Jurnal Arabiyat terbit 2 kali dalam satu tahun (Juni dan Desember) sebagai salah satu wadah pengembangan ilmu pendidikan bahasa Arab yang dinamis dan aktual. Jurnal ini menyajikan artikel berbahasa Arab, Indonesia, dan Inggris fokus pada perkembangan bahasa Arab di dunia pendidikan yang merupakan hasil penelitian atau kajian teoritis yang berkaitan dengan literatur kebahasaaraban, peradaban bahasa Arab, lembaga pendidikan bahasa Arab, kurikulum, dan metode pembelajaran dan lainnya merupakan tema-tema yang tersaji di jurnal ini. There are some factors influencing teaching and learning of foreign language. In teaching Arabic, for example, linguistic factors, such as Phonology, Grammatical rules, Morphology, and Vocabulary. Non linguistic factor also influences teaching and learning Arabic, for example, teaching aids, teaching method, age and environment. The objective of this study is to investigate the moral educational values in Imam al-Syafii poem, which are consisted of nineteen verses. The method used is qualitative descriptive using structural approach. The result showed that in Imam al-syafii poem there are values of patience, honesty, sincerity, modesty of speaking, softness and moral of the nation. DOI: 10.15408/a.v1i2.1138

Based on literary studies and empirical experience, this article aims to highlight the scientific facts that Tajwid (science of recitation of Holy Qurʼan) met for change to be noted is subject to measure objectively, bursting capacity of self and non-precision and control, provided that this science that integrates the phonetics. Thus, the Tajwid be more popular if opened up to take advantage of explorations phonology and the science of medicine and anatomy, and other sciences. This article discusses several cases of voice and intonation issues in the science of scientific productions make it a more visible and controlled and subject to the measure if integrated with the Phonetics. The topic of this research is the Qur’an semiotics on surah Yusuf. This research collaborates the theory of semiotics and al-Qur’an. This research aims to find out the sense, meaning, and messege of the Qur’an on surah Yusuf. The theories used in this research are theory of meaning component, theory of sense relation, and theory of semiotics. This research is used two approaches. This article analyze the cultural values in proverb of Arabic (amtsal). The analysis of Amtsal are from the history of ancient Arabian. The aim of this paper is to examine the use of the word isim and fi’il in the Qur'an. This research method is to process data related to the books of fi’il and isim that have relevance aspect to the language of the Qur’an. Among the results of this study are: the nature of isim is not only a noun, but also adjectives, state, pronouns, appoint, name, and mashdar. Isim divided into seven categories there are (mudzakkar, muannats, simplex, mutsanna, and plural, and ma'rifat nakirah, munsharif and ghair munsharif, maqshur and manqush, jamid and musytaq, mu'rab and mabni). While fi’il consists of three parts, (simple past fi’il madhi, simple present fi’il mudhari ', and simple future fi’il amr). DOI: 10.15408/a.v1i2.1143

The primary goal of language teaching is to enable students to understand the proper and clear language expression that he listens, or reads, or writes; in order to achieve a very lofty goal namely communication between human beings. It is recommended that we start teaching Arabic language to children since their early age. It is that a child spends hundreds and perhaps thousands of hours listening to his mother tongue, to recognize their voices, and to distinguish between them and finally to produce words and sentences. Social constructivism, which is often called Vygotsky’s constructivist theory, is the latest teaching and learning approach which emphasizes on the importance of culture and social context or social interaction for knowledge development. Social constructivists view learning not only as individual process but also as a social process. Guided with social constructivism, this article aims to discuss its application in reading teaching. The implication of the models of learning recommended based on social constructivism are collaborative learning, cooperative learning, peer-scaffolding, reciprocal teaching, and contextual learning. This article analyzes the phenomenon of Arabizi ( عربي - إنجليزي ), using Arabic in Latin letters and numbers that mixed with dialects and foreign languages . This phenomenon is widespread in social media and can be used as one way to learn Arabic language independently with internet or social media. This paper is not intended to support the phenomenon, but rather as an alternative study to use of learning media more creatively. The results of this study indicate that Arabizi is an Arabic style that needs to be studied related to the contents and variety of language and Arab culture. DOI: 10.15408/a.v1i2.1146
