Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of fatherlessness on the psychological development of children from commuter marriage families. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subject of this study is an 8-year-old child. Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observations, and psychological tests. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data's validity is tested using source triangulation techniques. Based on the research results, the impact of fatherlessness on the psychological development of the child shows that: S does not get quality time with his father to engage in play activities because the father works out of town and returns only once a year. S's father verbally abuses his wife, indicating the loss of the father's role as a source of love and protection from harm. S's father makes rules and decisions within the house without first consulting his wife and children. Every decision made by the father must be followed by the mother and children, or else the father becomes angry. S's father believes that raising and educating children is solely the mother's responsibility, and a husband's role is only to provide for the family financially. S's mother is unable to establish the father's presence in the children's lives. S has difficulty following lessons at school and adapting to school life, as he always needs to be accompanied by his mother. When playing, S only interacts with close friends he already knows.

Abstract

Vanname shrimp cultivation is one of the most developed aquacultures in Indonesia and makes it one of the commodities with the highest foreign exchange inputs for the Indonesian state from the fisheries sector. Disease attack is one of the main causes of failure in vaname shrimp culture, especially disease attacks caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria. Avicennia alba mangrove leaf extract is known to have active compounds that can act as antibacterial. This research was conducted by mixing Avicennia alba mangrove leaf extract with doses of 150 ppm (VA), 250 ppm (VB) and 350 ppm (VC) into commercial feed by re-pelletting. Positive control (KV+) treatment used commercial vitamins added to the feed. The vaname shrimp used was 60 days old with an average initial weight of 8.9 grams. The aquariums used were 15 pieces with a size of 60 x 30 x 40 cm and a volume of 54 liters of water. The white shrimp challenge test with Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria with a concentration of 106 Cfu/ml as much as 0.2 ml. The clinical symptoms of white vaname shrimp include pale white hepatopancreas, blackened tail, grippy swimming legs, necrosis in some parts of the body, necrosis of the tail, blackened and necrotic rectum, broken intestines that are partially brown and starting to turn white, empty intestines, presence of white feces. appears in the aquarium, decreased appetite, as well as not actively swimming. The results showed that Avicennia alba leaf extract had an effect on absolute weight growth (W), growth rate (GR), specific growth rate (SGR), survival rate (SR), total haemocyte count (THC) and phagocytic activity of white shrimp. The dose of 350 ppm VC treatment was the most influential dose as an immunostimulant in this study.

Abstract

In recent years, the development of human-computer interaction technology has reached remarkable levels, particularly in the field of facial expression recognition. This technology utilizes human facial images to identify and classify emotional expressions such as happiness, sadness, fear, and more through computer image processing. Active research in facial expression recognition yields substantial benefits for individual and societal advancement, especially in the context of its application within Smart City environments. This study demonstrates that well- configured Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models empowered by TensorFlow exhibit higher accuracy compared to models utilizing PyTorch. The TensorFlow model achieves the highest accuracy of 93% in recognizing emotional expressions, whereas the PyTorch model achieves 69% accuracy. The TensorFlow model also displays lower accuracy loss and shorter training times compared to the PyTorch model. In the context of calculating happiness indices within Smart City environments, the appropriate choice of technology significantly influences measurement accuracy and efficiency. Therefore, the TensorFlow platform, proven to deliver superior performance in this study, can be a strategic choice for integrating facial expression detection technology into happiness index measurements in such locations
