Torque Control (DTC) in the three-phase induction motor is used as a vehicle to haul truck. By looking at the methods of the selected settings existing sliding mode method to overcome the problem of slip that occurs on the vehicle. DTC method is used to set the torque value directly, while the sliding mode method is used to regulate and minimize slippage that occurs in the vehicle. Simulations conducted in this research. The results of the simulation study shows that the method of sliding mode controller can minimize the slip according to setpoin 0.2. Slip the resulting values ??are in the range of provisions that slip occurs in a vehicle with a value of ? = 0 to ? = 1.

Abstract

In doing microwave transmission interference and attenuation effects , not so much propagation Line Of Sight. Therefore it takes a computation and checking of a transmission network that values ??of interference does not greatly effect the availability value is supposed to be, there are several ways to avoid or even eliminate interference case is to replace the sub-band and change the polarization of the antenna system microwae. On the transmission network owned by Axiata PT.XL Banten there is a case of interference, namely the link Panimbang Hop-Labuan-Cigeulis due to using the same frequency and the same sub-band. RF Scanning seen from the results that the link is indeed indicated interference. Therefore, by using software pathloss 5.0 will be able to do an analysis of a link or network terinterferensi. so as to reduce and resolve a case interference occurs, and the value of a link availability can be well worth it. Optimization is done there will be a change of the ODU or replace the antenna polarization between vertical or horizontal. Optimization to do is replacing frequency channel that was using 1h (high) - 1l (low) the frequency is 7747.70 MHz-8059, 02 MHz, to frequency channel 3h (high) - 3l (low) the frequency is 7807.00 MHz-8118.32 MH. By doing this method interference value will be lost. Then after the optimization of the value of availability to 99.99993%.

Abstract

In wireless communications, demand to provide high-speed data services with good performance raises new techniques to increase spectrum efficiency and improved signal quality due to frequency selective fading. OFDM is a multi-carrier technique can be used to accommodate all these requirements. But in its development, this OFDM still has some weaknesses such us still large PAPR values and lack of power spectral efficiency improvements, OWDM used to overcome these deficiencies. In OWDM, inverse wavelet packet transform (IWPT) is used to generate the transmitted symbol on the transmitter and the forward wavelet packet transform (WPT) will restore the transmitted data symbol on the receiver. The OWDM system will divide the frequency band into several sub-bands that independent and isolated spectral called subchannelization. From the test simulation obtained OWDM give some things that can be compared with OFDM. In PAPR reduction, OWDM lead in reducing the PAPR. In OWDM case, the smallest PAPR value is produced in small-order wavelet, Coiflet, use few sub-bands and QPSK modulation.

Abstract

The problems on the Coupled Tank control level is the existence of disturbance in the flow that supplies tank would make unstability response, so it could happen the cross interaction between input and output. PI control is an attractive option when the formulation of the proposed method to the Coupled Tank TITO system. PI control has the ability to maintain a steady state value of the response of the disturbance. In this study, it use Decoupling in cross interaction processes for every tank. Coupled Tank on TITO system can changes transfer function to SISO, so it can minimize the effect of interactions. The good way to design a model is consider the state on that plant, so the desired control model capable save non-linearity from TITO system. The simulations show value of percent overshoot (Mp), settling time (Ts) and steady state error (Ess), of the state of each system was 0%, 38 seconds, and 0.22%.

Abstract

Optimization of the amount of procurement carried out by using three variables, namely sales, inventory and procurement. Variable sales consists of two fuzzy sets, namely: down and up, variable inventory consists of two fuzzy sets, namely: a little and a lot, while procurement is made up of two variable fuzzy set, which decreases and increases. By combining all these fuzzy sets, obtained four fuzzy rules, which is then used in each inference. In the inference stage, look for the antecedent membership value (?) and the optimization of the estimated procurement value (z) of each rule. Optimization of procurement of goods (z) sought by an average defuzzification method centralized. Analysis using the Tsukamoto method produces the optimum conditions of procurement reaches 38 cloth / bales, this approach calculations generated by Shop My Text without using methods Tsukamoto, ie 35 cloth / bales. Analysis using the Tsukamoto method shows the real condition that must be carried out by the seller of goods in store My Text in the procurement process so that more targeted.

Abstract

The existence of inductor and capacitor in RLC circuit without source, at least, creates system that has characteristic of second order differential equation. Differential equation can be solved using 4th order Runge-Kutta method. RLC circuits without source that have same configuration yet different elements value will give different responses. It makes RLC circuit analysis become difficult. The solving steps of the equation of RLC circuit without source that is a second order differential equation begun with making 2 first order differential equations based on the RLC circuit equation. The next step is typing solving steps using 4th order Runge-Kutta method based on 2 first order differential equationsin Matlab to get the natural response graphic of series RLC circuit and parallel RLC circuit in a short time. By solving the equation of series RLC circuit without source and parallel RLC circuit without source, known that the using of the 4th order Runge-Kutta method in RLC circuit analysis give results (natural response) with high accuracy compared with the exact values of natural response. For the parallel RLC circuit discussed, the highest error is 0,0023 (0,23%). For the series RLC circuit discussed, there is no error.

Abstract

Harmonic is one of sinusoidal components, one wave period from which having multiple frequency of its fundamental frequency one, leading to electrical power quality problems. Harmonic distortion in term of voltage and current ones, generally is due to non linier impedance. Energy saving lamp is one of example of it. This research was done by performing studies in harmonic voltage and harmonic current from four different brands of energy saving lamp having power rating of 8 watt, 16 watt, and 20 watt and uses IEEE Standard of 519-1992 as a reference in determining maximum limitation voltage and current harmonics. The result of the tests were showed that total harmonic distortion (THD) voltage at each different brand of energy saving lamp having power rating of 8 watt, 16 watt, and 20 watt did not exceed the IEEE 519-1992 maximum limitation of 5%. While total harmonic distortion (THD) current at each different brand of energy saving lamp having power rating of 8 watt, 16 watt, and 20 watt had exceed result range exceeding 71,2%.
