Cakupan Kajian Jurnal Signifie menyediakan platform akademik bagi para profesional dan peneliti untuk menyumbangkan karyanya di bidang penelitian bahasa, sastra, dan pengajarannya. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to analyze the stylistics or style of language used by the author in composing his story into an interesting short story. The source of the data in this study is a short story entitled No Singing in the Bathroom by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. The method used is a qualitative approach. The results of this study can be explained that there are data that have been found both lexically, grammatically, and rhetorically. When viewed from the lexical elements, the most common aspect of word complexity is simple words that have denotative meanings. Whereas in the aspect of the type of words, verbal words are more dominant because this short story deals more with the activities that are happening. From the grammatical elements, there are types of phrases, clauses, and sentences that appear in the short story. Meanwhile, in the rhetorical element, several aspects were found, such as figurative language, elemental manipulation, and imagery.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTYoutube is a website that contains videos about the lives of artists, celebrities and even amateur videos. This website enables its users to watch, upload and share videos publicly. Apart from being just entertainment, the videos that are uploaded also vary widely, ranging from education, tutorials, education and even cases that are still hot. On social media YouTube is equipped with a comment feature, the public can freely comment on every video uploaded by the account owner. The remarks given by netizens can be in the form of positive utterances or negative ones whose purpose is to ridicule and bring down. This cannot be avoided because the realm of social media is so broad and free. Like the murder case that occurred some time ago which was carried out by a police officer with the rank of Inspector General of Police named Ferdi Sambo, the videos shown on several YouTube accounts are filled with netizen comments, not least of which are hate speech against Ferdi Sambo. In videos uploaded by several YouTube accounts, they always receive responses from netizens whose comments globally are about hate speech in the form of, 1) provocation 2) inciting 3) insults, and even 4) defamation.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by problems, namely students find it difficult to develop ideas, ideas, creativity in writing negotiation texts into narrative form,, students do not understand the material to convert negotiation texts to narrative forms delivered Teachers, students still have many mistakes in writing negotiation texts into narrative form. This study aims to describe, whichaffects the use of the Write Around learning model on the ability to translate negotiation texts into narrative form for phase E students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman. This type of research is quantitative research using Pre-experimental methods. The design of this study is One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign. The sample of this study was phase XE.1 students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman totaling 36 students. The data was analyzed and then a t-test was carried out to determine the effect of the Write Around learning model on the ability to translate negotiation texts into narrative form for phase E students. This research data is a worksheet of the ability to write narrative texts for phase E students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman before and after the use of the Write Around learning model. This study can be summed up as follows. First, the ability to translate negotiation texts into narrative form for phase E students before using the Write Around learning model obtained an average score of 65.74 in the range of 56-65% with qualifications that are sufficient (C). Second, the ability to translate negotiation texts into narrative form for phase E students after using the Write Around learning model obtained an average score of 76.38 in the range of 76-85% with good qualifications (B). Third, there is a significant influence on the use of the Write Around learning model on the ability to translate negotiation texts into narrative form for phase E students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman because tcount>ttable (4.05 >1.66).]]>

<![CDATA[The lyrics of the song written by Ebiet G. Ade entitled I Want to Go Home are very interesting to study because they contain aesthetic and stylistic values. This research aims to identify the aesthetic meaning and stylistic meaning in the lyrics of the song written by Ebiet G. Ade entitled I Want to Go Home. This research uses two methods, namely aesthetic model research and linguistic style research. The research results show that Ebiet G. Ade's songs contain ontological beauty and psychological aspects, stylistic definitions, and also aesthetic value. Its meaning refers to representing a person's longing to return home to the Creator. reflects a person's longing for the Creator.]]>

<![CDATA[The research entitled "The Personality of the Character Topan as a Single Parent in the Film Tampan Tailor" aims to describe the personality psychology of the character Topan as a single parent in the film Tampan Tailor and the personality of the character Topan as a single parent in the film Tampan Tailor. This study uses a review of literary psychology Abraham Maslow with an objective approach. Based on the results of data analysis, all the psychological needs of the topan character can be fulfilled, both basic needs, namely physiological and the highest needs, namely self-actualization. The personality of the topan character as a single parent has the characteristics of knowing himself, keeping promises, firm, forgiving, hardworking, efficient, patient, reckless, humorous, and compassionate.]]>
