Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide an ethical foundation for relationship marketing using a virtue ethics approach. A phrase: “The customer is a king” means the customer is essential to the welfare of the business. On one hand, buyer and seller have a shared interest in “doing the deal”. They want to do business with each other, and both benefit from the transaction. On the other hand, every rupiah a buyer saves is a rupiah lost from the seller’s point of view. Every buyer wants a low price and every seller wants a high price. So, if fairness is good, then we should promote fairness in commercial transactions, just as we do in other areas of life. And that requires that buyer and seller at least see each other as equals.

Abstract

This study aims to test the cash flow total, accounting income, cash flow from operation activity, cash flow from investing activity and cash flow from financing activity are expected to affect the stock price in annual reporting companies included in the LQ-45 firms in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample data used is the company that includes LQ-45 index in the period February 2008 to January 2011 using annual reports from each company for the fiscal year 2008 to 2010. Datas were analyzed by using the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS program ver16. The results of this study indicate that the cash flow total and, accounting income had significant effect on stock price in corporate annual reports because if accounting income increase then the investors will investing theirs money in that company, so the companys stock price will be increase too. Results of these studies in line with research conducted by the Triyono dan Jogiyanto Hartono (2000), Vicky Oktavia (2008) and others researchers. From the results of these studies shows that accounting income had significant positif effect on stock price in corporate annual reports, which Results of these studies in line with research conducted by Triyono dan Jogiyanto Hartono (2000) and Vicky Oktavia (2008). As a simultant test the cash flow total accounting income and accounting income had significant positif effect on stock price in corporate annual. Results of these studies had no significant effect on stock price in corporate annual reports between cash flow from investing activity, and cash flow from financing activity on stock price in partial (based on t-test) and simultant test (based on F-test), which Results of these studies not in line with research conducted by Triyono dan Jogiyanto Hartono (2000) and Vicky Oktavia (2008), but in line with research conducted by Dillah Utami Cahyani (1999).

Abstract

Credit Union Khatulistiwa Bakti Di Pontianak is a credit union, is currently popular and very interested in the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the queue system in service on Credit Union Equatorial Consecrated in Pontianak. This study uses deskripti. Data collection was performed using the method of observation, and interviews. Data were analyzed using the queue method calculation formula. From the results of this study concluded that the policy of the Credit Union Khatulistiwa Bakti Di Pontianak able to give satisfaction to the members who make transactions, both deposits and transaction security be at the service credit. Credit Union Khatulistiwa Bakti Di Pontianak should put four cashiers during peak hours such as 10:00 to 11:00 pm at utilizing other employees in the finance department.

Abstract

This research is performed in order to test the influence of the variable Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and BOPO toward Return on Asset (ROA). The data is based on publicity Indonesia Banking Directory since 2007 to 2010 and fulfill minimum CAR criteria. Obtained by amount sample as much 30 bank within 5 go public national bank and 25 go public private bank. Analysis technique used is doubled regression with smallest square equation and hypothesis test use t-statistic to test coefficient of regression partial. From the result of analysis indicate that only data BOPO in partial significant toward ROA in go public national bank, but NPL, LDR and BOPO in partial significant toward ROA in go public private bank. Chow test result show 3,823 bigger than 1,96 so there is a significant difference in the effect of the influence of four independent variables on ROA in go public national bank and go public private bank.

The research is done to the PT Metrodata Electronics, Tbk and PT Dyviacom Intrabumi, Tbk those listed on Bursa Efek Jakarta in order to measure the financial performance of the companies. The audited financial statement that used to research the performance is from 2008 until 2011, Economic Value Added method is used to analyze the performance.

Abstract

Capital market in Indonesia has grown rapidly since 1989, after the government issued various deregulation to spur the growth of the capital market. Individual investors in the equity investment must try to obtain optimal return and reduce risk. Regarding on the purpose, this research used a single index models found by Sharpeto form a stock portfolio. The problem in this research is how to do stock selection in the plantation sector in order to establish optimal stock portfolio with single index model and how much the proportion of funds to be allocated to the portfolio? The research objective is to determine which plantation stocks will form a stock portfolio and how many percentage the allocation of funds to each stock. The research was descriptive form, using secondary data. The data used in this study is quantitative data that individual stock price index, the stock price index and the rate of Bank Indonesia (BI Rate). From the calculation, there are six stocks will establish the optimal stock portfolio. They are PT Smart, Tbk., PTPP London Sumatra Indonesia, Tbk., PT Tunas Baru Lampung, Tbk., PT Sampoerna Agro, Tbk., PT Gozco Plantations, Tbk. and PT Astra Agro Lestari, Tbk. The allocation of funds will be invested by the investor, it is obtained the biggest investment will be invested in stock of PTPP London Sumatra Indonesia, Tbk. amounted to 31.32%, PT Tunas Baru Lampung, Tbk. amounted to 20.20%, PT Sampoerna Agro, Tbk. amounted to 16.59%, PT Smart, Tbk. amounted to 12.09%, PT Gozco Plantations, Tbk. 10.71% and the smallest investment amounted to 9.08%. in stock of PT Astra Agro Lestari, Tbk.

Abstract

Bank Customers have become more critical in choosing banks to transact with, in line with the increasing needs of their businesses. On the other side, Banks are faced with a more intense competition. In managing the banking sector, then the role of a bank’s staff in indentifying, understanding and prioritizing the segment to be served is of significant issue in contributing to the growth of the banking business. In the effort of retaining and to continuously increase the growth of lending and funding outstanding as well as the number of customers, the company is faced with constraints in the form of decreasing lending and funding outstanding from day to day, due to loan payoffs arising from loan maturity, excess fund or even customers moving to other banks. In this regard, strategies in prospecting new customers, exploring more into the customers potential are needed. Based on the analysis of the survey result employing the descriptive survey method, in order to make sure that the process of identification of prospective customers in Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) segment by Relationship Officers (ROs) running well, focused and appeared to be truly professional in the eye of the customers, then the ROs must be equipped with a set of structured questions and be prepared with interview form in order to progress to the next prospecting steps. Marketing team, i.e. ROs, in understanding and making SME customer or prospective customer priorities, need to classify SME customers or prospective customers into Porcupine, Rabbit, Rhino, Buffalo, so that the feasibility and impact (profitability) from the respected customers or prospective customers can be measured in order to contribute.
