Abstract

The purposes of this research are to: (1) Analyze the using of Ignition Booster to the torque and engine power on Yamaha Mio Soul motorcycle 2010. (2) Analyze the variety of spark plug to the torque and engine power on Yamaha Mio Soul motorcycle 2010. Based on the research can be concluded that: (1) The using of Ignition Booster could increase torque and engine power on wheel axis. Its because of the using of Ignition Booster could repair ignition system, So the torque and engine power on wheel axis increase. (2) The using of variety spark plug could increase torque and engine power on wheel axis. Its because of better electrode design on spark plug could increase fire fragment quality, so the torque and engine power on wheel axis increase. (3) The using of Ignition Booster and variety of spark plug could increase torque and engine power on wheel axis. Its because of the using of Ignition Booster could repair combustion system and better electrode design on spark plug could increase fire fragment quality, so the torque and engine power on wheel axis increase. (4) Maximum torque obtained with use ignition booster and Iridium Spark plug, which is 4.95 ft.lbs at 6000 rpm. Maximum Engine Power obtained with use ignition booster and Iridium Spark plug, which is 6.49 ft.lbs at 8000 rpm.

Abstract

The objectives of this research will be : (1) improving the student activity in learning by using Cooperative Learning Group Investigation Model in Vocational Basic Competence Lesson of Light Vehicle Automotive  Engineering; (2) understanding the result of teaching learning by using Cooperative Learning Group Investigation Model. This study was a classroom action research method which this research was implemented in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely the planning stage, the action stage, the observation stage and reflection phase. Subjects of research were students of tenth grade level in SMK Negeri 1 Mondokan Sragen. The data were collected from teacher and students. The techniques of collecting data that the author used were observation, interview and test. The validity of data used the triangulation of sources. The data were analyzed by using descriptive comparative and analytic of qualitative data. The result of this research showed that the use of cooperative learning group investigation model could improve student of activity and the result of learning in cooling technique learning. It could be seen by the increasing student activity and the result of learning in each cycle. At the initial value average,  the average activity is 20.17% and the average learning result is 57.18. After the first cycle of action, student activity increased to 56.53%  and average learning result increased to 69.68. While the second cycle, student activity increased to 80.11% and average learning result increased to 77.97.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Pengaruh intensitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar, (2) Pengaruh pola belajar terhadap prestasi belajar, (3) Pengaruh intensitas belajar dan pola belajar terhadap prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Otomotif di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta tahun ajaran 2011-2012. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode angket dan metode dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji analisis regresi linear ganda, yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji independensi. Simpulan bahwa intensitas belajar dan pola belajar secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran kompetensi dasar otomotif.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) To determine the effectchemical composition and microstructure of arearepairweldingresultswithoxyacetylene, TIGandMIG weld methodon aluminium castwheels. (2) To determine thehardnessand impact toughnessathigh of arearepairweldingresultswithoxyacetylene, TIGandMIG weld methodon aluminium castwheels. The research has donein the laboratory ofINLASTEKSurakarta. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative uses experimental methods.The Object  in this research used arealuminium castwheels. Techniques of data analysis in this research using descriptive data analysis that is directly observed experimental results are then analyzed and summing up the results of the research. As an input parameter in analyzing the data include:the testing of chemical composition, microstructure, hardnessandimpact. From  the research, we can conclude that the chemical compositionon aluminium castwheelsincludingalloyAluminum Silicon, because the element Si alloyisthe largest, ie7.38%Si. The highesthardness number ofoxyacetyleneweldingresultsby54.80BHNinthe weld areaand38.69BHNinthe HAZ. The lowesthardness number ofMIGweldingresultsby44.18BHNinthe weld areaand TIG welding results by 38.69BHNinthe HAZ. The highestimpact number ofresults TIG welding with impact number average0.114joules /mm². The lowestimpact number ofresultsoxy-acetylene welding with impact number average0.085joules/mm².

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) The relationship between learning achiverments of micro teaching lecture to teacher?s interest at 6th semester mechanical engineering education student?s JPTK FKIP UNS academic year 2011 / 2012. (2) The relationship between learning motivation to teacher?s interest at 6th semester mechanical engineering education student?s JPTK FKIP UNS academic year 2011 / 2012. (3) The interaction relationship between lerning achiverments of micro teaching lecture and learning motivation to teacher?s interest at 6th semester mechanical engineering education student?s JPTK FKIP UNS academic year 2011  2012. This research is a quantitative description, the study population was Semester VI student Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Teacher Education UNS Surakarta academic year 2011/2012, amounting to 56 students, samples were taken proportionate stratified random sampling technique some 48 students and the instruments used in this study is a questionnaire spreading . Respondents trials with 25 students. Validity test was done by using Pearson Product Moment correlation, while the reliability test used Cronbach alpha formula. To determine the effect of one predictor Achievement Lecture Micro Teaching, Learning and Motivation to Become a Teacher Interests technique used simple regression analysis, whereas to determine the interaction relationships Subject Learning Achievement Motivation Micro Teaching and Learning jointly to Become Teachers used techniques Interests multiple regression analysis. The level of significance was set at the analysis of 5%. Based on this research can be concluded as follows: (1) there is a positive association between the Achievement Lecture Micro Teaching with an interest to become a teacher in the VI semester students JPTK Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Teacher Education UNS Academic Year 2011/2012 indicated rx1y value = 1.202% while rtab5% = 0.284, rx1y > rtab5% or 1.202 > 0.284, (2) there is a positive relationship Interests Motivation to Become a Master in Education VI semester students JPTK FKIP UNS Mechanical Engineering Academic Year 2011/2012 as indicated by the value rx1y = 0.700, rtab5% = 0.284 and rx1y > rtab5% or 0.700 > 0.284, (3) there is interaction relationship Lecture Learning Achievement Motivation Micro Teaching and Learning jointly against Interests Being a Teacher at Education VI semester students JPTK FKIP UNS Mechanical Engineering Academic Year 2011/2012. It is shown from the calculation of the numerator df = 2, denominator df = 45 and a significance level of 5% is obtained Fhitung> F table or 24.57 > 3.20. Donations relative achievement courses micro teaching interests became professor of 5.99% and the relative contribution of motivation to learn with interest in becoming teachers of 94.00%. While effective contribution achievement micro teaching subjects with teacher nenjadi interest at 3.13% and the effective contribution of motivation to learn with interest at 49.11% as a teacher

Abstract

ABSTRACT Technological developments require prospective role of educators to keep up-dated with the knowledge and emerging technologies. Moreover, the learn lessons for Auto CAD. Given the limited time allocated to-face lectures CAD. the necessary learning media to overcome it. Designing learning video for practical subjects Auto CAD 2 dimension. Producting learning media appropriate for use as a media of learning in the classroom in the subject of Auto CAD 2 dimension. The process of product design in the form of video consists of three stages that are pra production, production and post production. In this research videos that have been produced packed with Adobe Flash CS5 to be more structured in understanding thecontains in the video. Due to the leaerning media has been made function during a one semester. Data collection techniques form of learning media assessment by questionnaires using experts. The experts included media specialists, instructional specialists and expert substance. The format of the questionnaire by semantik differensial. The analysis of data by descriptive quantitative with five criteria scores in this research, that are: very good, good, fair, less and much less. Base on results of data analysis it can be concluded that: feasibility learning media divided into three aspects: (1) aspects of substance obtain an average value of 4,167. According to the assessment criteria, then this learning media aspects of substance classified as good. (2) instructional aspect to obtain an average value of 3.58. According to the assessment criteria, it has been seen from the learning media instructional aspect is good. (3) Aspects of the media get the average value of 4.027. According to the assessment criteria, it has been seen from media?s aspect that the learning media is good. So the value of the final average learning media Auto CAD 2 Dimension engineering education is 3,924. So according to the assessment criteria, learning media is quite good.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) The Correlation Teaching Experience with Performance of Teacher?s;(2) The Correlation The Teacher's Perception in Respect of Principal's Leadership with Teachers Performance;(3) The Correlation Teaching Experience and Teacher?s Perceptions In Respect Of Principal Leadership Simultaneously with Teacher?s Performance;(4) A Stronger Correlation between The Teaching Experience and Teacher?s Perceptions of Principal Leadership with Teacher?s Performance. The population of this research were the teacher?s of private vocational school as much as 199 teacher?s in Boyolali district. The sample of this research were 60 teacher?s and respondents for the trial were 35 teacher?s. Sampling study uses proportional random sampling technique. Data collection uses questionnaire for variable of teaching experience, teacher?s perceptions of principal?s leadership and teacher?s performance. To test the validity, the reseach used product moment approach. While, Alpha formula was used to test the reliability of the instrument. Analysis of data was used analytical of Pearson Product Moment correlation techniques. The reseach needs to be done requirements analysis testing before, namely: (1) Normality Test, (2) Linearity Test, (3) Multicollinearity Test. The results show: (1) There is a positive and significant correlation of  teaching experience with teacher performance. It is based on the results of the first hypothesis test with the product moment correlation analysis rcount> rtable (0.551> 0.254) at the 5% significance level, (2) There is a positive and significant correlation of  in respect of principal leadership and teacher?s performance. It is based on hypothesis test results both with the product moment correlation analysis rcount> rtable (0.495> 0.254) at the 5% significance level, (3) There is a positive correlation of teaching experience and teacher?s perceptions in respect of principal leadership and teacher?s performance. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with multiple correlation analysis of the obtained results Fcount> Ftable (24.495> 3.159) at the 5% significance level, (4) The effective contribution of 26.1% of teaching experience and teacher?s perceptions of principal leadership 20.1%. This results indicate that the association of teaching experience and teacher?s performance is stronger than the correlation the teacher?s perception of the principal's leadership and teacher?s performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) the effect of endmill cutter primary angel to the roughness level of steel ST 40 machining result by Tosuro CNC Milling controlled by GSK 983 Ma-H. (2) The effect of the endmill cutter flute amount to the roughness level of steel ST 40 machining result by Tosuro CNC Milling controlled by GSK 983 Ma-H. (3) a combination of primary angel and the flute amount of endmill cutter which produces the smallest level of roughness. This study is an experiment that uses two-factor variables (angle incision and the number of eyes slice endmill cutter) and one dependent variable (the level of surface roughness). This study was conducted at the Machining Practices Laboratory of SMK Warga Surakarta for the formation of Test Objects and implementation of the machining process using Tosuro CNC Milling controlled by GSK Ma-H. The level of the surface roughness conducted at Engineering Materials Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Diploma, The Faculty of Engineering, GadjahMada University. The research method used in this study is an experimental method with analytic descriptive analytical techniques. The results showed that there was primary angel and the flute amount of endmill cutter effect to the roughness level of steel ST 40 machining result by Tosuro CNC Milling controlled by GSK 983 Ma-H. The smallest combination of primary angel and the flute amount of endmill cutter toward the roughness level of steel ST 40 machining results process by TS 218 CNC Milling is on the interaction between primary angel of 5° and 4 flutes of  endmill cutter is equal to 0,2013 µm and the greatest of the roughness level of steel ST 40 machining results process by TS 218 CNC Milling is on the interaction between primary angel of 10° and 2 flutes of endmill cutter is equal to 0,4691 µm. The more the amount of endmill cutter the smaller the level of the roughness.

Abstract

Serat ijuk dapat digunakan sebagai bahan gesek alternatif kampas rem sepeda motor. Dalam penelitian ini, pada komposisi serat ijuk 55%, serbuk kuningan 15%, MgO 20% dan resin 10% mempunyai nilai kekerasan yang paling mendekati dengan kampas rem pembanding yaitu sebesar 19,5 HBN. Pada spesimen kampas rem 4 dengan komposisi serat ijuk 25%, serbuk kuningan 45%, MgO 20% dan resin 10% mempunyai nilai keausan yang paling mendekati dengan kampas rem pembanding mempunyai yaitu sebesar 0,087 x 10-7 mm2/kg. Dengan melakukan variasi komposisi akan didapat nilai keausan dan kekerasan yang paling optimum. Variasi komposisi serat ijuk sangat berpengaruh terhadap nilai keausan dan nilai kekerasan spesimen kampas rem.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang: (1) pelaksanaan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008  di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta, (2) faktor-faktor yang mendukung pelaksanaan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008 di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta, (3) faktor-faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008 di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta, (4) manfaat pelaksanaan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008 di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif evaluatif model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, dan Product). Teknik pengumpulan  data dengan angket atau kuisioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah validitas isi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui analisis rata-rata yang dinilai berdasarkan kriteria penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Kualitas pelaksanaan sistem ISO 9001:2008 di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta tergolong tinggi. (2) Faktor-faktor yang mendukung pelaksanaan sistem ISO 9001:2008  di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta yaitu (a) Pada evaluasi konteks faktor yang mendukung antara lain : (i) Kondisi orang tua; (ii) Kebijakan dalam penerapan sistem ISO 9001:2008; (b) Pada evaluasi input faktor yang mendukung antara lain: (i) sistem Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB); (ii) kesiapan siswa; (iii) kesiapan guru; (iv) kesiapan kepala sekolah; (v) kesiapan Wakil Manajemen Mutu ; (vi) kurikulum yang relevan dengan Dunia Usaha/Dunia Industri (DU/DI); (vii) kesiapan sarana dan prasarana; (viii) kesiapan media pengajaran; (ix) kesiapan keuangan; (c) Pada evaluasi proses faktor yang mendukung antara lain: (i) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (ii) Peran kepala sekolah; (iii) Pemberdayaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM); (iv) Pelaksanaan administrasi; (v) Pengendalian terhadap pelanggaran siswa; (vi) Kerjasama dengan Dunia Usaha/Dunia Industri (DU/DI); (vii) Pelaksanaan penilaian hasil belajar; (d) Pada evaluasi produk faktor yang mendukung antara lain: (i) Kualitas siswa; (ii) Kuantitas siswa; (iii) Kepuasan siswa. (3) Faktor-faktor yang menghambat dalam pelaksanaan sistem ISO 9001:2008 adalah (1) Pemberdayaan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) karyawan yang rendah. (4) Pelaksanaan sistem ISO 9001:2008 di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta memberikan manfaat yang tinggi antara lain: (a) meningkatkan kualitas lulusan; (b) meningkatkan kuantitas lulusan; (c) meningkatkan kepuasan siswa.
