Abstract

ABSTRACT                The coverage of under-five children weighed is an indicator of community participation in Posyandu. During 2012 until 2014, Puskesmas Kenjeran had not reached the target of this indicator. The objective of this study is to arrange recommendations for Posyandu utilization improvement based on total customer sacrifice analysis. This was a quantitative analytical study with observational approach and cross sectional design. The sampling was calculated by using multistage random sampling method. The interviews through instrument were conducted to 112 respondents to obtain information on Posyandu utilization and respondents sacrifice required to utilize Posyandu. The results showed that respondents thought time was the greatest sacrifice among monetary, energy, and psychological sacrifices. Spearman correlation test on any sacrifice required showed significant correlation (p<0.05), except for monetary sacrifice.This study concluded that even total customer sacrifices was very small, but the huge expense of time spent still made respondents to be less likely to utilize Posyandu. Therefore, efforts are needed to reduce the magnitude of the sacrifice required by community utilizing Posyandu in Puskesmas Kenjeran area. Keywords: Posyandu utilization, total customer sacrifices, under-five children                    weighed

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stagnant and stockout of drug  are the effects from  the drug logistic management. In average of 52.43% stagnant and 19.08% stockout from 118 types of drugs in Primary Health Care from January to December 2014. This research aimed to analyzed drug management and the safety stock control of stagnant and stockout in Primary Health Care.This was quantitative research with descriptive method. Primary data was obtained by interview and observation. Secondary data obtained from LPLPO and drug planning data, it can be calculated for drug’s planning and safety stock required. Planning and procurement of drugs proposed for 2014 only has the suitability of 16,03% with the use of drugs by 2014. Receipt of drugs have a large enough discrepancy that is 76,93% of the demand for drugs in Primary Health Care. Distribution of drugs is less well with only 50% according to the procedure. Monitoring and control of the drugs have a quite well with 60% according to the procedure. While, no safety stock calculations at the Primary Health planning proposals in 2014. Process of drug management at Primary Health Care is not good enough. It needs improvements in systems planning, procurement, receipt, distribution, monitoring and control of drugs.  Keywords: drug management, safety stock control, primary health care

Abstract

ABSTRACT Diabetes Mellitus is one of disease related to nutrition. Diabetes Mellitusinpatient’s food waste plate is one of the manifestation of noncompliance to the diet program that have been recommended by health workers. This study analyzed the influence of noncompliance inpatients with Diabetes Mellitus diet in dr. M. Soewandhie Surabaya based on the theory compliance by Niven. This was analytic observasionalstudy with cross sectional design. This study used32 samples. Data were analyzed using linear regression test. The results showed that 64.7% of respondents who have a good attitude did notcomply to the diet, 85,7% of respondentswho noncompliance to the diet has very good belief. Meanwhile, 50% of respondents who di not understand the instruction from nutritionists belonging to noncompliance. Then 85.7% of respondents felt lack of support from their family classified as noncompliance category. While, 75% of respondents who feel very good quality interaction with nutritionists belonging to noncompliance respondent. While, 66,7% respondents who got enough support from nutritioniststned to comply the diet. The study showed that official support (nutritionists) influence the patient compliance (ρ = 0,000) with a value of B = -6. Abstract

ABSTRACTAntenatal care in last three years at Kecamatan Kejayan did not reach the target, 100% for K1 and 95% for K4. This research aims to analyze the correlation of midwife’s cooperation, motivation, attitude, and performance on antenatal care in non insurance and insurance patients group. This is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. Spearman Correlation and Coeficient Contingency were used in this research to analyze the data. 36 midwifes were interviewed to obtain data.The results show that majority midwifes has cooperation with primary health care. Midwife’s motivation was high and attitude was positive. Midwife’s performance to non insurance and insurance patients was very high. There was moderate correlation (r=0,446) between cooperation (midwife with primary health care) and the performance to non insurance patients. There was very weak correlation (r=0,111) between cooperation (mindwife with doctor) and performance to insurance patients, and weak correlation (r=0,311) to non insurance patients. There was weak correlation (r=0,086) between motivation and performance to insurance patients, whereas correlation to non insurance was moderate (r=0,521). There was strong correlation (r=0,707) between attitude and performance to non insurance patient. Abstract

ABSTRACT             The increased number of complaint patient indicated performance gap of medical records officer. Training needs assessment was a systematically order of process to discover and identified the existence of a disparity performance caused by a lack of knowledge, attitude and skills in doing the work. Individual analysis identified a disparity between requirements of work to requirement an organization that owned by their respective employee. The purpose of this study was to develop a training needs medical records staff at Undaan Surabaya Eye Hospital,  based on the training needs assessment through individual analysis.This was a descriptive study, subject of research were medical record officers who works in Undaan Surabaya Eye Hospital. More that 56,00% was included in good category knowledge. The most medical records officers has 88% excellent working attitude, skilled officers medical records in conducted technical work related duties 77.78% good category, and softkills as a whole into the category of a good 49,5%. This study concluded be taken from this study was the training needs of medical record staff in Undaan Eye Hospital Surabaya generally was training on knowledge and skill of management medical records. Keywords :individual analysis, medical record staff, training need assessment

Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on data from January - April 2014 found that obedience of prescription writing based on formularium in Outpatient Installation of Islam Jemursari Hospital only amounted to 87.9%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the obedience of prescription writing based on formularium. This study was an observational analitic cross sectional study. Data analysis using Spearman correlation test (α = 0.05). Obedience of prescription writing based on formularium mostly in the category of obedience (37.8%). Spearman correlation test showed no correlation between the status of the location (p = 0.166), the legitimacy of authority figures (p = 0.841), and the status of an authority figure (p=0,549) with the obedience of prescription writing based on formularium (p = 0.166). There was a significant relationship between personal responsibility (p = 0.005), peer support (p = 0.007), and the proximity of authority figures (p = 0.002) with obedience of prescription writing based on formularium. The conclusion that can be drawn is appropriate prescribing formulary can be improved by providing incentives and sanctions of the pieces and there are electronic formulary list. Keywords: formulary, obedience, prescription

Abstract

ABSTRACT The number of non-emergency patients is high from normative visit an indication of problems in the Emergency Room. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between the patient's assessment of the provider or hospital with emergency status. This study examines the factors that exist in hospitals, among others, policy about patients who come, the physical condition of buildings, facilities, skilled human resources. The study involved 172 patients who ever went to the Emergency Room RSUD Ibnu Sina Kabupaten Gresik in June 2014, data were taken with visit their homes to conduct interviews based on a questionnaire. The independent variable in this study is the emergency of the patient's status while the dependent variable is the policy of the patients who come, the physical condition of buildings, facilities, skilled human resources. Data were analyzed using the relationship test Chi-square (α = 0.05). The study states that the factors comprising hospital policy on patients who come, the physical condition of buildings, facilities and skilled human resources and discipline to have a relationship with the emergency of the patient's status. Variable physical condition of buildings, facilities and skilled human resources need to be considered and improved the quality of emergency services. Keywords: facilities, hospital, status of emergency, the physical condition of                    buildings

Abstract

ABSTRACT Brand knowledge is an information and public knowledge measurement related to consuming product. Low of care visit in clinical care of specialist dental health and hospital are 22% from maximum supply count each year, so it needs to analyze the decision of choosing Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital based on brand knowledge. This study was an observational analytic, and based on the time, this study was cross-sectional study with stratified random sampling. There were 100 respondents that participated in this study. Statistical test used logistic regression. The result of this study indicated that there was no effectbetween brand awareness with the public desicion to visit Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital (p=0,746) and also there was no effectbetween brand image with the public decision to visit Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital (p=0,138). This study concluded that there was no effectof brand knowledge (that consists of brand awareness and brand image) toward the public decision in choosing Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital. According to the result, Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital should improve their medical service quality by advertising and dissemination of their medical service information. Keywords: brand awareness, brand image, brand knowledge,  decision,                           hospital

Abstract

ABSTRACT Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) was a method for calculating the number of health worker in Public Health Center. However, the result from previous studies show that this method had some weakness. Public Health Center in Pacarkeling Surabaya had problem in the shortage of health worker. Previously, Workload Indicators of Staffing Need was applied to assess the health worker. This study identified the weakness of WISN by company to the objective workload. This was an observational study by using total population of medical, midwifery, and nursing staff in Pacarkeling Surabaya Public Health Center. WISN calculation method was performed to get the final result. They were the number of staff needs and the value of ratio. This ratio compared with the result of objective workload calculating to show the weakness of WISN method. WISN method is not appropriate when applied in Public Health Center. There were some weakness in the WISN method that made this method was less accurate. It is because health worker don’t carry out their job based on main duty, the method using data from previous years and don’t pay attention to labor of productivity. Keyword: weakness of WISN, the number of health worker, Public Health                      Center

Abstract

ABSTRACT There are many factors that determine health care service quality. One of them is the internal factor. This research was done to arrange recomendation increasingdental polyclinic utilization based on Dabholkar quality dimention.This was an observational study with cross sectional design of the 70 respondents who are representing dental polyclinic’s patient in a month. Data were collected by questionnaires distributed to respondents to identify the respondent’s assessment and expectation about physical aspects dimension, reliability dimension, personal interaction dimension, problem solving dimension, and policy dimension of dental polyclinic service quality. The conformity between assessment and expectation of respondentson service quality was analyzed based on Dabholkar quality dimension by using spider web. The results showed that most dimensions have been suitable about reliability dimension, personal interaction dimension and problem solving dimension. While the conformity of physical aspects dimension and policy dimension are not quite good. The conclusions showed that physical aspects dimension and policy dimension are the top priority, while reliability dimension, personal interaction dimension and problem solving dimensionneed repairement are still need to be maintained.  Keywords: Dabholkar quality dimension, physical aspects dimension, policy                     dimension
