Abstract

Appoli (Boyolali Organic Rice Farmers Alliance) is an organization that functions to provide a forum for farmers in joint marketing and improving the quality of agricultural products. In developing Appoli's product marketing, there are several problems including the low competitiveness of products, especially packaging that is not yet marketable and their limited marketing reach. From the packaging side, the problem faced is the limitations of the packaging equipment, do not have the product and brand labels that characterize and characterize the products from Apoli. Website-based or digital-based information and marketing systems are needed to reach a wider market, not only regional markets but are expected to be able to reach markets outside the region or nationally. To overcome these problems, several activities were carried out, namely: 1) introduction of vacuum packaging equipment and the addition of plastic packaging 2) introduction of attractive and safe product packaging design 3) label and brand improvement 4) development of Appoli's product marketing website. It is expected that from a number of planned activities to be introduced, Appoli is able to increase product competitiveness and expand its marketing reach through digital marketing so that it can ultimately increase the income of the farming community.

Abstract

Sasaran program kegiatan ini adalah UKM “Prinx Mas” dan “Pring Gedhe”. Tujuan utama dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah  meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produk, meningkatkan tingkat kenyamanan sarana/fasilitas yang dimiliki, dan meningkatkan jaringan pemasaran produk UKM mitra untuk tingkat nasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menerapkan kegiatan bantuan teknologi serta pelatihan dan pendampingan. Bantuan teknologi berupa peralatan produksi (teknologi tepat guna), penataan showroom, updating website dan peningkatan kemampuan mitra dengan memberikan berbagai pelatihan dan pendampingan. Peralatan teknologi yang diperbantukan kepada mitra adalah mesin gerinda multi fungsi, dan oven pengering. Sedangkan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan adalah pelatihan proses fabrikasi dan  pelatihan penyusunan kontrak drafting. Hasil yang telah dicapai adalah (1) UKM Prinx Mas mengalami peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 11%, peningkatan asset sebesar 4,5%, dan peningkatan omset sebesar 8,75%; (2) UKM Pring Gedhe mengalami peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 8,8%, peningkatan asset sebesar 4,8%, dan peningkatan omset sebesar 7,3%.

Abstract

AbstractIn Indonesia, corn is only used as a staple food. Other parts of corn, such as cob and husk, are only used for animal feed, or even thrown away. In addition to reduce corn husk waste, this corn husk brooch products also aims to open up new jobs for the local community, especially for housewives and college students. The implementation method of this product includes three phases, namely the pre-production phase, the production phase, and the post-production phase. For marketing, until now the promotion of corn husk (klobot) brooch products has been carried out online and offline. Online promotion has been done through various social media, such as twitter, facebook, instagram, and whatsapp. For offline promotions, the brooch product has been marketed through endorsement of friends and relatives, sold in campus areas and the surrounding environment, and marketed through resellers, namely by entrusting products to be promoted and resold by other sellers through online and direct stores. Keyword: brooch products, cornhusk, kelobot

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the abilities and skills of Small Medium Enterprise (SME) women in Kiringan, Canden, Jetis, Bantul. Those women produce herbal drink and vend it around the villages. This financial management training was to determine the selling price of their products appropriately and use accounting easily in their business activities so that they can prepare simple financial reports.The implementation of Community Service activities was carried out using lecture, tutorial and discussion methods. The activities were divided into fourth times. The first activity was discussing with the headman of the village to decide what training that useful to the citizens, especially for the women entrepreneur who were herbal drink seller. The second activity was to ensure the implementation for community service activity. Furthermore, the team also discussed and finalized the training material. The forward activity was the implementation of community activity. The last activity was a discussion about the financial statement, and the team created the Whatsapp messenger to support this activity

Abstract

Hasil analisis situasi yang ditemukan pada kebanyakan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Indonesia adalah rendahnya daya dukung eksport. Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini dirancang untuk membantu UKM di Kab. Bantul, DI Yogyakarta mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Kegiatan PPM ini dirancang selama tiga tahun. Pada tahun pertama, telah dilaksanakan kegiatan: (1) peningkatkan kapasitas dan kualitas produksi; (2) perbaikan manajemen produksi; (3) peningkatan keterampilan karyawan; dan (4) perbaikan mekanisme kerja. Hasilnya berupa: (1) terwujud satu unit mesin oven pengering dengan ukuran bangunan PxLxT= 5,5 x 4 x 3 m3 dan tersedia sebuah mesin potong karton (paper cutting machine) type DQ 201A, kapasitas 940 x 1000 x 120 mm; (2) terlaksana pelatihan manajemen produksi bagi seluruh karyawan sebanyak 17 orang; (3) terlaksana pelatihan maintenance mesin-mesin produksi bagi operator yang diikuti oleh 6 orang peserta; dan (4) terlaksana pelatihan motivasi kerja karyawan yang diikuti oleh 32 orang karyawan. Pada tahun kedua, telah dilaksanakan kegiatan: (1) pengadaan genset; (2) pembuatan instalasi pelapisan cairan pengawet; (3) pelatihan pendampingan pembuatan pembukuan yang rapi; (4) penataan show room; (5) pembuatan website; (6) pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan internet; (7) pelatihan  dan pendampingan proses e-marketing; serta (8) pembuatan desain brosur katalog produk. Dari kegiatan dua tahun yang sudah dilaksanakan, pada Iyan Handicraft: (1) terjadi peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 7,4%; (2) terjadi penambahan tenaga kerja 1 orang untuk bagian produksi; (3) mengalami peningkatan omset sebesar 9,5%; dan (4) mengalami peningkatan asset sebesar 4,8%. Sedangkan pada Anis Craft: (1) mengalami peningkatan produktivitas sebesar  10,9%; (2) mampu menambah tenaga kerja lepas 2 orang untuk kerja lembur; (3) mengalami peningkatan omset sekitar 10,4%; serta (4) mengalami peningkatan asset sebesar 5,3%.
