Abstract

Blue Ocean Strategy was a strategy to create uncontested market and make competition irrelevant. In blue ocean, demand is created rather than fought over. Canvas strategy and value curve was needed to create Blue Ocean Strategy.  Its a dinamic process to create a blue ocean, and always needed to check on value curve, in order to find know the time to create another blue ocean.  Altough a wellknown strategy, the implementation in Indonesia still rare and needed a manager with a long-term perspective and knowldge to execute this strategy.

Abstract

Succesfully firm to create a strong brand will be impact to consumer’s buying decision reinforcement. From the empirical study, Lake (2010) argue that strong brand will be push a consumer’s to increase a product purchase. That indicator will use to define a strong brand can be identified from the brand equity. Conceptually, there are four component which forming brand equity , that is Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Brand Image dan Perceived (Aaker, 1991).   The aims of the research is to test the influence of brand awareness, brand association and perceived quality to purchase decision on Nokia Handphone. The subject of research conducted to Trunjoyo University student which used a Nokia Product Brand. Total sample that used to this studi is 100 respondent, determined by using non probability purpossive sampling. Primary data were collected and analyzed by using the technics of Multiple Regression Analysis. The result of this research indicates that brand awareness variable (X1) brand assosiation variabel (X2) and  perceived quality variabel (X3) simultaneously has significant affect to purchase decision. From the partial test, each variables show has a significant effect to purchase decision. From the analisys also found that the dominant variable which influence to purchase decision is brand awareness.

Abstract

Telur puyuh  dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif diversifikasi protein dan swasembada protein di Indonesia. Bintang Tiga merupakan salah satu peternakan burung puyuh yang memproduksi telur di Bogor yang memiliki potensi untuk berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi bisnis serta merekomendasikan alternatif strategi untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2009. Penelitian ini menggunakan Matriks IFE dan EFE  untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal. Hasil Matriks IFE dan EFE digunakan untuk mengetahui posisi peternakan Tiga Bintang pada Matriks IE. Matriks SWOT merumuskan enam strategi alternatif yang didasarkan pada Matriks  IE. Pada akhirnya, matriks QSP (QSPM) menghasilkan prioritas strategis yang dapat diterapkan oleh perusahaan. Prioritas strategi tersebut adalah menjaga kualitas produk dan harga yang kompetitif.

Abstract

Service quality (servqual) in information system (IS) has been an interesting research topic recently. Various business types has emerged new dimensions of information system needs. IS servqual dimensions should be investigated through different kinds of business types.Previous studies has yield varying results. This research studies the effect of IS servqual dimension toward user satisfaction in e-voucher business. Data was collected from 108 respondents that are e-voucher reseller. There are five servqual dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. Tangible were excluded from test because IS provider does not facilitate hardware, employee, and any tangible asset to user. Based on regression result analysis, this research concluded that tested servqual dimensions has significantly influenced user satisfaction, unless assurance. This result shows that user satisfaction for business type that relied on IS as communication tool mostly influenced by reliability, responsiveness and empathy rather than assurrance. This might caused by However, further research needed to explore the usability of IS for reseller’s accounting data and to concern servqual dimension for another type of business and variable expansion also.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah mengetahui keandalan dan resiko bank syariah. Bank syariah mempunyai peran sebagai lembaga perantara (intermediary) antara satuan-satuan kelompok masyarakat atau unit-unit ekonomi yang mengalami kelebihan dana (surplus unit) dengan unit-unit lain yang mengalami kekurangan dana (deficit unit). Melalui bank kelebihan dana-dana tersebut dapat disalurkan kepada pihak-pihak yang  memerlukan dan memberikan manfaat kepada kedua belah pihak.    Bank berbasis bunga melaksanakan peran tersebut melalui kegiatannya sebagai peminjam dan pemberi pinjaman. Para pemilik dana tertarik untuk menyimpan dana di bank berdasarkan tingkat bunga yang dijanjikan. Demikian pula bank memberikan pinjaman kepada pihak-pihak yang memerlukan dana berdasarkan kemampuan mereka membayar tingkat bunga tertentu. Hubungan antara bank dengan nasabahnya adalah hubungan antara kreditur dan debitur.
