Abstract

This study aims to describe and how much influence the spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence to the learning outcomes of mathematics either directly or indirectly through the negative impact of social networking, and divergent thinking skills students learn. This type of research is ex-post facto nature of causality. This study population is students of class X SMA Se-District of Bontotiro Bulukumba the school year 2014/2015 as many as 765 with a sample size of 175. Engineering samples is done by using proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument used in this study were (1) Methods documentation for learning outcomes, (2) Scale spiritual intelligence, (3) Scale of emotional intelligence, (4) The scale of the negative impact of social networking, (5) Test divergent thinking skills. Data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistical methods SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The results showed that: (1) Most of the students have spiritual intelligence is in the category of high emotional intelligence are in the high category, the negative impact of social networking are in the low category, divergent thinking skills are in high category and yield learning mathematics are in the high category ; (2) Directly spiritual intelligence positive and significant effect on the results of students' mathematics learning, indirectly positive effect but not significant to the results of students' mathematics learning through the negative impact of social networking and indirect positive and significant impact on the results of students' mathematics learning through capability divergent thinking. (3) Directly emotional intelligence positive and significant effect on the results of students' mathematics learning, indirectly positive effect but not significant to the results of students' mathematics learning through the negative impact of social networking and indirect positive and significant impact on the results of students' mathematics learning through capability divergent thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intelligence, task commitment and self efficacy towards learning outcomes math class X SMA country Bulukumba District of Bulukumba. This type of research is ex-post facto nature of causality. The population in the study were students of Class X SMAN in District Bulukmpa Bulukumba 2014/2015 school year as many as 420 students and 201 students sample, taken by using proportional random sampling. The instrument used consisted of intelligence tests (tests of verbal linguistic intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence and visual-spatial), self-efficacy scale and the scale of task commitment and math achievement test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics that path analysis (path anlysis). The research concludes that: (i) Most students of class X SMA in Bulukumba, have intelligence with the category average, task commitment in learning mathematics with high category, self-efficacy in mathematics with high category and yield learning mathematics are the very low category. (Ii) a variable that significantly that intelligence directly influence the outcome of learning mathematics, self-efficacy directly influence learning outcomes and task commitment directly influence the results of students' mathematics learning, intelligence indirect effect on the result of learning mathematics through task commitment and self-efficacy influential indirectly of mathematics learning outcomes through task commitment.

Abstract

The study was conducted with the purpose to describe the students’ motivation in practicing Lesson Study at Teaching Practice Program (PPL) for increasing their pedagogic competence. There were five teacher trainees who joined in Teaching Practice Program and they were as teacher models in Lesson Study at SMP Negeri 3, 5 and 7 in Tarakan. Research design of this research was describtive qualititave with snowballing technique data analysis started on April to October, 2016. Lesson Study consists of three steps; Plan, Do and See. The result of the research can be revealed that 1) students, as teacher trainees, are able to improve their teachng quality through practicing Lesson Study at SMP by having good lesson plan, teaching preparation, classroom management, teaching instructional material, good interaction between teacher and students, 2) the Lesson Study also has significant role in empowering English language teacher trainees to generate the students’ performance at the classroom interaction by sharing idea from all teacher trainees in teaching reflection session.

Abstract

The study aims at examining (1) the correlation of learning interest towards learning result of grade students, (2) the correlation of learning motivation towards learning result of grade students, (3) the correlation of students attitude towards learning result, (4) the correlationof interest, learning motivation, and attitude collaboratively towards learning result. The study is an ex post facto. The population of the study was grade VIII at SMPN 13 Makassar. Samples were 105 students taken by employing random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaire and documentation. Data were analyzed using regression test. The result of study reveal that (1) there is significant correlation (p<0,01) of interest towards learning result of grade VIII students at SMPN 13 Makassar. Co-efficient correlation (r) is 0,718 and its effectiveness contribution (R2) is 51,5%, (2) there is significant correlation (p<0,01) of motivation towards learning result of grade VIII students at SMPN 13 Makassar. Co-efficient correlation (r) is 0,775 and its effectiveness contribution (R2) is 60,1%, (3) there is significant correlation (p<0,01) of attitude towards learning result of grade VIII students at SMPN 13 Makassar. Co-efficient correlation (r) is 0,737 and its effectiveness contribution (R2) is 54,4%, (4) there is significant correlation (p<0,01) of interest, motivation and attitude collaboratively towards learning result of grade VIII students at SMPN 13 Makassar. Co-efficient correlation (r) is 0,861 and its effectiveness contribution (R2) is 74,1%,

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1). Evaluate the impact of inflation and the weakening of the rupiah against US $ against unemployment, poverty. (2). Obtain some alternative ways to overcome inflation and weakening of rupiah exchange rate against US dollar in maintaining stability of welfare of SMEs in Lombok region. (3) To evaluate the marketing system used by MSMEs (4) To know the obstacles faced by MSMEs (5) To know the related sectors in supporting the success of UMKM. Method of research used descriptive and qualitative method, with literary study approach, Data Collection, using participant observation and in-depth interviews. Data Validity, with triangulation method of source, method and time. The results show that the SME sector has contributed to the economic and development of Indonesia. There are several factors that challenge the development of SMEs.

Abstract

The research aims was conducted to develop independent learning devices with open-questfon basis in fomrs of Satuan Acara Perkuliahan (SAP) or Course Unit and Module. The development process of independent learning devices with open-questions basis refered to Plomp's development model, namely: (1) Preliminary Investigation Phase, consisted of theoretical literature study, learning problem analysis, curriculum analysis, students’ characteristics analysis, and conceptual analysis; (2) Design phase, where the researcher designed the necessary learning devices and research instruments; (3) Realization/ Construction phase, where the researcher produced the learning devices amd research instruments based on the design form of the design phase; (4) Test, evaluation and revision phase, conducted in two main activities: (a) Learning devices validation, and (b) Trial process. The results of development of learning devices reveal that: (1) the learning devices have met validation criteria (valid: 2.5 ≤ M ≤ 3.5) based on validation average score of two assessors on SAP is 3.48, and the module is 3.42, (2) the development of learning devices have met the practical criteria (implemented entirely: 1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0) based on the average score of learning implementation aspect from two observer, 1.54; (3) the development of leaming devices is stated as effective because the students' classical learning completeness is 87% which have met the completeness criteria, where minimal 85% of the sfudents, 24 students or 61% of them obtain creative score above minimal standard of 65, students' activity can be stated as ideal because each activity is in the tolerant given time, and 75% of the students give positive response to learning instruments and learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of student learning habits in SMA Negeri I pangkep, and to determine whether there is influence problem solving techniques in improving student learning habits. This research comparative research is experimental. The sample of research class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 were 32 students. Data collection technique with questionnaire while data analysis used is descriptive analysis, Barleth test and inferential statistical analysis with t-test formula. The results obtained are: the level of student learning habits in SMA Negeri I pangkep Pretest results both the experimental group and the average control group is low. After doing problem solving technique for experiment group, Postest value showed increase of study habits become high, while for control group of Postest value did not show improvement or remain in low category. Similarly, there are differences in learning habits between students who were given problem solving techniques with students who were not given problem solving techniques in SMA Negeri 1 pangkep. That is, for groups of students who are given problem solving techniques, student learning habits show improvement compared with groups of students who are not given problem solving techniques.

Abstract

This research was that aimed: 1) to know teachers academic qualification that basically from elementary education field and non elementary education field, 2) to know teachers professional attitude that basically from elementary education field and non elementary education field, 3) to know teachers learning performance that basically from elementary education field and non elementary education field 4) to find out the correlation of teacher academic qualification and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 5) to find out the correlation of teacher academic qualification and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field, 6) to find out the correlation of teacher professional attitude and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 7) to find out the correlation of teacher professional attitude and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field and 8) to find out the correlation of academic qualification and professional attitude to learning performance. The method used was ex post facto with correlational form. The population in the study are 28 elementary school teacher spread in 14 villages at Ajangale District Bone Regency. Researcher use population as sample in the study. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferensial. The data obtained from samples were analyzed by simple and multiple correlation. The result shows: 1) Teacher academic qualification are basically from non elementary education field, 2) teacher professional attitude from elementary education field are higher than non elementary education field, 3) teacher learning performance from elementary education field are higher than non elementary education field, 4) there is a positive and significant correlation of academic qualification and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 5) there is a positive and significant correlation of academic qualification and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field, 6) there is a positive and significant correlation of professional attitude and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 7) there is a positive and significant correlation of professional attitude and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field, and 8) there is a positive and significant correlation of academic qualification and professional attitude all together to learning performance.

Abstract

This study examines patterns of parenting and the child's self reliance. The research problem is whether there is a relationship between parenting parents and the child's self reliance? The research questions: (1) which type of parenting is now used parents in an effort to increase the child's self reliance? (2) Which type of parenting that can increase the child's self reliance? (3) Is there a relationship between parenting parents and the child's self reliance? The purpose of research is to determine: (1) the type of parenting parents present in order to increase the child's self reliance, (2) the type of parenting can increase the child's self reliance, (3) the relationship between parenting parents and the child's self reliance. The study population is the students of Junior High School in the city of Makassar. Data were collected through scale/questionnaire. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that: (1) the type of parenting parents used today to improve their self-reliance, respectively: positive parenting, democratic, authoritarian, permissive, negative/ unhealthy, and neglectful; (2) positive parenting and democratic can increase the child's self reliance, and 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between parenting parents and the child's self reliance.
