Abstract

Self awareness is a person's ability to understand feelings, actions, reasons, motivations and thoughts regarding how they should behave towards themselves and their environment. However, the phenomenon that occurs in students of the Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Program at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang turns out that not all students have high self awareness. Therefore, need to be made to help these students increase their self awareness, namely through group guidance services using modeling techniques. So, this research is entitled "Effectiveness of Group Guidance Using Modeling Techniques to Increase Self Awareness of Islamic Counseling Guidance Students". which aims to determine the level of self awareness of students and to find out how effective the guidance group is with modeling techniques to increase self-awareness. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research through a one group pretest-posttest design. The total population was 78 students and there were 8 students as research samples taken using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use questionnaires. The results of the research show that the level of self awareness of students in the Islamic Counseling Guidance study program is predominantly in the medium category with a value of M(SD) = 90.346(18.570). Data analysis techniques using the Wilcoxon test obtained Zscore = -2.521 with N-Gain Score (0.7614). So, the results of this research state that group guidance using modeling techniques is effective in increasing self-awareness of Islamic Counseling Guidance students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang with a high effectiveness category

Abstract

This research is entitled Application of the Empty Chair Technique in Reducing Toxic Relationships (Case Study of Client "P" at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation). A person experiencing a toxic relationship can be seen from excessive suspicion, likes to bring up mistakes, is always looked down upon with all his shortcomings, has poor communication, has a feeling of not wanting to be defeated, is always used as an outlet for anger, there are threats and relationships. The aim of this research is first, to find out the description of the toxic relationship of client "P' at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation. Second, to find out the application of the empty chair technique in reducing toxic relations with client "P" at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation. In this research, the author used field research, a qualitative approach, and used a case study research method. The subject of this research is client "P'. The tools for collecting data in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Research results, 1) client "P''s household is classified as a toxic relationship. Where "P" clients often feel excessively suspicious, always bring up their partner's mistakes, don't want to be defeated, have poor communication, always vent their anger at their partner, there are threats in the relationship. 2) The application of the empty chair technique consists of 3 stages. Initial stage, implementation stage and termination stage. The results of applying the empty chair technique enable client "P" to build a good relationship with their partner.

Abstract

Basically, adjustment involves individuals and their environment, this is also the case with inmates, this is because inmates who have just entered are required to be able to adapt to environmental conditions, individuals, and the rules that apply in prison. According to Picken, new inmates experience higher levels of stress. Therefore, to help solve adjustment problems for inmates in prison, researchers applied assertive adaptive techniques with group counseling services. Therefore, the researcher chose the title "Application of Group Counseling with Assertive Adaptive Techniques to Overcome Self-Adjustment". This research was carried out at the Class IIA Palembang Women's Correctional Institution (Lapas Perempuan). The aim of this research is to find out the description of the application of group counseling using assertive adaptive techniques and to find out the description of the self-adjustment of female inmates after implementing group counseling with assertive adaptive techniques. Researchers use qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation, and use data analysis techniques such as data reduction, namely selecting data that is not useful then presenting the data that has been collected and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that group counseling using the assertive adaptive technique was successfully applied to the inmates and after implementing group counseling with the assertive adaptive technique, some of the inmates were able to slowly interact and adapt themselves to new people. However, it is true that some of the inmates only follow and close themselves off from new people and are not yet able to adapt.

Abstract

Muslims really uphold ethics in various matters, one of which is ethics in relationships between people. The process of providing an understanding of social ethics must be understood well, especially for children who are studying in educational or religious institutions. This research aims to find out a picture of the understanding of students' social ethics before implementing group guidance with self-management techniques, to find out how group guidance with self-management techniques is applied in increasing understanding of students' social ethics, to find out the picture after group guidance with self-management techniques is given in increasing understanding. student social ethics. This research is qualitative research, the subjects of this research are 1st grade students of MTs Pondok Pesantren Al-Amalul Khair Palembang. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Next, the data is presented in the form of words, then the data is analyzed and conclusions are drawn, so that it is easy to understand for both researchers and people who read. The research results obtained are: First, the picture before group guidance was carried out using self-management techniques: The understanding is only limited to the children's knowledge, so it cannot be said to understand well. Second, the implementation of group guidance using self-management techniques: carried out in 4 stages, namely the preparation stage, formation stage, transition stage, and activity stage and carried out in 4 meetings with different material for each meeting. Third, the picture after group guidance using self-management techniques: children can understand the material provided through group guidance, but cannot explain the material given by the researcher again.
