Abstract

Vehicle repair services require most customers to spend extra time visiting a repair shop. Customers generally also have to wait in line for a very long time, so that service becomes less effective and efficient. This research aims to design a UI/UX prototype of the mobile-based Hi Service application so that it is hoped that it can make it easier to manage call services or home service for vehicle repairs by directly visiting the customer's home. The research method used is the Design Thinking approach which has five process stages in meeting user needs. UI/UX prototype testing is carried out using usability testing with a System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment. The research results show that the Hi Service application prototype test received a score of 82 and was included in the excellent category or rate. The study shows that the Design Thinking approach to the prototype created is able to meet user needs. Apart from that, testing the prototype through usability testing with SUS assessment showed a positive impact on the user experience when running the UI/UX prototype of the Hi Service application.

Abstract

The potential that exists in each village has its own attraction for local residents. The potential of a village can make it easier for its residents and even other people to see or know about the advantages that exist in the village. In the digital era, almost all types of work use information systems to facilitate the service process, one of which is service to the community. Villages have an obligation to provide good services to the community. The aim of this research is to develop a village potential website to make it easier for residents or communities who want to access village potential information. The information system development method used is the waterfall method with the PHP programming language. Supporting software used includes Power Designer, localhost XAMPP server, and MySQL database. The research results show that the village potential information system created is very useful in helping to increase insight and empower local communities. Local people and the general public can easily access information via the website. With an application that can facilitate access to information quickly, precisely and accurately, it is hoped that it can provide more optimal services for village communities.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and design a website-based management information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method for the Standupindo Malang Arts Community. Standupindo is a stand-up comedy performing arts community that requires an efficient information system to manage members, events and other related information. The RAD method is used because of its ability to speed up the system development process by involving users in every stage of development. This research includes analyzing user needs in the Standupindo community, as well as designing a system based on the results of this analysis. The resulting information system will allow community members to register, access information about upcoming events, submit stand-up comedy performance material, and interact with other members via the website platform. Thus, this system will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Standupindo community management. It is hoped that the results of this research will make a positive contribution to the development of the stand-up comedy performing arts community in Malang, as well as become an example for similar communities in implementing a website-based management information system using the RAD method.

Abstract

Cocoa is an important agricultural commodity in Indonesia which contributes to the economy with a production share of 15.68%. Cocoa diseases, such as Black Pod Rot and Pod Borer, are very detrimental to farmers. So it is necessary to build a recognition model that can classify automatically with high performance. Unfortunately the collected dataset is very unbalanced, and this is an additional challenge as it can reduce recognition performance. This study proposes disease recognition in cocoa images using the EfficientNet-B4 Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model with fine-tuning. In this study also used seven kinds of data augmentation. The result is that the proposed CNN model has a high accuracy of 97.3% which is an increase of about 7.4% compared to the original model, at relatively few epochs. In addition, the proposed model is compared with other CNN models such as Xception, InceptionV3, ResNet, DenseNet, and EfficientNet, using the same approach, namely fine-tuning and epoch. The result is that the proposed method is superior to other models. This confirms that the proposed CNN model can also work better on unbalanced data.

Abstract

The quality of the WiFi network is very important in supporting the increasing use of video conferencing applications in educational environments. This research aims to analyze the comparative quality of WiFi networks in campus environments in video conference applications based on the Quality of Service (QoS) variable. Research was conducted on three video conferencing applications, namely Zoom, Google Meet, and Jitsi. Network quality is measured from four QoS variables including throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter. The research results show that the application that runs best on the campus wireless network is Google Meet, with the highest average index among the other applications tested, namely 3.91 or Excellent. It is hoped that this research will provide useful guidance for educational institutions to improve video conferencing services, as well as ensure that students and staff can communicate remotely effectively without significant obstacles due to WiFi network quality problems. With a better understanding of network quality and application needs, institutions can make improvements to network infrastructure and provide recommendations for selecting video conferencing applications that suit existing network conditions.

Abstract

Payroll can be defined as a form of service system used to make salary payments every month. With a payroll system, the process from start to finish when salaries are paid can run according to what each employee expects. At MTS Nurul Khoiroh, the current payroll system has several obstacles, where the teacher payroll process is still done manually. Payroll data is still calculated and recorded using the Microsoft Excel program and is not in the form of a database, so it is susceptible to loss and errors in data recapitulation at the end of the month. Based on these problems, an application will be created to handle the processing of salary calculation data which is the right of teachers and employees, starting from the process of calculating the basic salary to calculating allowances. The application was built using the waterfall method and with the PHP programming language. With this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for school treasurers to manage data while also helping to increase the efficiency of the payroll process so that it becomes faster and more accurate.
