Abstract

The nutrition problem is very important problem that need more attention. If someone doesn’t know about his nutrition status, he can’t control how much nutrition value should be needed by his body. In this research, it has been built a Decision Support System (DSS) to compute nutrition status. The system needs physical condition from user via user interface. Pocket PC platform used to develop this DSS. The computation of nutrition status based on K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN). The K-NN method will look for the shortest distance between evaluated data and K nearest data in the data training set The result of this research shows that this system can help user to get information about his nutrition status, so he can keep his nutrition normal status to avoid he diseases attack. Abstract

The impeller of air plane turbine or electrical generator gas turbine, generally used Ni base content superalloy. For long time turbine operation, oxidation of Ni-alloy could be happened. This research want to know the effect of the high temperature and time duration of turbine operation, especially oxidation of Ni-3Al alloy. In this research the temperature treatment at 1298 and 1498 oK, while time duration 20,25 and 50 hours. The research result shows that NiO Oxid is formed and porous crystall granulars are identified. This porous crystalls are Ni Al2O4. Keywords: Superalloy, Ni-Al, porous crystall, NiO.

Abstract

Lubricant oil is used to lubricate machines especially gasoline machine. To have ahighs performance lubricant oil, additive agent is added. Additive agent used for anti oxidant, anti rust of time worn, and anti foam. This research want to know the influence of temperature change on tension penetrate of lubricant oil. The sample use are lubricant oil SAE 40 and transformator oil (Diala-B). The experiment result shows that the tension penetrate of both oil are increase for increasing temperature, but lubricant oil SAE 40 have smaller increase than Diala-B. Abstract

At present the pineapple plant is widely cultivated in some regions of Indonesia. Nevertheless the plantation of pineapple plants are commonly utilised only for fruit. This paper aim to represent the another benefit of pineaple plants which can be utilised their abundant pineaple leafs to be used for the textile material, known as pineapple leaf fibres. This subject consist of a review of investigation carried out on the method of  making pineapple leaf fibres such as decortication and degumming pocesses, some properties of pineapple leaf fibres, and their appropriateness for manufacturing of textiles as yarns or fabrics. An relation of the possible use of pineapple leaf fibres as related products  is also given. Keywords: pineapple leaf fibres, decortication, and degumming process.

Abstract

Work shift has negative effect in physical and mental health, work performance and job accident. Disturbance of circadian rhythms is indicated as source of the problems. This  article  explores  some  researches  related  to  the  impacts  of  work  shift  and establishes basic principles of work shift scheduling that considers human need and limitation. Abstract

Tree Diagram has been familiarly known as one of the tools used to solve or to make decision forproblems  that  have  some  alternatives  of  solutions.  But  usually  the  outcome  of  the  diagram  aredeterministicly approached. This paper suggested Monte Carlo Simulation to approach the deterministicaspect of outcome to become  probabilistic. Abstract

Many electronics experience require clock generator. In common, analog clock generator able to generate  clock  signal  with 5% error,  and  digital  clock  generator  can  generate  with 0.1% error. Microcontroller-based clock signal generator has crystal accuracy. The useful frequency range that can be generated is between 1 Hz and 1 MHz when the microcontroller operating at a 24 MHz clock frequency. A 1 MHz frequency output can be generated by execute continuously a one-cycle-instruction to complement the pin output. To generate a specific frequency below  1 MHz, the other instruction(s) such as nooperation can be inserted to delay the next instruction. Kata kunci: pembangkit clock, mikrokontroler, galat.
