Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out the role of the principal's leadership in improving the quality of human resources in the school. The problem of human resources in various schools is that the quality is not optimal and evenly distributed. The method and type of data collection in this research is library research by collecting books, journals and the results of previous studies that support research themes, including literature on leadership which includes the role of the principal's leadership, quality improvement, and human resources at school. The results of this study indicate that the leadership variable is the most important and urgent variable in the effort to create or realize quality education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the branding of pre-employed Islamic boarding schools in strengthening the identity of the pesantren which was carried out by the Nurul Qarnain Sukowonojember Islamic Boarding School. The data in this study is primary data. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This research focuses intensively on one particular object that is studied as a case. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The results showed that the branding of the Nurul Qarnain Prenuer Islamic Boarding School was with attributes, benefits, values, personality and users as the beneficiaries of the existence of the Nurul Qarnain Preamble Islamic Boarding School. Basically, the Nurul Qarnain Islamic Boarding School already has pre-employment boarding school branding in the community, this is evidenced by the large number of students who are at the Nurul Qarnain Islamic Boarding School. On the other hand, what has been done by Nurul Qarnain Islamic Boarding School in branding pre-employed boarding schools is more in the nature of development by sharpening specific aspects of the field of activity units which are supported by several specialization programs so as to strengthen the identity of the pesantren.

Abstract

The importance of the knowledge of Akidah Akhlak in human life, stimulates innovation and reform in the concept of teaching and learning in Akidah Akhlak subjects. The study analyzes and identifies Direct Instruction learning strategies in Akidah Akhlak subjects at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level. This study is a review of Direct Instruction-based learning in Madrasah Aliyah. This study involved various sources related to the concept of Akidah Akhlak learning that took place at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level based on the Direct Instruction strategy and Bandura's theory of behavior. This study resulted in a finding that the application of Direct Instruction (DI) in the Akidah Akhlak subject at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level could be carried out in three stages, namely (a) explaining the objectives; (b) preparing students by arranging the subject of the previous lesson or giving a number of questions to students; (c) presentations and introductions, in which the teacher delivers presentations and material for Akidah Akhlak lessons that have been prepared in accordance with a predetermined curriculum; (d) perform guided exercises; and (e) ensure and ensure student understanding and provide feedback. Thus, the indicator for the application of Direct Instruction is that the learning process in Akidah Akhlak subjects will effectively lead students to declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge.

Abstract

The Wafa method is a comprehensive, easy and fun learning Al-Qur'an in learning the Qur'an. The learning context aims to simplify and at the same time accelerate the students 'learning method of the Qur'an. The focus of this research is how to implement the Wafa method in improving the students' ability to memorize Al-Qur'an at MI Fathania Sumberanyar Paiton Probolinggo This study used a qualitative approach with a multicasus study design. documentation. Data analysis techniques include data  reduction, data  presentation, drawing conclusions, checking the validity of the findings carried out by extension of participation: tringulation  techniques  and  observation  persistence.  Research information is the principal, wafa coordinator, teachers and students. The  results showed that  The  implementation of  the  wafa method in improving the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an at MI Fathania, this student starts with memorizing juz 30 of Surah An-Naba backwards, if you  have  memorized  juz  30,  then  proceed  with  memorizing  juz  29 starting from the letter Al-Mulk backwards . Abstract

The development of technology and information brings progress in all lines of life, including education. Lecturers must be able to keep up with the times by changing conventional learning strategies with innovative learning strategies. Several choices of innovative learning strategies based on the student centered learning approach include small group discussions, roleplay and simulation, discovery learning, cooperative learning, contextual learning, problem based learning, collaborative learning, and so on. The overall learning strategy places students or students at the center of learning, who are independent and active in finding learning resources, and are able to identify their own learning needs.
