Abstract

The study was conducted with the purpose to describe the students’ motivation in practicing Lesson Study at Teaching Practice Program (PPL) for increasing their pedagogic competence. There were five teacher trainees who joined in Teaching Practice Program and they were as teacher models in Lesson Study at SMP Negeri 3, 5 and 7 in Tarakan. Research design of this research was describtive qualititave with snowballing technique data analysis started on April to October, 2016. Lesson Study consists of three steps; Plan, Do and See. The result of the research can be revealed that 1) students, as teacher trainees, are able to improve their teachng quality through practicing Lesson Study at SMP by having good lesson plan, teaching preparation, classroom management, teaching instructional material, good interaction between teacher and students, 2) the Lesson Study also has significant role in empowering English language teacher trainees to generate the students’ performance at the classroom interaction by sharing idea from all teacher trainees in teaching reflection session.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru di Tarakan dan Bulungan terkait Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Terdapat 3 hal yang diukur, yaitu pemahaman terkait proses, materi dan penilaian. Hal yang cukup menarik, terdapat persentase yang besar terkait pemahaman guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Persentase guru SD yang kurang paham sebesar 52,63%, guru SMP sebesar 26,08%, dan guru SMA sebesar 40,62%. Kata kunciKurikulum 2013, Pemahaman Guru

Abstract

Konflik sosial yang pernah terjadi harus menjadi pelajaran berarti bagi generasi selanjutnya. Upaya terbaik adalah memberikan pendidikan bagi generasi yang saat ini belajar di bangku sekolah untuk dapat mengali hikmah dari sebuah konflik. Pendekatan yang paling mendekati upaya preventif dan promotive adalah Pendidikan multikultural adalah jenis pendidikan yang memungkinkan generasi dengan latar belakang yang beragam untuk menerima dan mengatasi perbedaan mereka, untuk tidak menghakimi dan menerima perbedaan. Hak semua peserta didik untuk mengembangkan ekspresi linguistik, budaya dan agama serta potensi mereka dalam mewujudkan nilai-nilai persatuan. Konsep multikultural Indonesia adalah ideologi penting bagi proses belajar dan pembelajaran di Sekolah.

Abstract

Changes in information and communication technology necessitate rapid adaptation in the application of technology to the learning process in education. As participants in learning activities, teachers are required to be able to develop engaging, technology-based learning models, one of which is the use of interactive multimedia learning resources. In vocational high school learning, there are 2D animation courses that teach the fundamentals of creating 2D animation. This subject is interesting because it can be a forum for students' creative skills; therefore, it is highly appropriate to use Interactive Learning media, which can reduce a static atmosphere and create an effective, interesting, interactive, and enjoyable learning process. In this study, interactive multimedia learning is implemented in 2D animation classes in vocational high schools by modifying the 2D animation learning curriculum. The approach of application development employs the Multimedia Development Life Cycle model, which comprises of the steps of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, and testing. The concept of multimedia design employs the notion of simplicity, which tries to make the material's content not overly complex, concise, clear, instructive, and convincing in order to pique students' interest. Testing the program utilizing a blackbox technique that demonstrates the application has functioned properly and is in compliance with the user needs analysis.

Abstract

The development of telecommunications in Indonesia has significantly affected the emergence of the digital age, as the internet has become a daily necessity for community activities. Information and communication technology (ICT)-based learning is influencing teaching methods and learning media to use the internet for the learning process in the field of education. This study aims to analyze and graphically present data on the internet usage of rural and urban residents in all Indonesian provinces concerning their education levels. The presented data is in the form of types of internet usage that support the learning process so that it can become predominant in the use of the internet by rural and urban areas and serve as a positive input for internet service providers in the improvement of education-related services. The results indicated that using the Internet to support the learning process by communities in rural and urban areas of Indonesian provinces is one of the goals of using the Internet to obtain information for the learning process is 10%. D.I.Yogyakarta has the highest percentage 58,1%, indicating the most significant number of internet users for educational purposes. When students and student users access the internet to support the learning process, they engage in a variety of activities, including doing assignments, accessing e-learning tools, accessing media information to support learning, using web browsers to display social media, and accessing e-mail to submit assignments using smartphone media, which is the most prevalent form of internet access.

Abstract

This study attempted to outline the benefits and drawbacks of using Google Form as an assessment tool for English classes at SMP N 5 Tarakan. The Google Form itself is a component of a Google features that may gather data from different responses to different purposes, like surveys and task media. This study examined how Google Form could be used as an evaluation, which should make teaching and learning more convenient. The descriptive qualitative method was employed in this investigation. Study of documentation, observation, and interviews were all used in collecting of data, which was then qualitatively assessed using a coding system and narratively recounted. The subjects of this study were English teachers and students who were represented based on the highest scores in English subjects from each class. The results of this study indicated there were both advantages and disadvantages to using Google Form as a tool for learning evaluation by English teachers and student from the planning, preparation, and readiness stages of facilities and infrastructure to the implementation stage, using Google Form had an impact and benefits in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. The Google Form substantially benefited teachers in terms of money, time, and effort. It aided students in completing practical assignments more succesfully and with greater statisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud untuk menganalisis efektivitas pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pada pada sekolah boarding yaitu MA Hubulo, dimana madrasah tersebut mempunyai visi-misi terkait dengan pendidikan karakter yang diwujudkan melalui aktifitas pembelajaran baik di sekolah, kelas dan asrama sehingga menarik untuk dilakukan penelitian. Kajian ini dilaksanakan dengan memakai metode kajian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Data riset diperoleh melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul ditabulasi dan dianalisis untuk mengetahui impelementasi pendidikan karakter yang di laksanakan di MA Hubulo. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan jika berbagai nilai karakter yang dilakukan pengembangan dengan model yang habituasi, integrasi, keteladanan serta manajamen lingkungan yang kondusif dalam pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter. Kajian ini juga menunjukan bahwa Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pada sekolah boarding terbukti efektif di tengah-tengah kemajuan teknologi saat ini.

Abstract

Competition in the business world is accompanied by the development of the world of information and communication technology. Technological advances promote digital business trends that require every goods or service company to be able to present their merchandise online, either on business websites or on existing e-commerce platforms, and support digital transactions. between seller and buyer. The ease of transaction for customers is a crucial aspect of the service and process of buying and selling. In an effort to thrive in the competitive business environment, it is a struggle for businesspeople to deliver services that suit the needs of their clients since customers are becoming more discerning and their comfort standards are rising. Improving service to customers is the primary focus of every business in order to consider ways and business processes to maintain customer loyalty; therefore, the objective of this research is to design and build a computerized system to make it easier for businesses to manage the transaction process and to determine the superior features of the system in relation to improving service to customers. By installing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, you may acquire new clients and keep the loyalty of existing ones. The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is established to aid administrators in the management of transactional operations, product management, flagship initiatives, and customer promotions. as envisioned and valid for all primary system menu functions, so that it can be developed throughout the implementation phase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis terkait bagaimana manajemen pendidikan berbasis moderasi beragama serta bagaimana upaya dalam mengimplementasikannya di era digital saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian studi pustaka dengan pendekatan filosofis atau analisis konten dari berbagai literature, baik dari buku, jurnal dan literasi terkait lainnya. Adapun penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, Indonesia ialah sebuah negara yang majemuk, dimana di dalamnya terdapat berbagai ras, agama, suku yang beragam. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan manajemen pendidikan berbasis moderasi beragama, agar setiap individu dapat memahami akan perbedaan di negara kita ini. Usaha yang serius diperlukan untuk menerapkan manajemen pendidikan berbasis moderasi beragama, dimana usaha tersebut mesti didukung oleh berbagai hal pokok, diantaranya ialah: pemahaman ataupun pengetahuan yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan keadaan negara kita, pengendalian serta keseimbangan emosi, kehati-hatian serta kewaspadaan yang berkesinambungan, misalnya perlu adanya integrasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam pembelajaran termasuk dalam pemanfaatan literasi digital. Impelementasi praktisnya di era digital ini dimana moderasi beragama bisa dijalankan diberbagai komponen misalnya impementasi pendidikan moderasi beragama pada pembelajaran serta kurikulum yang di manajerial secara sistemik dan integratif.

Abstract

The role of teachers and parents in enhancing the learning attainment of children is substantially facilitated by the accomplishment of learning objectives. Improving student accomplishment is dependent upon the importance of synergy between instructors and parents in the pursuit of learning objectives. The purpose of the study is to analyze the significance of teacher-parent communication in an effort to improve children's learning achievement in order to describe the form of cooperation and communication between parents and teachers in an effort to improve children's learning achievement so that teachers and parents can control children's abilities optimally so that the learning outcomes or learning achievements attained are more directed. Literature research or literature analysis is the research methodology. The results of the study indicate that controlling children's learning achievement through effective communication between parents or families at home and teachers at school can assist children in understanding their academic and non-academic potential, allowing them to engage in directed learning in an effort to improve learning achievement, if communication and services have been carried out effectively and receive feedback from both parties, namely teachers and parents.
