Abstract

The objectives of this study are to japan's cultural diplomacy through anime and manga in promoting the 2020 tokyo olympics. With the pandemic arising on the horizon, Tokyo 2020’s Olympics had to suffer schedule setbacks for almost a year, amongst many other causalities from its wake. The practice of cultural diplomacy is a legitimized act of soft power move by one’s countries upon others. In the modern age comes with details of many mediums and types that enhance the mainlined diplomacy acts. Japan’s usage of anime and manga culture had taken over the world by storm along with its fans that are interconnecting the further attempt at mutual understanding, and universally shared values. By using nine characters from beloved manga and promoting the Olympics through cooperation with famed anime studios, the result is a magnanimous and harmonious symbiotic relationship that blooms within international sportsmanship. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced this development to direct humanity to places that perhaps 15 years ago were said to be almost impossible, including reduced space for face-to-face meetings, restrictive regulations, and also sanctions that must be implemented regarding matters around related topics.

Abstract

Chemotherapy drug “cyclophosphamide (SP)” can trigger oxidative stress that causes hematotoxicity and myelotoxicity, therefore an agent that can suppress the negative effects of cyclophosphamide is needed. Boswellic acid is an herbal medicine that has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of boswellic acid (BA) in hematology parameter rats induced by cyclophosphamid. Animal were allocated in to six groups, each group consists of 5 rats, the KS: healthy group, KSP: cyclophosphamide group; KSD: comparison group, and BA groups (K1;K2;K3). The treatment groups were given cyclophosphamide (SP) at dose of 150 mg/kg body weight (BW) i.p. The BA groups (K1,K2,K3) were given BA at dose of 250 mg/kg BW orally for 6 consecutive days and SP on day 1 (K1), day 4 (K2), day 6 (K3). The results showed that BA administration (K2 and K3) can help increase/maintain the amount of hematological parameters including hemoglobin, hematocrit, and erythrocytes. Administrating BA for 6 days consecutively before SP (K3) has shown best results on hematological parameters than the others including the comparison group. These results suggest that BA may have a potential herbal therapeutic agents that can mitigate cyclophosphamide-induced hematotoxicity manifestations.

Abstract

This research delves into the school-parent partnership model at Terang Nusantara Elementary School in Bandung, to support educational success. Grounded in Ki Hadjar Dewantara's concept of the Education Tri-Center, this study highlights the importance of synergy between schools and parents in influencing students' academic achievement and character development. Employing qualitative methods, such as observation, interviews, and document analysis, this research reveals the dynamics of planning, implementation, and the impact of such partnerships. The results indicate that effective collaboration between schools and parents enhances academic performance and student-character development. This partnership is characterized by open communication and active participation from both parties. However, the study also identifies challenges, such as differing expectations, time constraints, and language and cultural barriers that impede the partnership. This research recommends strategies to overcome these obstacles, including improved communication, joint training, and adapting partnership activities to accommodate cultural diversity. The implications are the importance of schools recognizing and involving parents as strategic partners in the educational process.

Abstract

The role of coal in energy supply is in line with the increasing demand for power plant construction in several regions driven by economic growth and income. The purpose of this study is to determine collaborative governance in the development of malapari plants as biodiesel feedstock. This research uses qualitative research to understand social phenomena with a normative legal approach that prioritizes literature studies, data collection activities from various literature both from libraries and other places. The results obtained are education and training to farmers on sustainable agricultural practices and natural resource management is also a precondition that must be done. This knowledge can help farmers adopt practices that support the sustainable growth of malapari plants. Effective pest and disease management strategies are needed to protect malapari plants from attacks that can reduce crop yields. The conclusion of this study is that training and education programs need to be expanded to increase farmers' understanding of sustainable agricultural practices, processing technology, and agrofuel management. This can help improve the quality and quantity of malapari crop yields. Socialization to the community regarding the benefits of developing malapari plants as biofuels and their positive impacts on the environment needs to be strengthened. Public acceptance is considered to be able to support the growth of this industry.

Abstract

The condition of STEMI (ST Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction) can resemble infectious diseases of the heart such as Myopericarditis with the presence of dominant gastrointestinal symptoms, minimal demographic characteristics and cardiovascular risk factors as well as limited supporting examinations, making it a challenge in determining the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Case Report: 31 year old male with complaints of pain in the pit of the stomach that was difficult to describe and discomfort that extended to the chest that was not specific, a history of fever for 2 days, nausea and vomiting and a history of the habit of only consuming alcohol without smoking and the patient doing routine physical activities. ECG examination showed sinus rhythm with ST segment elevation in the precordial (anterior and lateral), inferior and LAD (Left Axis Deviation) leads as well as PR segment depression, Troponin I increased and Echocardiography showed a hypokinetic pattern in the posterior and septal segments of the heart. Fibrinolytics improved the patient's symptoms but not serial EKGs, giving rise to suspicion of STEMI which resembles Myopericarditis. Conclusion: Differential diagnosis with the possibility of myopericarditis was based on clinical findings and minimal risk factors, history of the course of the disease, ECG examination, Cardiac Biomarkers, TTE and Coronary Angiography. The patient underwent a Coronary Angiography examination with normal results, thereby ruling out a diagnosis of STEMI. The diagnostic overlap between STEMI and Myopericarditis was difficult to evaluate.
