Abstract

Anemia is a public health problem that often occurs, especially in developing countries (WHO, 2015). Iron deficiency anemia has an impact on iron deficiency in children with a prevalence of 43% at the age of 6-59 months and 25% in children aged 5-15 years, which combined represents 600 million cases of anemia, of which half are iron deficient. The purpose of this study was to determine the hemoglobin level in respondents before being given therapy and hemoglobin levels in respondents after being given IPC therapy, as well as to determine the effectiveness of giving IPC to increase hemoglobin. The research is included in analytical research with experimental quai design. The population in this study were pediatric patients who had anemia and were given IPC therapy for 3 months regularly, as many as 150 respondents during the last 3 months. With a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 51 respondents who fit the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The therapy given is IPC therapy for 3 months regularly. Analysis of the data used is the T test, with 0.05. The results showed that the T count was 3.15677 > T Table 1.67591, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that IPC therapy is effective in increasing hemoglobin levels in children.

Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 outbreak began in Wuhan in December 2019, until it finallyspread to the world. So far, many people have died as a result of being tested positive forCOVID-19. Students are one part of the community that has been affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. Knowledge of Covid-19 prevention efforts is very important for students sothat students are expected to be able to behave appropriately in order to break the chain oftransmission of Covid-19.Objective: To describe the behavior of preventing Covid-19 in students at SMK Negeri IGedangsari.Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The sampling technique is totalsampling. The sample who is willing to be a respondent and fill out the linkhttps://forms.gle/JV98ok5ArNGxdiYc7 is 76 respondents. Data were analyzed usingfrequency distribution.Research Results: The average age of the respondents is 17 years, the majority ofrespondents are female with a total of 54 respondents. The Covid-19 prevention behaviorin respondents was good in the number of 25, quite good in the number of 45 and less inthe number of 6 respondents.Conclusion: The majority of Covid 19 prevention behavior in Gedangsari State VocationalSchool students is quite good.

Abstract

Self-medication is a self-medication effort. One of the diseases that are often treated with self-medication is fever. Fever is a state of body temperature above normal temperature, which is body temperature above 37º Celsius. Fever is one of the most common health problems in toddlers. Handling fever in toddlers is very dependent on the role of parents, especially mothers. In order for proper self-medication, a mother is required to have good knowledge in dealing with fever in children. Handling fever in toddlers is very dependent on the role of parents, especially mothers. From various studies conducted in Indonesia, it is known that the level of knowledge of mothers about handling fever in toddlers varies greatly. So that the mother's level of knowledge resulted in differences in the management of fever in children. This study aims to describe the level of knowledge of fever self-medication in toddlers in Pasurenan Batur Village, Banjarnegara. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic. The number of samples taken in this study were 50 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire to determine the mother's level of knowledge in self-medication of fever in toddlers. The results showed that as many as 43 respondents (86%) had a good level of knowledge.

Abstract

Background: Several ways of first aid in traffic accidents, such as moving the victim without regard to the position of the head and neck, are inappropriate first aid. These methods can aggravate the victim's condition, while pre-hospital first aid skills greatly affect the victim while being treated at the hospital. Objective: To determine the influence of health education of emergency actions towards traffic accident handling skills on students of SMK Muhammadiyah Cawas. Research method: this study was experimental research with a one group pre-posttest design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 24 students. The skills were measured by using a skill observation form as many as 28 actions that must be practiced. Results: Before the intervention the average result was 31.1 and after the intervention the average result was 34. It means that Posttest > Pretest. Then the Wilcoxon test was carried out, the results obtained P-Value = 0.001 (P <0.005) which means that the hypothesis was accepted. Conclusion: there was influence of health education of emergency actions towards traffic accident handling skills on students of SMK Muhammadiyah Cawas.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is one of the benchmarks for assessing professional services from the quality of pharmaceutical services. This study aims to determine patient satisfaction with drug information services at the Astu Putra Pharmacy, Cawas, Klaten Regency based on the dimensions of service quality: responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible reliability. The research method used is descriptive using a questionnaire given to 100 respondents. The data obtained from the questionnaire was calculated the average percentage of patient satisfaction and expectations and categorized. The results showed that patient satisfaction was based on the dimensions of service quality on the reliability dimensionwith the very satisfied category (81%), the responsiveness dimension with the satisfied category (77.4%), on the assurance dimensionthe satisfied category (77.8%) , dimensions of empathy (empaty) with a satisfied category (76.9%), and tangible (tangiable) with a satisfied category (75.7%). From the five dimensions, the percentage result is 77.76% in the satisfied category. While the results of respondents' expectations on the five dimensions obtained an average score of 85.98%, which means that patients feel hope is very important for improving pharmaceutical services at the Astu Putra Pharmacy, Cawas, Klaten Regency

Abstract

Hypertension is often referred to as the silent killer because this disease has no specific symptoms, can attack anyone and at any time, and can cause degenerative diseases, up to death. Based on the background of the problem above, it can be formulated how the pattern of prescribing the use of antihypertensive drugs to outpatients at the Kusuma Main Clinic, Wonosobo City. To determine the pattern of prescribing the use of antihypertensive drugs in outpatients for the January - March 2019 period at the Kusuma Main Clinic, Wonosobo City. This study is a descriptive survey research with quantitative research procedures, data obtained from secondary data taken directly from prescriptions for outpatient hypertension patients for the period January - March 2019 at the Kusuma Main Clinic, Wonosobo City. The highest number and percentage of drug use in patients with hypertension by gender were women, namely 57.69, based on age group > 50 years, namely 76.92%. The active substance that was more widely prescribed was amlodipine, which was 39.22%. The most antihypertensive group was the calcium antagonist group, namely 41.18%. More women suffer from hypertension when they enter menopause, this is due to a decrease in the hormone estrogen. In this case, the related agencies of the Health Department should provide counseling to the public about hypertension management and a healthy lifestyle, especially for those over 50 years old.
