Abstract

Inside any e-commerce platform, search features are a key factor in an online business. In order to look for the desired item name, users need to type a pattern into the search feature. Inside the typing process users may make some mistypes. Based on the problem, the writer tried to create a search box as the search feature inside an e-commerce system with a capability to look for item names, even if there are some accidental mistypes inside the user's typing process. The main purpose is to reduce the possibility of empty results after a searching process due to the user’s accidental mistypes. This research utilizes Rabin Karp Algorithm in order to look for the item names. Result of this research is that the Rabin Karp Algorithm can be implemented in a website-based e-commerce, but this method is slower than SQL as a method to search item names inside the same system. It happens because Rabin Karp requires a longer process than SQL to get the similarity percentage from each comparison. This research shows that k-gram value inside the algorithm affects the overall results with a condition where greater the value.

Abstract

The Role of Information Systems (IS) in Information Technology Governance (ITG) has an important role in high school (SMA) educational institutions. ITG becomes very important for educational institutions in discussing the assessment of the correlation between Information Technology (IT) investment and business in each school. State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Ajibarang has problems with academic service software for student operations and teacher administration needs. IT investment and best services in accessing the needs of teachers and students are important references about school business. The purpose of this study was to analyze IS risk management at SMAN 1 Ajibarang school using the Control Objective for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) 4.1 Framework. This study uses quantitative research methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents to obtain data on validity and reliability tests for good results. The results of the analysis show that the value of the maturity level shows at level 3, which means the value is in the defined process position. The process of achieving its goals in a much more organized manner using organizational assets is well defined. The recommendation of this research is the need for repairing network installations at SMAN 1 Ajibarang and updating administrative software for teachers and students.

Abstract

Meeting minutes are important because they can track decisions and agreements made during the meeting. Meeting minutes can also be used as a benchmark for whether the meeting objectives have been achieved or not. Minutes are taken during the meeting until the end of the meeting, which contains essential points from the meeting. Minutes in online meetings are currently still done manually, and generally, every meeting is recorded as documentation that requires more Human Resources to change the recording of the meeting file Based on the problems above, a solution to this problem is needed by creating an automatic note-taking system that can assist the note-takers in concluding the meeting, especially in the Information Technology Department. This study uses the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method to determine topic modeling. Based on this research, the system calculation using the LDA method produces the results obtained on the coherence score and similarity score only get an average value of 64.56% and 57.91% where these values are still less than optimal if used in actual conditions.

Abstract

The role of Modern Technology (IT) is growing and is needed by many agencies including the government, one of which is Information Technology Governance (ITG). ITG has a role in relevant agencies related to IT and the best services to help staff and community activities become important related to the village head office business. The purpose of this study is to analyze IS risk management at the Setu Village Head Office using the Framework Control Objective for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) 4.1. This study uses quantitative research methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The questionnaire got the data validity and reliability test well. The data will be analyzed and get the results showing the maturity level at level 3 meaning that the values are in the specified position. To achieve the goal through a much more structured way, namely using assets from the organization that are owned and well defined. Recommendations for this research are the need for additional infrastructure such as computers, wifi or others and the addition of human resources in the IT department at the Setu Village Head Office

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact not only on health but also on human activities, one of which is economic transactions.  A number of policies related to health protocols have caused limitations for the community in transacting with each other. In relation to economic transactions, entrepreneurial transactions on campus have stopped due to policies related to the pandemic. To answer this problem, an invention called "Culinary Business Automatic Service Locker (Entrepreneurship Locker)" that based on the Internet of Things that implements financial technology in its payment method was created. The implementation of Financial Technology is intended to revive entrepreneurship on campus by providing a “new user experience” to all parties involved in these activities. In recent years, financial technology as a new concept in payments has been growing. The concept of finance technology is to create a payment platform where there is no longer a need for physical interaction between the seller and the buyer, because the transaction process occurs via digital. QRIS, which stands for Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard is one of the financial technology-based payment methods that has been authorized in Indonesia. There are two types of QRIS, namely static QRIS and dynamic QRIS. In this study, the dynamic QRIS API will be used because it is able to generate different nominal and QR codes for different transaction. In addition, an e-wallet is needed for users to support payments by scanning the QR code via smartphone. This research wants to see how the application of financial technology using dynamic QRIS and e-wallet to entrepreneurial lockers. The results showed that financial technology using dynamic QRIS and e-wallets can be utilized in the automatic payment system for entrepreneurial lockers

Abstract

Smart city is a concept of urban development that integrates information and communication technology (ICT) to enhance efficiency, quality of life, and environmental sustainability. The implementation of smart city has become increasingly popular in the last five years, with many countries developing smart city initiatives, such as the "Smart City Pilot" program in China and the development of smart city applications and platforms in the United States. In Indonesia, several major cities have started developing various digital applications and platforms to improve public service efficiency and encourage economic growth. However, there are still some challenges that need to be addressed, such as inadequate ICT infrastructure, lack of supportive regulations and policies, and insufficient active participation from the community. The use of IoT in smart city plays an important role in collecting real-time data from various connected sensors and devices, allowing for more accurate and timely decision-making. In the long term, this can help improve the overall quality of life of the community. In Indonesia the smart city movement is being intensively implemented by the government with the aim of creating 100 smart cities, so there needs to be efforts made to increase the development of smart cities in Indonesia.
