Abstract

Nyadran is the heritage of hindu, nowadays it has transformed after islam spread in java.  This transformation produced local tradition without mitting the Islamic dogma and local tradition.  The tradition has religious meaning concering with thanksgiving performance to Allah and wishing Allah SWT will receive the best from their ancient people or family.  Nyadran is one of media for them to hope the safety life and welfare even it can illuminate the cultural transformation among them

Abstract

ABTRACTThe establisment of bank mu’amalah Indonesia is 1991is the triges of growing syari’ah bank in Indonesia.  Of course each syariah bank has interesting product to stimulate client, so it is important to be discussed about factors influenced customers to choose syari’ah bank.  The study aimed to analize knowledge factors, motivation, group concering and bank exceting towards moslem businessman choose syari’ah bank in Tulungagung.  The research finding stated that three factors, why moslem businessman choosed syari’ah, namely; knowlwdge factors, motivation, and bank located.Kata Kunci: Analisis Keputusan, Pengusaha Muslim, Bank Syari’ah.

Abstract

ABTRACTThe strategy of boarding school in increasing the quality of santri. The survival of pesantren/ islamic boarding school is the proudness  for moslem, especially pesantren environment.  Pesantren/ Islamic boarding school teaches kitab kuning/ yellow books until now, nevertherless most of the people assume that the method is conservative and out of date.This studi aimed to increase the quality of santri in pesantren education as an alternative or model.  The effort of PPHM asrama putri (dormitory for female students) sunan pandanaran Tulungagung to increase the quality of santri is based on societal need.  Thus, the output of Islamic boarding school (pesantren) competitively in society. Kata Kunci: Strategi Pesantren, Kualitas Santri.

Abstract

ABTRACTThis study is focused in Reading Comprehension of narrative text, because Reading is a part of language skills that needs to be increased by the students. It becomes one of the problems at the first semester of STAIN Tulungagung. It uses quantitative research with experimental research design. Here, researcher takes one group pre-test-post-test design. To know the result of experiment, the researcher uses t-test. It is because by using it, the effectiveness of teaching reading by using Directed Reading Thinking Activity can be found. Therefore, it was found that the t-value was 2.683. The result was compared with the table of t-value at 0.05 and t-value at 0.01 level of significance. Those are 1.671 and 2.392. The value was higher than t-value limit at the table of t-value, they are 1.671 < 2.392 < 2.683 . This means that the result statistically is significant.Kata Kunci: The DRTA Strategy, Reading Comprehension, Narrative Text

Abstract

ABTRACTResearch in math education on mathematical creativity relies on the idea that creativity is potentially within all students and it can be fostered by properly structured activities. The tasks most commonly used for its assessment are problem solving and problem posing. In our approach we use problem posing tasks to get insight into students’ creativity. Based on a qualitative analysis of the participants’ answers to the questionnaire that followed the task, we define algorithmic, combined and innovative creativity as constructs that can be put in correspondence with the types and level of knowledge involved in the problem posing task. We propose criteria to identify these types of creativity and discuss aspects related to the quality of the resulting problems. A second set of criteria is defined in order to assess the novelty of the posed problems.Kata Kunci: Menilai Kreativitas, Matematika, Problem Posing

Abstract

The objective of this research was to abtain the empiric figure ofthe correlation between leadership style and managerial abilitywith the teachers performance in Tulungagung Regency.The population of this research was all elementary shool teachers.Sample of 60 respondents was drawn by the used of simplerandam sampling technique of Taro Yamane formula.Instruments used to gathering data were questionnaires onteachers performance, leadership style and managerial ablity. The data was analyse by the used of simple, multiple and partialcorrelation and regression.The results of this research were, as followed: (1) that there weresignificant relationship between leadership style, and teachersperformance; (2) that there were significant relationship betweenmanagerial ability and teachers performance; (3) that there weresignificant  relationship between leadership style and managerialability  as they grouped together and teachers performance.

Abstract

The development of civilization depends on the potential of human resourcesis managing. Human resource potential will be maximized when supported by advanced education. In other say, between education and civilization are the two things are directly proportional. Therefore, civilized nations provide dedicated space for education. The more space for the higher education of civilization that will be engraved. Opposite, a civilization that is weak because education does not have a dequate space. The essential values that includes the eighteen character value that discourse is not just a slogan but also requires real implementation and embedded in the character of students, which it could only be integrated through a learning process, a role model and habitus in education through the role of teacher. In genealogy, this article will examine the role of teacher in instilling the value of the character as the support base of civilization, carried out through five major roles namely: transferring, transforming, modeling, transcending, and inspiring. In the process of education, the role fifth isintegrative-mutually inclusive.Keywords: Role of Teacher, Civilization, Character Building
