A citizen of thetop layer community is not too many when compared with the middle layer andbottom layer communities in the church. Abstract

Abstract

Remind the mistakes of others is not an easy matter. Misunderstandingscan be occurring with one another, and peace became far from our lives; there will behatred, conflict, hurt, and others. Therefore, in reminding the mistakes of others, wemust have a strong foundation of truth, and everything must be based on love.Apostle Paul in his letter in Rome 13:10 “Love worked no ill to his neighbor:therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” We will remind the mistakes of othersbecause we love it, not because you want to drop or criticizing. With reminded, thatperson may can be convert back to the right path and be saved.Jesus has given the appropriate steps in solving problems among God’speople, it is recorded in Matthew 18:5-17. The stages are as follows: Privateconversation (Matthew 18:15); The talk in front of a witness (Matthew 18:16); Thetalk in front of the Church (Matthew 18: 17a); Of view of him as a man who does notknow God (Matius18: 17b). The first step is to meet in person is the mostfundamental stage and it seems a simple, but is actually the most important steps inthe reconciliation process in solving problems. There are 5 things that are important in implementing the first step, namely:1. Let us treat the guilty as our brother, and not regard them as enemies; 2. When wecome to him, make sure that there is a problem that absolutely must be resolved; 3.Go in private or alone to those who are innocent, not representing it through others;4. Speak to him in the guidance of the Holy Spirit through the words humble andgentle spirit. Success in carrying out Jesus’ command, to speak to people who areguilty in a proper way, will bring blessings to ourselves, to guilty person and to thechurch of God.

Abstract

The quality of leadership and spirituality of a pastor has a great influence inimproving the quality of spirituality and services of members which he is serving. When a pastor shows a good quality leadership and spirituality, then a member of thechurch will also grow in their spirituality and services. As a result, the church willgrow, especially in increasing the number of baptism. This is a formula that can notbe ignored by any pastor if he wants to achieve success in his ministry particularly inpromoting spirituality, ministry and number of baptism in his congregation. One of constraints faced today is the presence of pastors who haveproblems both in their quality of leadership and spirituality. This occurs because thepastors have not fully understand the significance of ministerial calling itself aswritten in Psalm 23: 1-6, Ezekiel 34: 1-30 and John 10: 1-15. When a pastor repeatsand realizes that he has received a ministerial calling in the beginning of his ministry, then it will help to increase his quality of leadership and spirituality. Therefore, a pastor demanded two things: commit to the ministerial calling(mission of a pastor, church and organization]); to give positive leadership andspiritual influences (to influence) to the members of the congregation in achievingthe goals of the church and organization. As a result, members of the congregationwill work together with the pastor in achieving the mission of the church of God inthis earth, discipleship (to Achieve).

Abstract

Dealing with the identity of, the location of the spirits which areimprisoned in 1 Peter 3:18-21, and the time when Jesus went and preached to themhave been disputed among the scholars. The paper tries to see the disputedmatters from the view points of the literary structure of the texts, the grammaticaland syntactical relation of the texts, the broader theological meaning, andimplications as well. From the points of view of the literary structure of the texts shows thatthe author of the book wants his readers that even though they have to suffer, theyshould be suffering because of right things, and should not be because of their ownfaults.According to grammatical and syntactical analysis, it is found that thephrase “in which” referring to Jesus before His incarnation. In analyzing thephrase “spirits in prison” in the light of the immediate context in 1 Peter 3:19, thetext clearly indicates that it refers to the spiritual prison instead of literal prison. The Bible simply teaches that someone has to receive or reject salvationwhile he or she is still alive; because the probation for human is ended when he orshe dies. There is no second chance to accept salvation after the present life.Jesus wants human being does not only escape from the present worldlysuffering, but also he wants to release humanity from the greater suffering, that isthe eternal lost. This study concludes that before His incarnation, Jesus was in the spirit, and the spirit of Christ had inspired the prophet Noah as well as other ancientprophets. The expression “spirits in prison” denotes to the evil people who wereliving before the coming of the diluvian who did not believe and reject themessage given by the prophet Noah.
