This issue is examined utilizing a meta-synthesis method and a systematic literature review employing SALSA (Search, Appraisal, Synthesis, and Analysis) techniques. The data was collected using the Publish or Perish (PoP) tool from Google Sholar's online database between 2000 and 2002. There were 55 articles linked to the social business Grameen bank Muhammad Yunus in Indonesia that were discovered using the keywords available. Only 23 articles are truly relevant to the topic of research on the social business of Grameen bank Muhammad Yunus in Indonesia after going through the article screening step. This research reveals that there has been a lot of discussion in Indonesia concerning Grameen Bank Yunus' social enterprise from diverse perspectives. Researchers have proposed two distinct tendencies. For starters, it is frequently used optimistically. The social business model Grameen bank used in Indonesia can eliminate poverty, according to 91 percent of the 23 papers. Second, it has a gloomy bent. Two MSMEs out of the 23 in this study failed to apply the Grameen Bank social business model. Furthermore, the Grameen Bank Yunus social business model faced criticism, one of which was that it did not follow Islamic shari'ah in practice. Specifically, according to certain Islamic philosophers, adopting an interest-based structure. Specifically, according to certain Islamic scholars, adopting an interesting system that includes riba is practicing usury legislation, which is haram. Nonetheless, the bulk of research findings indicates that Grameen Bank Yunus' social business model has the potential to be employed as one of the options for alleviating poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article discusses the life journey of Sayyid Jamaluddin Al Afghani (1938-1897), his thoughts and teachings on Islamic modernisation and their relevance for Indonesia in facing today’s free trade. Using the historical narrative writing method, this article describes the history of Afghani’s life and works. Furthermore, the author analyses the main points of Afghani’s thoughts, especially in terms of rationalism, the six principles of truth (Arkan al-Sittah) in dealing with materialism, Qadha and Qadar, and the role of government, and writes down their relevance for Indonesia in facing competition in the era of globalisation. In the face of global competition, the author argues that Afghani’s thinking can be applied to Indonesia at two levels. At the country level, Indonesia can use it to improve its economic diplomacy strategy. Meanwhile, at the community level, the Indonesian people can apply it in determining the choice of social and economic activities to be more in favour of domestic products. With the collective strength of the community, it is hoped that Indonesia can be economically independent. Abstract

Islam adheres to the principle of justice in carrying out muamalah activities, especially in the economic field. Fairness is the main principle and foundation of business relationships between sellers and buyers. Fair means that business activities must be fair and mutually beneficial and do not cause harm to one party, so that the injured party feels aggrieved by the other party. One practice that may harm one party in a business is the practice of gharar. Gharar is an attempt to gain profit illegally way according to Islamic law because it causes the transfer of rights in a false way which has been strictly forbidden by Allah Subhanawu wa Ta'ala. Although Muslim scholars and scholars differ in expressing the definition of gharar, it explicitly has a mutual meaning. In Islamic legal texts fraud (tadlis or khilaba), lesion or misrepresentation (ghabn), gross misrepresentation (ghabn fahish), deception (shushsh), imbalance (gharar), and trickery (taghrir) are used interchangeably as to mean fraud. Such practices can lead to disputes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method by studying the literature, both classical, contemporary, and scientific journals. The results of the study found that gharar was forbidden because of the presumption between the two transacting parties. Disputes are a danger that will lead to bloodshed between Adam's children and grandchildren. The danger must be removed (al-dhararuu yuzalu). Thus the unavoidable minor gharar caused by unavoidable gharar is unavoidable and unavoidable transactions that have been agreed upon between the seller and the buyer.
