Abstract

Conflicts in the Okbab District of the Bintang Mountains district still often occur between community groups. In 1 year there can be several conflicts which are sometimes caused by things that are not clear. Based on these facts, this study aims to describe conflict management carried out on groups in conflict in Okbab District, Bintang Mountains Regency. This research was conducted by collecting data through library research, field research in the form of observation, in-depth interviews and document research. The results of this study indicate that conflict resolution is carried out starting from the conflict actors and also the local government so that resolution occurs. The youths were talked to and given the opportunity to improve themselves and their relationship with the conflicting youth groups, which occurred between the community group of Kampung Markum and the community of the village of Tupoplyom. The District Government and the village government mediate so that this problem reaches a point of peace. In this case, the government, which has a role as a facilitator, has succeeded in resolving conflicts between these youth groups little by little. From this research, it was found that several efforts were made by the government, both the district government and the village government in dealing with the problem of conflict between these youth groups.

Abstract

Estrogen deficiency can be overcome by hormone replacement therapy, but it causes various unwanted effects in the long term. Phytoestrogens meet the criteria for having estrogen-like activity. Sweet potato root (Dioscorea alata L.) as a phytoestrogen was used in this study to anticipate bone loss (osteoporosis) in postmenopausal women. This study aims to determine the potential of uwi in bone density in rats by looking at the decrease in the number of osteoclasts. Laboratory experimental research method with a research design using RAL (Rak Complete) with five treatments and six replications. The results showed that the average number of osteoclasts from the negative control group was 4.67; the positive control of 2.83; by offering uwi extract at a dose of 600 milligrams/200 grams. Rat BB 2.16; presented Uwi extract dose of 800 milligrams/200 grams of rat B.B. as much as 2.83; presented Uwi extract at a dose of 1000 milligrams/200 grams Rat BB 1.0; and 2.5 . false group. This study concludes that Uwi is likely to maintain bone density in rats with osteoporosis by decreasing the number of osteoclasts.

Abstract

Abstract

A blind and deaf child has a natural power to relate to other people even in situations and conditions of physical limitations. In relating and communicating with a blind and deaf child, teachers and caregivers need to recognize the child's modality. This study aimed to explore the experience of accompanying and educating a blind and deaf child. This qualitative research used an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach and a case study using the interview method to collect data. The case studied was the experience of a teacher in accompanying and educating a blind and deaf student at the Helen Keller Special School (SLB G/AB) Helen Keller, Wirobrajan, Yogyakarta. Helen Keller's thoughts on relationships with children with special needs became the framework for analyzing research data. The results of the study showed that blind and deaf children related to other people by using the senses of touch, smell, and taste. These three senses were modalities and bridges for teachers to build relationships with blind and deaf children in the process of learning and to live together. Affective and empathic attention and relationships become the basis for assisting and educating blind and deaf children.

This research is part of qualitative research that uses descriptive methods using data derived from various research results and previous studies that still have relevance to this research. This study found that the law of carrying out Friday prayers in a place that is not a mosque during a pandemic is permissible. This law refers to various verses of the Qur’an, hadiths, and rules in the science of fiqh to various opinions of scholars. However, if there is a mosque that is still close to and can accommodate the entire congregation after the distance between the prayer rows, it is more advisable to be able to pray in that mosque.

Abstract

This research will be carried out to see how land law exists in Indonesia after the implementation of regional autonomy. The central government’s efforts to grant autonomy to local or district governments after the reforms are implemented are aimed at providing fast and appropriate services to the community concerning land affairs. This research will be carried out by conducting a document study on autonomy in the land sector, which then impacts agrarian law. This study found that the Basic Regulations on Agrarian Principles have the principle of authority in the land sector, which has a centralized nature and must change by itself. Local governments need to be able to provide good services in the land sector in the current era of regional autonomy.

Abstract

The capacity of a business to get new clients and keep the ones they already have is directly correlated to its chances of surviving in the market. Compared to its rivals, a firm has a competitive advantage if it is in a stronger position to attract and retain consumers and defend itself against other businesses' aggressive activities. Therefore, the quality of the service will then become a strategic component that will offer an edge over the competition. The purpose of this essay is to investigate the connection between providing high-quality service and gaining a competitive advantage for major businesses operating in the market. This investigation combines a qualitative strategy with a descriptive research methodology. According to the findings of the study, providing superior customer service is the most effective method for businesses to differentiate themselves from their competitors and build up their competitive advantages. As a result, businesses need to transform themselves into learning and knowledge-creating organizations that enable the implementation of continuous improvement plans with incredible speed and efficiency, constantly striving to gain benefits and thus have a superior orientation to clients.

Abstract

One indicator of a company's financial position is the company's Profitability. In this case, Profitability is more vital than profit or profit because high profits are not because a firm size has been doing work efficiently. In addition, industries that have high profits can more easily find investors who invest in developing their businesses. On the other hand, low Profitability makes it difficult for companies to get investors. Therefore, Profitability affects a company's survival, so the aim of this research is to empirically understand the effect of capital structure, liquidity, firm size, and inventory turnover on Profitability either partially or simultaneously in manufacturing companies in various industrial sectors listed on the BEI. During 2018-2020. The implementation of this research uses a type of causal research to understand the relationship between cause and effect on two or more variables. The sample in the implementation of this research is the various industrial sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018-2020 through the purposive sampling method. 13 companies meet the research sample criteria, so the sample is 39 financial reporting. This research method uses multiple regression analysis. The research results indicate a significant effect of the liquidity variable (Current Ratio) and firm size variable (Firm Size) on Profitability. At the same time, the variables of capital structure (Debt to Equity Ratio) and inventory turnover (Inventory Turnover Ratio) do not significantly affect Profitability. Simultaneously there is the influence of the variables of capital structure (Debt to Equity Ratio), liquidity (Current Ratio), firm size (Firm Size), and inventory turnover (Inventory Turnover Ratio) on Profitability.
