Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze social inequality, cultural diversity from the point of view of Sociology of Education. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach. The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from library research. The type of data presentation in this study uses a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that integration must be won day by day with the exercise, by all, of solidarity and the will to negotiate, with the fight against all forms of exclusion and for a true equality of opportunities and civic and political rights. An active and unequivocal will is required on both sides to resolve the inevitable conflicts that will cause the diversity of values and customs, but above all social and political inequality. In the integration process, it is a question of jointly creating a new social space, which will probably be governed by new norms, born of negotiation and the joint creativity of the members of the majority group and those belonging to the minority group. Integration, creativity and negotiation are, therefore, inseparable concepts.

Abstract

The distinction proposed by Ernst Mayr and François Jacob between functional biology and evolutionary biology is a fundamental key for a clear and conclusive treatment of two problems that, recurrently, are placed in the field of the Philosophy of Biology: that which concerns the possible character teleological of biological explanations and that relative to the autonomy of Biology in relation to Physics and Chemistry. Without supporting an alternative solution for any of these problems, we present that opposition showing its relevance for the treatment of such issues. Our idea is that they should not be raised without specifying which of the two domains of life sciences we are referring to.

Abstract

The elderly are unavoidably at a higher risk of disease. Alzheimer's disease is one of the most common conditions that affect the elderly. Alzheimer's disease is a brain disease caused by cell damage that results in memory and thinking ability loss as well as behavioral changes. Three satellites are used in this process, with two forming an imaginary line from the user and the third determining the user's position. This module can be integrated by a variety of antennas connected to the U.FL connector to capture satellite signals. The response from the module is sent from the coordinate data from Latitude from the test site based on the tests that have been completed. Due to the limited ability to capture the 800 L SIM module signal in comparison to smartphones commonly used today, network connection problems in closed rooms or places far from signal transmitting towers are the most frequently encountered during testing.

Abstract

A world system theorist, Immanuel Wallerstein attempts to describe a modern world system covering economic, political and cultural areas. In his theory, he argues that the conflicts between the countries which determine the world order in these areas are not true conflicts because the modern world system is built on a capitalist economic basis. He regards powerful states such as the United States of America, Russia, Japan and European States, which seem to be engaged in a competition, as global collaborators of a single modern world system. At the head of this cooperation is the United States of America and the world system is based on the hegemony of the United States of America. Wallerstein maintains that the modern world system is fragile due to economic crises that are likely to arise and regards the period we are in as a post-liberalism period where this hegemony has begun to collapse.

Abstract

The fundamental aim of this paper is to lay out essential elements concerning classical economic theory about employment, and compare them with the Keynesian approach. In other words, this document shows a comparative-contrasting study of the classical and more modern theoretical claims, concerning employment. Since employment is a crucial variable related to economic growth and development, this paper is focused on a revision of conceptual issues concerning such a critical indicator. The approach presented here is important not only for professional economists but also for other social scientists. One of the major conclusions of this study is referred to the evidence that the Keynesian “General Theory” is not precisely the most completed and updated theoretical approach to solve problems of employment, but it has a particular richness in its contents that is important to rescue; in fact that theory was extremely useful to undertake unemployment and economic growth problems during the Great Recession in the United States.

Abstract

Indonesia receives a lot of sunlight throughout the year. This then causes large profits to be obtained with the Development of a Solar Power Plant Planning (PLTS) that uses a photovoltaic (PV) system. This research then aims to look at how the use of PV systems as a solar power generation system becomes alternative energy in the future. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach through a literature study of various previous studies and studies that discuss the planning of PV-type solar PV in Indonesia. This study found that the PLN network can be integrated and benefit PLTS that are on-grid and use solar modules. Then various public facilities with a flat surface and wide enough can be a good enough place to be a PV type PV mini-grid. Then the ratio of power that PLN has issued for PJU is 76.66%, while the ratio of solar panels is 23.3%. Unfortunately, the main ingredients for making PV mini-grid are still imported, which makes it challenging to develop PV-type PV mini-grid.

Abstract

Abstract

Normal labor is a complex physical and emotional experience for a mother, with pain being a major element in this process. The interaction between labor pain and maternal anxiety levels is an aspect that requires in-depth understanding, given its influence on the psychophysical well-being of both mother and baby. Although the scientific literature has highlighted the importance of pain and anxiety management during labor, comprehensive studies that consider the psychophysiological and subjective perceptual influences on this dynamic interaction are limited. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the relationship between pain in normal labor and maternal anxiety levels through a multivariable approach. This research method uses a quantitative approach with an analytic observational research type. The research design was conducted prospectively. This research method involves maternal respondents who experience normal labor, with data collection through measuring anxiety levels using standardized questionnaires and psychophysiological analysis using objectively measured parameters. In addition, a multivariable approach was used to analyze the complexity of the interaction between the variables involved. The sample size was 100 laboring mothers, randomly selected from the population of mothers who met the inclusion criteria. The population was mothers giving birth at TPMB Midwife Delima in Bandung City. Using cluster sampling, only 40 pomegranate midwives (10 sub-districts) were taken from a total of 127 pomegranate midwives from 30 sub-districts. The results showed that the average level of pain during labor reached 6.8 with an average duration of 8 hours. The average maternal anxiety level reached 55 on a scale of 0-100. A significant correlation was found between pain and anxiety (r = 0.68, p < 0.05), while psychophysiological influences such as frequency of uterine contractions and blood pressure also played a role in the experience of pain. Social support was also shown to influence anxiety levels (p = 0.005). These findings illustrate the complexity of interactions between psychophysiological and social aspects in the context of normal labor, providing a basis for the development of more targeted intervention strategies in the management of maternal pain and anxiety. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a significant relationship between pain in normal labor and maternal anxiety levels. Psychophysiological influences, such as frequency of uterine contractions and blood pressure, as well as social support, play an important role in determining the mother's experience during labor. Therefore, increased attention to pain management and provision of adequate social support may be key to reducing maternal anxiety levels. A suggestion for health practitioners is to strengthen efforts to integrate holistic pain management strategies and enhance aspects of social support during normal labor, in the hope of improving the mother's overall emotional and physical well-being.
