Abstract

Background: A hospital is an organization of health professionals through an organized and permanent medical facilities conducting medical services, continuous nursing care, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses suffered by patients. Nurses require documentation standards as guidance and direction in maintenance recording / documentation of activities and instructions for making patterns / recording formats appropriate, evidence recording and reporting on the status of the client and used as a communication tools that is accurate and complete. Nurses are not only required to improve the quality of nursing care, but also claimed to be properly documented. Nurses often do not obey and do the routine without regard to their legality aspect, although many factors are influence documentation. This study aims to determine compliance with standards of nursing care nurse at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul. Methods: This was a qualitative descriptive research with a view to charging documents compliance with nursing standards of nursing care PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul. This research was conducted with a view of nursing care standards document in May 2010. Implementation process that includes data collection, data processing, and presentation of comprehensive data and information accurately, timely, and trustworthy in the hospitalization. Results: he results seen from the documentation of nursing care standards shows that the nurses in the inpatient unit class PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul III comply with the standards of nursing care that is 100% obedient to categorize nurses in assessment, diagnosis and planning, while 94.7% of nurses in the implementation of compliance and categorize 89.5% nurses in the evaluation categorize obedient. Conclusion: Compliance with the standards of nursing care nurse in the Inpatient Unit RSU PKU Muhammadiyah class III Bantul, has been running quite well because the nurse dutifully on the charging document nursing care standards. Abstract

Background: Standart evaluation and quality control exlpain that nursery services guarantee a high quality of nursing by involving themselves into quality control in the hospital. Job satisfaction must be created goodly, in order to job morality, disciplined, dedication and job performance can be increased. The employee can work produce or not was depent on motivation, job satisfaction, the level of stress, phisicly condition of job, salary, project of work, aspeck of economy and technics. The aim of this reseach was to know correlation job satisfaction and job performance. Methods: The study was analytic quantitative with cross sectional method. Data were analyzed quantitatively with Product Moment correlation analyze. The population was all of nurse (110 persons) in the nursery room services at the Klaten Islamic Hospital. The tool of the study was questionaire toward 52 respondents. Sample taken by proportional random sampling. Result: The result of the study showed that job satisfaction of nurses was on the moderate level reached (63,5%). Job performance of nurses was on the good level reache (78,8%). There were positive correlation between job satisfaction and job performance, with correlation coefficien r = 0,393 (on the low level); with p=0,004. Conclusion: There were positive correlation between job satisfaction and job performance of nurses. Key words: Job satisfaction, job performance, nurse.

Abstract

Background: The hospital is one workplace where there is staff, patients, visitors, medical devices and non-medical, so in the hospital there are a variety of exposures, among others, chemical, biological, ergonomics. Employees at the hospital is a potential resource that must be nurtured to become productive and quality. But apparently in carrying out daily sociality services especially in the work environment, employees are more exposed to the various factors that may cause negative impact and affect their health status. Employees in hospitals vary greatly in terms of type and number in executing its duties is always associated with a variety of potential hazards if not properly and correctly anticipated to have a negative impact on safety and health, which in turn can affect the productivity of work. Low labor productivity will also have an impact on health services provided by the hospital. The implementation of occupational safety and health program (K3) in the hospital is required to prevent various hazards that may cause health effects. However, the implementation of K3 in particular areas of work on employee health in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta has not fully run optimally, citing the cost is relatively expensive. Method: This study was an observational study that was descriptive qualitative located in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The subjects consisted of Chairman PK3, PK3 Secretary, and 50 permanent employees in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Results: Based on the research of 52 employees, obtained results showed that the level of employee compliance in following the health checks can be quite good even as many as 65%. Conclusion: Factors inhibiting the implementation of occupational health in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is the lack of socialization from the hospital to its employees, employee behavior, and no sanctions for employees who do not want to follow the program. While the reasons for employees to check their health on a regular basis is self-protection, and to know his health. Compliance level employees in the following periodic medical examinations in hospitals PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta good enough. Abstract

Background : Paradigm of a healthy life can be the foundation for better understanding the complexities of public health issues. Four main factors that influence health status of individuals/communities, among other behavioral factors, environmental, health and genetic services. Health factors play a role in this concept is the third largest. Health care institutions are also required to improve quality in providing outstanding service, such as by improving the quality of medical record keeping activities.High and low quality of health services can be seen from the data whether or not complete treatment are listed in the medical record. Medical records are very important in carrying out the quality of medical care. A medical record has seven competencies, one of which is a medical records management unit. Place of registration of patients in Puskesmas Banguntapan II regency there are still many problems. So, it needs planning system in order to improve the quality of health services. The research objective is planning a medical record system based on inputs and processes at patient registration. Methode : This was descriptive research using qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation tools while using field notes, check lists, interview guides, tape recorder, and stationery. Analysis of studies using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result : The results showed that there was many problems in the review of resource inputs (man, money, materials, methods, mechine, and the market) so that it can identify the problem. Based on the identification of the problem it will get priority problems and causes of the problems that arise alternate problem solving. Under an agreement resolving the jury was selected from several alternative settlement of existing problems. The results of selected problem-solving that will be the planning system. Conclusion: there was many problems in the review of resource inputs (man, money, materials, methods, mechine, and the market) and the planning system in particular parts of the registration of medical records of patients can be prepared based on the analysis of the situation. This study aims to determine how the image of the application of occupational safety and health management (K3) in the emergency department RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Method: This was qualitative descriptive research using non-experimental approach. This study provides an assessment of a material or object that is based on a criteria that has been there. qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe objectively existing reality that is expressed in words, sentences or pictures. Results: The results showed that health care emergency department personnel, the use of personal protective equipment, hazard or accident prevention, periodic health checks, and training of K3 in the emergency department are in accordance with manual operation of safety, fire, and disaster awareness RSU PKU Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta in 2005. Conclusion: Health care workers have been conducted properly in accordance with established procedures RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Usage of personal protective equipment has been properly implemented by emergency department staff in accordance with the procedures set RSU PKU Myhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Hazards and accident prevention work has been carried out properly by emergency department personnel. Periodic medical examinations are in accordance with established procedures RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Health and safety training are not addressed in the implementation manual safety, fire, and disaster awareness but especially hospital emergency department has implemented well. Abstract

Background: Mortality is an indicator of perinatal health status of mothers and children in the general obstetric service. Puskesmas Baamang Unit II Sampit is one of the health service in the town of Sampit who are ready to provide health services to the community. Socioeconomic factors such as education, knowledge about health, nutrition and environmental health, beliefs, values, and poverty is an individual and family factors that affect mortality in the community. Low socioeconomic women who are unable to meet the daily needs because of economic constraints so that womens nutritional needs are not fulfilled, this will have an impact on pregnancy. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between socioeconomic status families with perinatal mortality in the working area Puskesmas Baamang Unit II Sampit. Methods: This was an observational research with cross sectional design. Total sample of 81 people. Samples were taken with a total sampling technique, using primary and secondary. Results: This study showed that there was a relationship between the social economy of perinatal death with a family with a CC value = 0.636; X2 count> X2 table (12.271> 3.841) and Approx. .000 Sig is smaller than ? (0.05). Conclusion: There was a relationship between socioeconomic status families with perinatal mortality in the Puskesmas Baamang Unit II Sampit in Central Kalimantan. Abstract

Background: Work shift is one of major source of job stress for workers that affect the biological, psychological and social life. Stress can happen in a short notice, but also can happen in a long moment. The excessive stress to threaten a persons ability to cope with the environment. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship shifts with work stress on the operation of PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara in West Sumbawa regency. Method: This was an observational research with cross sectional design. The population of this study consists of 250 employees of the operation crew A of PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. The research sample is some staff the operation crew of A PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. The sampling used is proportionate with stratified random sampling technique. The sample takes 71 people. Analysis of descriptive data using frequency distribution tables and analytically to determine the relationship between two variables with bivariate data analysis, chi-square test. Result: The results showed a significant relationship between work shift and work stress with chi square value of 5.329 compared with T-score tables 3, 841 on df = 1 at ? = 5 percent (0.05) and prevalence ratio (RP) = 2065 (95% CI = 1.093-3.89), so that Ho refused and Ha accepted. Conclusion: : Independent variables studied (work shift) has a significant relationship to job stress. Keywords: Work shift, Work stress
