Abstract

The aims of this research are:1) to determine and analyze simultaneous influence of skills, motivation, and suppurting fund the performance of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una Regency; 2) to determine and analyze simultaneous influence of skills the performance of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una Regency; 3) to determine and analyze simultaneous influence of motivation the performance in of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una Regency; 4) to determine and analyze simultaneous influence suppurting fund  the performance in of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una Regency. This is a axplanatory research, this study explains the causality between the independent and dependent variables, which involves 38 respondents selected by using census sample method. Based on the result of multiple Linear Regressions, this research concludes that: 1) Skills, motivation, and Supporting fund simultaneously affect the employees’ performance of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una  Regency, both positively and significantly; 2) Skills  positively and significantly affect the employees’ performance of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una  Regency; 3) motivation  positively and significantly affects the employees’ performance of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una Regency; and 4) Supporting fund not positively and not significantly affect the employees’ performance of small ang middle furniture industries in Tojo Una-Una Regency.

Abstract

The study determines and analyzes simultaneous and partial influence of emotional quotient, work environment, and commitment on productivity in The Agency of Development Planning, Research, and Regional Development of Tojo Una-Una District. It applies quantitative approach by taking 38 officials in The Agency of Development Planning, Research, and Regional Development of Tojo Una-Una District as samples through census method. Technique of analysis is multiple linear regressions with hypotthetical test by using confidence level of α = 0,05 with SPSS version 22.00. validity test runs with corrected-item total correlation with minimum value of r=0.3. Reliability test applies cronbach alpha coefficient with coefficient limit of  α >0.6. the results shows that emotional quotient, work environment, and commitment simultaneously have significnat influence on officials’ productivity in The Agency of Development Planning, Research, and Regional Development of Tojo Una-Una District with Fvalue of 2.045>Ftable  of 0.049 on sig 0.000. The variable of emotional quotient has significant influence on productivity with tvalue of 1.523>ttable of 0.137 on sig 0.000; work environment has positive influence but insignificant on productivity with tvalue of 1.445>ttable of 0.158 on sig 0.162; commitment has significant influence on productivity tvalue of 4.518>ttable of 0.677 on sig 0.000.

Abstract

The aims of the study are: 1) to explore and analyze simultaneous influence of work environment and leadership of the principal on motivation of teachers’ in Cluster 1 Ampana Tete Sub-District of Tojo Una-Una; 2) to explore and analyze the influence of work environment on motivation of teachers’ in Cluster 1 Ampana Tete Sub-District of Tojo Una-Una; 3) to explore and analyze the influence of leadership of the principal on motivation of teachers’ in Cluster 1 Ampana Tete Sub-District of Tojo Una-Una. The study is descriptive quantitative and includes 85 teachers as respondents who selected with census method. The results of multiple linear regressions analysis show that: 1) work environment and leadership of the principal simultaneously influence motivation of teachers’ in Cluster 1 Ampana Tete Sub-District of Tojo Una-Una; 2) work environment positively and significantly influence motivation of teachers’ in Cluster 1 Ampana Tete Sub-District of Tojo Una-Una; 3) leadership of the principal positively and significantly influence motivation of teachers’ in Cluster 1 Ampana Tete Sub-District of Tojo Una- Una.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Implementation of Integrated Administrasion Service Program in East Palu Distict of Palu City (A Study of e-KTP Service Program Implementation). The research used descriptive qualitative method with data collection covered observation, interview, and documentation. The informan was 5 people selected through purposive sampling. The research results reveal that the Implementation of Integrated Administration Service Program in East Palu District of Palu City (A Study of e-KTP Service Program Implementation) is not optimal yet, due to some aspects affects it, namely 1) Communication aspect is already good, 2) Resourcces aspect is not good yet, 3) Disposition aspect is not good yet too, and 4) Bureaucratic Strukture aspect is not good as well.

Abstract

In an organization, both formal and non-formal, the human role are very dominant as a driving force in the running of the organization to achieve the goals that have been set. Human resources holds a very important role where human resources is seen as a major driving factor in determining the success of an organization. This study used motivational variables consisting of the factors of motivator and hygiene as independent variables and the employee performance factor as dependent variable. The type of research used in this study was descriptive and quantitative. The research location is North Mamuju Board for Food Security and Counselors. The samples involved in this study were 75 people who were employees at various levels. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Questionnaires was used as a medium to get data from the respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression method. The results of this study showed that motivation comprising the factors of motivator and hygiene simultaneously had positive and significant influence on employee performance. Partially, the motivator factor had positive and significant relationship to employee performance. Meanwhile, the hygiene factor partially did not had relationship to employee performance. The results of this study could be used as an input by North Mamuju Board for Food Security and Counselors in improving employee performance. The results also can strengthen motivation theories that had been studied in several research. Future studies should include other variables in order that generalization of this theory can be strengthened in relation to the performance aspect.

Abstract

The study focuses on three independent variables that are competency, discipline, and work environment, and one dependent variable, service quality. Competency refers to 5 dimensions  namely: motive, character, self-concept, knowledge, and skills. Discipline refers to regulations, workload, and proud of institution. Work environment covers  dimensions of peers,  infrastructure,  and comfort the workplace. Variable of service quality refers to direct evidence, reliability, responsiveness, guarantee, and empathy. The aim of the study is to determine and analyze simultaneous and partial influence of competency, discipline, and work environment on service quality at The Regional Development Bank of Tojo Una-Una District. Instrument of the study is questionnaires. The study finds that competency, discipline, and work environment simultaneosly and partially have significant influence on service quality at The Regional Development Bank of Tojo Una-Una District.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effort that made to revitalize of settlement area in riverbanks Palu and find out the public response on implementation of the revitalization. Type of research was qualitative, while the method used survey. The research show that implementation of the revitalization of the settlement riverbanks Palu area can have a positive impact on public economic with the space of economic activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) to explore and analyze the implementation of school-based management and 2) to explore and analyze the management of school operational support grants in elementary schools in the area of Ratolindo Sub-District, Tojo Una-Una. The study applies descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Sample includes 33 respondents from 3 schools (SDN 8, SDN 3, and SDN 12) as the largest beneficiaries of BOS grant that is pusposively selected. Respondents are the principals, treasurer who handles BOS grants in The Department of Education, Youth, and Sport, teacher representatives, school committees, and student parents. The result shows that the implementation of school-based management in elementary schools in the area of Ratolindo Sub-District, Tojo Una-Una is rated ‘good’ with a mean of 4.48. Indicator with the higest mean is solid teamwork with independency and accountability in managing the school operational support grants. The ‘weak’ indicator relates with participation in decision making. Also, participation level of parents, especially in celebration of national holidays that are not covered by BOS grants. Overall the management of BOS grants is rated ‘good’ with mean of 4.69. Indicator with the highest mean in the preparation of school-budget plan, budget verification, and transaprancy and accountability in managing the grant. However, there is a school, SDN 12, which does not open access for parents to report transparency-related matters. Furthermore, SDN 8 has not posted information of  “free of cost education or this school is secured by BOS funds”.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the operational impact of Pasigala SPAM development on agricultural land of Oloboju village of Sigi Regency of Central Sulawesi. The theory used is the theory of “Land Rent” proposed by Ricardo which consists of several factors that serve as a benchmark. The assumption used in Ricardo’s theory is a fertile area, where the land is used only for farming and subsistence. One important feature in the development of agricultural areas is the need for a vast land area and meets the scale of the economy. Rent will arise if there is an increase in the number of population and increased demand for land, so that the value of rent is influenced by the quality of the land. Increase in the number of population one of them is the absorption of labor that became one factor/impact of the operational of the Pasigala SPAM. This research used descriptive explorative method. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, document review and observation. Respondent was determined by applying purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by interactive analysis with its component that is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of the research reveal that the impact of operational Pasigala SPAM on the agricultural land of Oloboju villagers is quite significant, among others: (1)The need for land as one of the important characteristics in the development of agricultural areas and meet the economic scale. (2) Land quality according to Land Rent theory that rent value is influenced by land quality. (3) The increase of people’s income due to the absorption of manpower. (4) The absorption of labor due to the development of Pasigala SPAM, but not always have direct impact. (5) Employment alse affects the emergence of economic activities with the creation of new job sources. (6) The emergence of economic activity and new job sources allows increased demand for new land. (7) The higher demand for the land will at times threaten the quality of the land and at times will change the function due to land conversion. (8) The impact of externalities that appears both positive and negative.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Implementation of Policy in the Regulation of Creative Field Traders at the Office of Police Unit of Pamong Praja City of Palu. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained by observation data and in-depth interviews. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the determination of informants using purposive techniques. The research technique using interactive model. Based on the four indicators of research, namely Communication, Resource, Disposition, Organizational Structure, showing in the implementation of Policy Implementation In the Regulation of Creative Field Traders At the Office of Police Unit of Pamong Praja City of Palu, has not run maximally, where indicator of communication and resources has not run As it should, because the socialization has not run in accordance with expectations where there is still no good communication between Satpol PP with policy goals, in the form of socialization routinely and information provided. As well as constraints from the aspect of existing equipment resources in the indicator Resources can be concluded not yet sufficient where the volume number of Satpol PP officers is inversely proportional to the means owned. The other two indicators have been running in accordance with the expectations for the attitude disposition aspect taken by Satpol PP has been in accordance with the steps to be taken and the bureaucratic structure indicator that has two aspects of both the SOP and the division of authority has been implemented properly.
