Abstract

Preaching the gospel is one of the main tasks of the believers in Jesus Christ. It clearly has been mandated by the Lord Jesus to his disciples in the Gospel of Matthew 28:19 - 20, Acts 1:8, so they went to preach the gospel to every creature, baptizing those who believe, and continue to teach gospel to them to grow in their faith in His grace. And preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be bargained good or not good condition must be submitted (II Timothy 4:2). Because the gospel is a message of joy for everyone and is universal, then there are other things more important and urgent that gives eternal life other than the gospel of Jesus Christ (John 3:16). So proclaim the Gospel is no longer affected by how many physical blessings received, but how much dedication do pastors and church activists over the response of the grace given to him freely.

Abstract

Young generations are church motors.  They are often called as the strengths for today and leaders for tomorrow.  However, there is a great danger of losing the young generations that will weaken the church.  The church building may be present, but it may be empty.  The program may be held, but the effect cannot be felt.  Therefore, the church should make a movement to proctect these young generations from the negative cultures, so that the church will not lose its young generations that will be the leaders of tomorrow.

Abstract

Karl Barth dikenal dengan teologineo-ortodohox.  Di dalam teologi ini Barth berpendapat bahwa Tuhan itu tidak diketahui dan begitu tinggi.Satu-satunya wahyu dari Tuhan adalah inkarnasi dari Yesus.Wahyu Tuhan kepada manusia melalui Firman-Nya dikomunikasikan dengan medium-medium utama; pertama, melalui Yesus Kritsus, kedua melalui Alkitab, dan ketiga melalui gereja, adalah konteks dari hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan dimana Alkitab dikupas dan Yesus diungkapkan. Roh Kudus adalah kuasa yang mempersatukan antara Bapa dengan Anak di dalam kehidupan Trinitas mempengaruhi persatuan diantara Tuhan dan kemanusiaan di dalam Kristus dan mempersatukan umat-umat percaya di dalam Kristus. Gambar Allah dapat ditemukan dalam hubungan dan tidak ditemukan dalam apa yang manusia dapat miliki.

Abstract

Bible discusses thoroughly about the conflicts that occurred between the fellow children of God in biblical times it was written.  Nothing is covered up, everything is open to the clearly written by the writers of the Bible with the intent to be learned by all of God's people in every age, when they face the conflict. Is it a sin Conflict?  This is a question often asked by the people of God, so many of God's people cannot put themselves properly in accordance with the will of God when they are engaged or see a conflict occurred.  Above questions need to be answered with firmness in accordance with the biblical view. The Bible answers these questions clearly: 1. Conflict is as old as sin, and will continue to exist as long as there is sin in the world; 2. Conflict is not a sin. When we unite our will with God's will, but we will certainly be in conflict with the people who are not doing the will of God while defending the will of God; 3. In a conflict situation God has asked us to make it as an opportunity to serve and show the love of God; 4. The Bible gives us 10 advices very precise that we can use when we are in a conflict situation.

Abstract

ʾělōhîm(elohim) and ʾǎdōnāy (adonay)are titles of the being or element who is worshiped by human beings in the Old Testament.  Old Testament writers used these two words which refer to the being or element that is worshiped by Israel and pagan nations.  The context of the words itself will determine whether the being or element who is worshiped is the One who created the heavens and earth (Gen. 1 and 2; Exod. 20:11) or not.  If it is yes, the translation in Indonesian is Allah or Tuhan (English: God or Lord), but if not, it will be allah or tuhan (English: god or lord). Yehwāh (Yahweh) is the Name of ʾělōhîm (elohim)or ǎdōnāy (adonay)who created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1 and 2; Exod. 20:11).  Names in the Hebrew Bible are never translated.  Then, no need to translate the word Yehwāh (Yahweh)into TUHAN or ALLAH (English: LORD or GOD), on the contrary, it should be left alone or just make its transliteration: YAHWEH or YAH or YEHWAH.

Abstract

Keimamatan Kristus adalah sebuah topik yang hanya sedikit tercatat dalam Alkitab.  Di dalam Perjanjian Baru, keimamatan Kristus hanya ditemukan dalam kitab Ibrani, di mana Yesus disebut sebagai imam atau imam besar.  Imam besar adalah figur penting dalam agama Yahudi.  Di dalam setiap sistem keagamaan, imam (khususnya mengenai Imam besar) memiliki peran kunci untuk melaksanakan upacara-upacara. Bahkan pengaruhnya bukan sekedar dalam hal ibadah, tetapi kepada semua aspek dalam kehidupan umat percaya.  Kekristenan, sebagai sebuah kelanjutan dan penerima warisan dari kepercayaan Yahudi, juga memiliki keimamatan khusus.  Sama seperti imam besar pada sistem lama, maka di dalam agama “baru” atau Israel rohani, imam adalah figur penting.  Di dalam artikel ini penulis akan menjawab pertanyaan, apakah pengertian dari gereja Kristen mula-mula mengenai doktrin keimamatan Kristus?  Ditemukan bahwa pada abad pertama, keimamatan memiliki peran penting dalam masyarakat Mediterania Timur.  Bagi orang Yunani dan Yahudi, keimamatan adalah elemen utama dalam keagamaan.  Oleh sebab itu, keimamatan, membentuk dasar dari konsep keimamatan Kristen.
