Abstract

The problem in this research is there is awareness that evangelism missions are the churches essential.  But in the implementation of this missions are depended on how the churches interpret the Bible fundamental verses about those missions. The church interpretation itself is depended on the interpretation of their pastors. The Bible interpretation which is understood by the Pastor is touched to the congregation and then it will be generally implemented in congregation’s daily life or in the church programs.

Abstract

Bringing the corpse of a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church to the church before burial ceremony has been a discussion among members of the church itself.  Some agree but others not.  Those who agreeare divided into two groups based on criteria established by each congregation. The activityto bring the corpse to the church before burial ceremony does not have a theological basis in the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy.  Moreover, they also do not provide provisions relating to it as well as positive or negative impact if the body is brought to the church or not. Therefore, the organization of Seventh-day Adventists Church should give clear guidance to the criteria that needs to be followed by all churches under Seventh-day Adventists organization to occur alignment in addressing this issue.  When it turns out that decision being handed out to each congregation, then, let these three important things need to be considered, namely: (1) the person who died must be a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventists Church.  This is evidenced by a baptist certificate or a statement from the family or Seventh-day Adventists Church that requests, or membership record; (2) the person diesin a reasonble state (not suicide, drug addicts, etc.); (3) the corpse that can be brought to the church is not just limited to the pastor, church elder, church founders, old people, but to the younger age group also should be given the opportunity.

Abstract

Religious pluralism exist because of the many religions and beliefs adopted in this world.  In this case, the Christian Education organized by the Seventh-day Adventist Church both in the church and education at schools and universities not only transfer the knowledge of science and technology but also motivate learners to practice it through IMTAK (faith piety), in order to cultivate good deeds which is the core of the doctrine or the teachings of the church itself.  As an example of the ambivalence between the Adventist Church's teachings and practices, is the thinking that only members of the Adventist church alone are savevd when the church has never taught that way.  Here is the role of Christian education, to educate students that everybody can be saved when they have faith in Jesus and His teachings.

Abstract

Conflict is not related with good or bad, rich or poor, educated or not educated.  Conflict is simply a fact of life.  Always felt and seen in every aspect of life.  Where does conflict begin?  Does it occur simultaneously with the creation of this world?  Does God create the conflict in this world?  The Bible clearly shows it all.  1. God never created the conflict.  2. The conflict originated in heaven through pride and jealousy an angel known as Lucifer against God.  3. This conflict also brought him into the world that is the work of God's creation.  4. As long as there is still sin in this world then the conflict will continue to exist.

Abstract

The Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church considersherself as the Remnant Church based on Revelation 12:17, which says that the church keep “the commandments of God” and have “the testimony of Jesus.” According to Revelation 19:10, “the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.  Therefore, the Spirit of Prophecy is an integral part of the SDA Church. Bandung Adventist Academy is a school that is located in the heart of Bandung city, and has a good number of SDA students.  This article tries to find the perception on understanding of the spirit of prophecy in that school, where at the end it is found that generally the students have good understandings regarding the spirit of prophecy.
