Abstract

This study aims to analyze the service quality of PDAM Tirta Danau Tempe in Wajo Regency using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method with the House of Quality (HoQ) approach. The research methods used include qualitative data collection through interviews and observations, and quantitative data through questionnaires filled out by 30 respondents from 650 PDAM customers. Validity and reliability tests were conducted to ensure data consistency, while HoQ analysis was used to link customer desires with the quality of service provided. The results show that the most important service attributes for customers are the PDAM's good reputation, timely office operation time, and effective communication by staff. However, some aspects such as the company's compliance with service promises and the availability of a comfortable waiting room need to be improved. The conclusion of this study is that there is a need to improve service quality through a thorough evaluation of these attributes to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen their loyalty. Technical recommendations include improving employee work ethics, handling customer complaints, and more appropriate employee placement to improve PDAM service performance.

Abstract

Export means transporting or bringing goods and services from one country to another coun-try. In order to evaluate how strong export competitiveness is and identify market opportunities, specific calculation methods and approaches regarding comparative advantage are needed. One of them is using the "revealed comparative advanced" (RCA) method, which provides an accu-rate picture of how competitive a product is in the international market. One measuring tool is the Balassa index, where a value of more than one (>1) indicates a strong level of competitive-ness for export products to the destination country. Conversely, a value less than one (<1) indi-cates low competitiveness and sales difficulties in that market. The calculation results show that Timor Leste has an average Balassa index of 60.685, followed by Brunei Darussalam with a Balassa index value of 12.526 and Malaysia of 4.987 and with a stable value, thus indicating good potential for exporters who want to market coffee products. roast them to the country. However, Thailand has little potential with a Balassa index of 1.944. In contrast, Singapore and the Philippines have an average Balassa index below 1, indicating there is no great potential as a profitable export market.

Abstract

Workshop PT. XYZ is a part of a company that carries out activities in the field of maintenance and repair, especially hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication equipment. These workshop activities include welding activities, operating machine tools and other mechanical work. This study aims to determine the value of the potential risk of occupational hazards and the level of risk of potential occupational hazards at PT. XYZ in the workshop area. This study uses an approach with the HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) method to determine the value of the risk of occupational hazards and the level of risk of potential occupational hazards. The results obtained by using HIRA (hazard identification and risk assessment) were obtained as many as 29 risks which were classified based on potential hazards, namely 28% extreme risk, 41% high risk, moderate risk of 31% and there is no low risk. Improvement recommendations are made based on the level of extreme risk (extreme risk) and high risk (high risk) to prevent and reduce the level of risk of work accidents in the workshop area, while for the moderate risk level, the mitigation recommendation is to supervise the work and make an SWI (simplified working instruction) to make it easier for workers to understand safe and correct work procedures.
