Abstract

Centrally system of education which implemented by the government does not address the needs of the community and students and hinders the occurrence of democracy in the implementation of education, this is because the centralized system forces and applies uniform policies nationally, therefor the target of the central education policy does not reach the target and not as expected because each region has different diversity, interests and potential of human resources and natural resources. In the current education policy, the autonomy of education is one of the positive policies, because it does not stop in districts and cities, but this policy is directly to schools as the spearhead of the implementation of education. One policy system that is considered good at the school level is what is known as the School Based Management Model (SBM). SBM is one model of education management based on school autonomy or independence in determining the direction, policy and course of education. In the process of implementing SBM education, the community must be included, because the community is the first and foremost layer of the education process. This means that the process of education, quality of education, facilities, and goals of education are also the responsibility of the community.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the importance of language, where language is the ability to communicate with others. Language is an essential factor that distinguishes humans from animals. Language is closely related to individual thinking development. The development of individual thinking appears in the development of language, namely the ability to form understanding, compile opinions and draw conclusions. Whereas, development is a process that must be experienced by each individual, this development is qualitative and related to maturity and systematic. Language development in children is very important because through language, children can express thoughts, so that others understand it and create a social relationship. So, it is not surprising that language is considered as an indicator of a child's success

Abstract

The millennial era presents new challenges and opportunities in the field of education. Information technology is a marker. Post modern culture and information globalization interact and have been integrated in education. Even though the millennial era has had a positive impact, this era is also closely related to work ethic, ethics and moral issues. The ease of information and technology that gives birth to laziness, not thinking deeply, not down to earth or not caring about the environment, tend to want to be free, westernized, and sometimes violate ethics. This paper through the author's reflection on the literature relating to Islamic education, aims to unravel the challenges and opportunities of Islamic education in the millennial era. The opportunity for Islamic education based on the integralism spirit of education is increasingly greater to be the main choice of this millennial era education, even though the challenges that will be faced are also getting harder.

Abstract

The task of the teacher to give instructions and guide students for more progressive in their knowledge, skills and self-constructivity to develop their potential. The teacher carries out his duties requiring technical skills that are supported by certain personality attitudes, and are guided by a code of ethics at the institution where he works, especially in Islamic education institutions. Technical skills, personality attitudes, obedience to religious values ​​should develop when teaching profession is supported, and the situation provides opportunities in a professional manner, and teacher can realize the vision and mission of teaching and simultaneously carry out the vision and targets of the educational institutions in which they work. Increased professionalism of teachers requires Total Quality Management (TQM) which aims to encourage management to work in total to improve quality, quality assurance and provide satisfaction to customers; parents, students themselves and other stakeholders. This paper will outline the role of TQM in increasing the professionalism of teachers in Islamic education institutions

Abstract

Mempelajari kosakata berarti menguasai kosakata, terjemahannya, dan penggunaannya dalam kalimat yang benar. Mampu menghafal kosakata tanpa tahu bagaimana menggunakannya dalam percakapan nyata tidak cukup. Dengan demikian, dalam praktiknya, siswa yang sudah memiliki cukup kosa kata diajarkan bagaimana menerapkannya secara tertulis atau lisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kosakata diajarkan dan seberapa efektif kosakata itu dalam meningkatkan kemahiran berbahasa Arab siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Jaluko, Muaro Jambi. Peneliti menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif di lapangan. Metode yang diterapkan adalah observasi; lebih khusus lagi, Pengamatan Langsung di mana peneliti secara langsung mengamati subyek sementara juga melakukan dokumentasi, tes tertulis dan lisan, dan wawancara. Peneliti menemukan bahwa studi kosa kata di MTsN Jaluko menggunakan beberapa metode pengajaran, beberapa di antaranya adalah metode pengajaran langsung, metode pengajaran tata bahasa, metode terjemahan, metode membaca, dan metode fonetik. Beberapa teknik yang digunakan adalah mendengarkan kata, spasi kata, pemahaman kata, membaca kata, menulis kata, dan membuat kata. Model pelatihan yang digunakan di MTsN Jaluko Muaro Jambi adalah praktik pola, praktik percakapan, drama, pidato. Materi pemahaman kosakata yang digunakan di MTsN Jaluko Muaro Jambi adalah pidato, mufradat dan struktur kata, bahan bacaan dan Insya 'Muwajjah. Untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbahasa Arab Siswa MTsN Jaluko, sekolah menerapkan dua program; Iqro 'dan disiplin bahasa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas proses penilaian kinerja guru dalam mengajar membaca teks atau naskah berbahasa Inggris di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Sabilul Muttaqin Kuala Tungkal, Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi. Menggunakan metode deskriptif, campuran kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan para guru, serta melakukan survei dan kuesioner dengan 124 siswa, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan semua guru yang mengajar membaca teks berbahasa Inggris di MAS Sabilul Muttaqin memiliki kinerja dan kompetensi yang baik dalam mengajar mata pelajaran tersebut

Abstract

The research underlying this paper is descriptive qualitative research conducted through three stages, the pre-field stage, the stage of field-work, and the data analysis stage. The subjects in this study were six students of grade seven Islamic Junior High School or Madrasah Tsanawiyah Yaspi Labuhan Medan with two subjects capable of good mathematical communication, two subjects with sufficient communication skills, and two subjects with less communication skills. Subject selected through purposive sampling. Based on the research, were obtained: first, there is a positive change in the ability of students to communicate mathematics after being given joyful learning based on the context of Malay culture; second, the process of student answers shows that subjects are better able to communicate mathematical questions after being given joyful learning based on Malay cultural context. Furthermore, this research recommended that teachers can use joyful learning based on cultural contexts by presenting problems related to local culture as an alternativelearning.
