Abstract

Advances in technology and information encourage the development of payment methods using electronic devices (e-payment) to exchange goods and services without needing cash. This study examines the factors that influence the interest of MSMEs in Malang City, especially in the culinary field, in using Sharia e-payments by expanding the TAM model. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The survey used a structural equation model (SEM) with the Amos software test tool (Versi 26). One hundred twenty-five respondents were collected as a test. The results show that PS has an insignificant effect on PU and PEOU. PEOU influences PU. PFC has a significant negative effect on Islamic e-payment IU. PU has no significant effect on the IU of Sharia e-payments. Meanwhile, PEOU influences IU Sharia e-payments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of (1) Leadership Style on Employee Performance, (2) Leadership Style on Work Motivation, (3) Work Motivation on Employee Performance, (4) Leadership Style on Employee Performance mediated by Work Motivation, (5) Style Leadership on Work Culture, (6) Work Culture on Employee Performance and (7) Leadership Style on Employee Performance mediated by Work Culture. Sampling uses Slovin Formula resulted in 84 respondents from a total of 107 employees of Transportation Service Department Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection uses questionnaires. This research uses Data Quality Test and Hierarchical Regression Analysis. The study results show that Leadership Style plays a positive role on Employee Performance. Leadership Style plays a positive role on Work Motivation. Work Motivation plays a positive role on Employee Performance and is expressed as a Mediator variable on the effect of Leadership Style on Employee Performance. Leadership style has no effect on employee performance. Work Culture is declared not a mediator on the influence of Leadership Style on Employee Performance.

Abstract

Shopee has successfully positioned itself as a key e-commerce platform in Indonesia, with a significant and growing number of users. It is worth mentioning that a considerable proportion of Shopee's customer base comprises students from Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Asia Malang. The phenomenon of young students actively engaging in internet buying is widely acknowledged. The primary objective of this research is to examine the influence of information quality on decision-making processes related to online purchases, specifically focusing on the platform of Shopee. The study utilised qualitative research methodologies, specifically interviews and document analysis, to investigate a sample of 10 students enrolled in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Institute of Asia Malang. The findings of the study indicate that there are four primary determinants that exert an influence on consumers' decision-making process while engaging in online purchases on the Shopee platform. These elements include the ratings assigned to the stores, the descriptions provided for the products, the reviews received by the stores, and the prices associated with the products. The value of high-quality information in the e-commerce arena is underscored by its potential to facilitate educated purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the implementation of conservative accounting from the perspective of financial statements which include tax incentives, debt contracts, and political costs as research variables in manufacturing companies. The research population is the manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a total of 178 companies and a purposive sample obtained by 78 companies with data collection techniques using documentation. Mulvariate regression techniques is the analytical tool used, and the results obtained indicate that tax incentives have a significant positive effect on conservative accounting. By contrast, debt contracts and political costs have no significant effect on conservative accounting. This paper provides encouragement to investors when evaluating financial statement changes related to conservatism, especially those relating to tax incentive accounts, debt convenant, and political costs.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah Word of Mouth (WOM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) dan Kepercayaan pada pengelola berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Anggota Berpartisipasi Aktif, dan apakah Kepercayaan pada pengelola memediasi WOM dan Customer CRM terhadap Keputusan berpartisipasi aktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik sampling yang digunakan Purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Teknik analisa data menggunakan Analisa jalur dengan PLS-SEM yang memanfaatkan program SMART PLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwaWOM berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepercayaan pada pengelola dan keputusan berpartisipasi aktif. CRM berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepercayaan pada pengelola, akan tetapi tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan berpartisipasi aktif. Kepercayaan pada pengelola berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan berpartisipasi aktif. Kepercayaan pada pengelola memediasi secara parsial pengaruh word of mouth terhadap keputusan anggota berpartisipasi aktif. Kepercayaan pada pengelola tidak memediasi pengaruh Customer Relationship Management terhadap keputusan anggota berpartisipasi aktif.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of E-WOM and Price Discount on Impulse Buying among e-commerce users in Pekanbaru, with a focus on students in Pekanbaru. The research sample includes 140 respondents actively engaged in impulsive buying behavior. The data analysis method employed is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of Smart PLS version 3. The research findings indicate that E-WOM does not have a significant impact on Impulse Buying by e-commerce users in Pekanbaru. However, Price Discount has a positive and significant influence on Impulse Buying among e-commerce users in Pekanbaru. Furthermore, based on the determination test, it can be concluded that concurrently, both E-WOM and Price Discount affect Impulse Buying among e-commerce users in Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Dalam hal pemenuhan kebutuhan pangannya, masyarakat cenderung memilih untuk mengkonsumsi makanan cepat saji dan makanan cepat saji salah satu alternatifnya, misalnya produk mie instan 'Cup'. Penelitian ini melihat efektivitas Brand Communication yang difokuskan pada merek Mie Instan Cup Pop Mie dan juga Mie Sedaap Cup dengan studi banding menggunakan metode Customer Response Index (CRI). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian komparatif yang membandingkan dua objek dan dilakukan dengan analisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah masyarakat di Kecamatan Cakung Jakarta Timur yang mengkonsumsi produk Pop Mie dan Sedaap Cup dengan sampel akhir sebanyak 100 responden dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling dan rumus perhitungan slovinā€™. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan statistik dengan metode CRI yang dikembangkan dari tahapan pendekatan terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas komunikasi merek Mie Pop Mie Cup Instan cukup efektif karena nilai CRI lebih besar 44 persen dari total missing response pada setiap tahapan CRI. Kondisi ini lebih baik dari brand communication pada Mie Sedaap dengan nilai CRI sebesar 43 persen walaupun efektivitas brand communication tidak jauh berbeda dengan Pop Mie namun terdapat missing response yang signifikan pada tahap interest sebesar 23 persen sehingga dapat mempengaruhi tindakan pembelian.

Abstract

The research focuses on the influence of talent management on organizational performance, mediated organizational commitment and moderation of transformational leadership. This study is a quantitative study that distributes questionnaires to employees of electronics manufacturing companies in Batam City of 352 respondents, analyzed using the SmartPLS method. The results of the research show that talent management has a significant influence on organizational performance through direct influence tests and its influence becomes insignificant and not mediated by organizational commitment. Organizational commitments, consisting of the dimensions of affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment also have a significant impact on organizational performance, suggesting that employees who are committed to the organization tend to make a better contribution to the company's performance. Transformational leadership has a significant influence on organizational performance directly, when tested as a moderation variable its influence becomes insignificant. This research gives some recommendations; the importance of employee development through training and talent development to improve company performance.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze earnings management actions from the perspective of Insan Kamil, characterized as an ideal and perfect human figure. In the portrayal of Insan Kamil, there exist strength, insight, deeds, and wisdom. The interpretative method is employed to analyze earnings management actions ontologically, epistemologically, and axiologically. From an ontological standpoint, earnings management is regarded as a science that can be observed and measured based on empirical evidence. In the epistemological context, Insan Kamil is considered to have a profound understanding of ethical and moral values, such as honesty, integrity, transparency, and adherence to professional ethical standards. Earnings management practices involving manipulation or concealment of information are viewed as violations of these values. Axiologically, earnings management actions may be considered as a potential failure to align rationality with moral values, unless such practices do not violate principles of morality and ethics.

Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals are in line with Indonesia's vision and mission. One of the 17 SDGs, is zero poverty. Poverty gets the most attention because all the SDGs are some kind of effort to achieve the goal of "no poverty". With the help of this research, it is helpful that the realization of the success factors of the sustainable development goals without poverty can be known as the critical success factors. Data on the unemployment rate, Human Development Index, inflation, and poverty are collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The official website was used to collect data covering six provinces in Java Island for ten years. Panel data regression analysis is the analysis method used in this study. In every province in Java, one of the most influential factors in reducing poverty is the Human Development Index or the quality of each individual.
