Jurnal Paradigma (Pemberdayaan & Pengabdian Masyarakat) merupakan wadah publikasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bidang kesehatan. Artikel-artikel yang disajikan dalam jurnal ini merupakan hasil implementasi atau penerapan berbagai disiplin ilmu kesehatan seperti keperawatan, kebidanan, analis medis, serta kesehatan masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan serta memberikan pelayanan pada masyarakat, Lembaga Penelitian & Pengabdian Masyarakat STIKes Ngudia Husada Madura sebagai pengelola jurnal, menerbitkan dua kali edisi jurnal dalam setahun yakni pada bulan April dan Oktober. <![CDATA[Stunting merupakan kondisi kekurangan gizi kronis yang terjadi pada saat periode kritis dari proses tumbuh dan kembang mulai janin, dimana hasil pengukuran panjang/tinggi badan menurut umur (TB/U atau PB/U) menunjukkan < -2 SD s.d. < -3 SD dari standar WHO (Permenkes RI, 2020). Stunting pada anak merupakan masalah yang cukup serius karena berkaitan dengan risiko terjadinya kesakitan di masa yang akan datang serta sulitnya untuk mencapai perkembangan fisik dan kognitif yang optimal. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang pemberian MPASI dengan menggunakan leafleat pada ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita. Yang diharapkan ibu-ibu dapat memberikan MPASI sehingga balita bisa tercegah dari terjadinya stunting pada balita.]]>

<![CDATA[Perineal wound care can be done to avoid delays in the wound, one of which is by using boiled water from binahong leaves or boiled water from red betel leaves which have an antibiotic effect. After being evaluated from survey data, the more effective way to dry perineal wounds is binahong leaves because mothers who use boiled water of binahong have perfectly dry perineal sutures within 4 days while mothers who use boiled water of betel leaves have perfectly dry perineal sutures within 7 days.]]>

<![CDATA[Tinea unguinum is a common condition that begins as a yellow spot or spot under the tip of the fingernail or toenail. A severe fungal infection can cause the nail to blacken, thicken, and crumble at the edges. This infection can affect some nails but usually not all nails are infected. If the fungal infection of the nail is still relatively mild, it does not require treatment. But sometimes a nail fungus infection can cause pain and thickening of the nail that requires treatment and medication. Nail infections can attack someone who works or is in direct contact with a humid and dirty environment such as farmers and. Farming is one of the livelihoods of the people in Tragah Village, Bangkalaan Regency. Farmers work in the fields/fields that are in contact with soil, water and mud for a long time without using gloves and boots to protect their hands and feet from soil, water and mud so that the hands and feet of farmers are moist and even farmers rarely pay attention to the cleanliness of their nails so that they often leave the toenails on the thumb filled with dirt and the fingernails turn dark, thickened, the nails are barely shaped like normal even some of the growers have a foul smell. From the problem seen, the writer suspects that the farmer's nails are infected with fungus. The purpose of this study is to determine the fungal infection that causes systemic disease. <![CDATA[The direct causes of nutritional problems are infectious diseases and lack of balanced nutrition. Incomplete basic immunization and not getting exclusive breastfeeding are factors for infection. Immunization plays an important role in the formation of a toddler's immune system, children who get complete immunization have a stronger immune system, breastfeeding for less than 6 months is more at risk than toddlers who are breastfed for 6 months against infections and malnutrition, loss of body minerals, and slow growth. lead to malnutrition and stunting in children. <![CDATA[Pregnancy is a physiological condition. During pregnancy there is discomfort which is a result of the physiological adaptation process of the mother's body system to her pregnancy. Discomfort that is still within normal limits can turn out to be abnormal due to the mother's unpreparedness for her pregnancy. Healthy pregnant women will have an impact on optimal fetal development. Labor preparation also starts from pregnancy. Prental yoga and relaxation is a promotive and preventive effort to improve the health of the mother so that she can adapt to physical and psychological changes during pregnancy and prepare for labor. <![CDATA[Indonesia is one of the countries affected by the Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19) pandemic with a fluctuating number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 (new cases). The provision of maternal services during the pandemic needs to be a concern to avoid an increase in maternal morbidity and mortality, especially when there are restrictions on maternal health services. This can be a factor causing anxiety that occurs in pregnant women. The purpose of this PKM is to increase awareness of pregnant women to check their pregnancy and the output targets to be achieved are and articles. This Community Service method is health education to the community about antenatal care during the covid 19 pandemic. The participants are posyandu cadres, pregnant women and women of childbearing age as many as 30 people at the Posyandu Dusun Mudinan II Pajurangan Village, Gending District, Probolinggo Regency. The results of the PKM activity are that participants understand and are able to explain again about antenatal care during the Covid 19 pandemic and have reduced their worries about getting their pregnancy checked. <![CDATA[IDHS data (2012) showed that 32.1% of girls and 36.5 boys aged 15-19 years started dating before the age of 15, around 0.7% of girls and 4.5% of boys aged 15-19 years had pre-marital sex, 7% of adolescent girls 15-19 years had given birth, and 2.8% of adolescents aged 15-19 years were involved in drug abuse. The role of adolescent students is important in this regard as providers of Adolescent Reproductive Health (KRR) education in Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of this community service activity is to educate young students about the importance of reproductive health. The method used is by way of counseling. Partners with the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School in Probolinggo. The results obtained are that most of the young students understand the importance of reproductive health. To further maximize educational outcomes, it is highly recommended to conduct studies related to the obstacles faced by adolescents in carrying out reproductive care so that they can build more appropriate programs. <![CDATA[Pondok pesantren is a gathering place for many people where it is susceptible to disease transmission. Staphylococcus aureus is a normal flora in humans, but in high amounts it can cause mild to systemic skin infections. Turmeric is a plant containing curcumin grown in Indonesia, used as a spice in cooking and medicine. Curcumin has antibacterial activity of Gram negative and Gram positive by denaturing and damaging cell membranes so that it interferes with metabolic processes.The problem faced is the lack of knowledge about the benefits of turmeric as an antimicrobial at Hidayatullah Al Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School, the solution to the problem is to provide socialization of the benefits of turmeric as an antimicrobial. The method used is lecture and discussion. The purpose of providing information about the benefits of turmeric as an anti-microbial. The implication of the activity is an increase in the knowledge of santriwati, with the average score of the pretest and posttest being 50.67 and 78.00. <![CDATA[The paradigm of population problem management and development oriented to population control and decreased fertility, then turned into a broader approach, namely focusing on reproductive health and efforts to fulfill reproductive rights. Thus the treatment of maternal and child health, family planning (KB), adolescent reproductive health, prevention and control of sexually transmitted infections (IMS) including HIV/ AIDS and elderly reproductive health (elderly) undergo changes. This community service activity begins with sharing a leaflet and video education about the health of pregnant women and toddlers by conducting health education about the benefits of conducting an integrated ANC and also how to do an integrated ANC in pregnant women in the working area of the Kebomas Puskesmas Gresik Regency. <![CDATA[Pulmonary TB disease suffered by individuals in their lives will have a negative impact, both physically, mentally and socially. TB also has other negative impacts, socially stigmatized and even ostracized by the community. According to Miller (2018), rejection and shame often prevent people from seeking treatment and completing treatment. So far, the implementation of care, treatment and prevention of TB transmission is mostly done to the sufferer himself. The patient must be responsible for all his care and treatment for his recovery. The involvement of family members is still not optimal or only as PMO (Drug Swallowing Supervisor).
