Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengkaji relevansi pembelajaran muatan local dengan dunia industri di Sidoarjo. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa muatan local di SD dan SLTP senantiasa ditingkatkan sesuai kebutuhan, namun demikian materi muatan local masih belum memadai dan belum relevan dengan kebutuhan tenaga kerja di dunia industri.The study aims to investigate if the learning skills of local content at Primary and Junior High Schools are relevant to the need of work force for industries in Sidoarjo. The data were collected using questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. The result indicates that although the materials of local contents are always updated they are still insufficient and irrelevant to the need of labors in industry.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan prestasi, kegiatan dan respon dari siswa kelas 3 SMP 8 Jember terhadap ‘Tabung Volume’ dengan mengguna kan kelompok model investigasi dari Cooperative Learning. Data diperoleh dari 4 siswa dengan menggunakan kwesioner, tes, ceklis dan catatan lapangan dan dianalisis menggunakan Miles-Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi, presentasi dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) model investigasi kelompok CL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa; 2) ada 7 langkah model investigasi kelompok CL; 3) kerjasama dan respons siswa terhadap investigasi kelompok positif.This action research aims at describing the achievement, activity and response of the 3rd year students of SMP 8 Jember toward ‘Tabung Volume’ using group investigation model of Cooperative Learning. The data were obtained from 4 students using questionnaire, test, checklist and field notes and were analyzed employing Miles- Huberman analysis comprising data reduction, presentation and verification. The results show that 1) group investigation model of CL can increase students’ understanding; 2) there are 7 steps of group investigation model of CL; 3) students’ cooperation and response to Group Investigation are positive.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian tindakan terhadap 4 siswa adalah sebagai berikut: 1) siswa cerebral palsy kelas rehabilitasi pravokasional masih perlu diarahkan pada pembimbingan karir yang jelas oleh tenaga ahli; 2) kendala yang menonjol adalah tidak tersedia tenaga ahli, tenaga ahli administrasi, dan sumber dana; 3) program layanan bimbingan karir yang diterapkan adalah Desensitisasi Sistematik, untuk mengeliminasi perilaku-perilaku siswa yang mengarah pada tindakan kebosanan, Rational Emotif Terapi (RET) untuk menanggulangi keyakinan-keyakinan siswa tentang karir yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuannya, serta Layanan informasi melalui kegiatan bermain peran, eksperimen bersama dan diskusi. Penerapan ketiga program tersebut berhasil memperbaiki pemahaman anak.The results of action research conducted to 4 mentally retarded students are; 1) professional counselor are needed to help them have career; 2) the absence of professional counsellors’ administration staff and fund; 3) career-counselling programs yielding significant results comprise Systematic Desensitization, Rational Emotive Therapy and Information service given through role playing, experiment and discussion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 15 orang guru di SDN Rungkut Menanggal I Surabaya. Dengan metode deskriptif persentase, diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Kegiatan perlakuan diberikan pelatihan tentang materi a) Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (tinjauan umum); b) Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Portofolio Materi Sumber Daya Alam Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar Kelas V; dan c) Pengembangan model pengajaran Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi; (2) Kegiatan praktik dilaksanakan dengan pembuatan silabi dan rencana pembelajaran, dan hasilnya berupa produk silabi dan rencana pembelajaran untuk masing-masing mata pelajaran pada kelas yang diajar.The subject of this descriptive research was 15 Primary School teachers. Using percentage method, the results obtained are 1) the treatment given comprised a) general review of Competence-Based Curriculum; b) developing the materials of Portofolio Learning Model for “Indonesian Natural Resources” for the 5th grade students and c) developing a Competence-Based Teaching model and 2) the practice consisted of writing the syllabus and lesson plan for each subject.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: (1) to describe the students’ physical activity level (PAL) measured by using direct observation and Lifecorder during gymnastics unit of PE classes for 2nd and 3rd graders, (2) to describe the students’ formative class evaluation (FCE) score towards their PE lessons, (3) to describe the students’ learning behavior (LB) during motor learning (A2) episodes of their PE lessons, and (4) to clarify the relationships among those variables during each of the units. Data were collected from 3 units of PE classes for 2nd graders at H elementary school in Ibaraki Prefecture, and from 1 unit of PE classes for 3rd graders at Z elementary school in Saitama Prefecture (Japan). The classes were videotaped using 6 seconds observe-record interval (ALT format), and evaluated using 2 measures: (1) students’ FCE, and (2) Lifecorder. Results indicated that: (1) the students’ PAL was averagely 2146 steps, 1.89 levels of intensity, and 72.2 % of A2 episodes for MV-PAL engagement; (2) the average total score of students’ FCE towards their PE lessons was 2.74; (3) averagely 62.6 % of motor learning (A2) episodes was used by students for engaged in learning activities; and (4) in general, the relationship among students’ PAL, students’ LB, and students’ FCE was not clear, but, inside the A2 episodes, the relationship between students’ PAL and students’ LB was significant.
