Abstract

The result of applying the embedded system in education for students is successfully applied in university. On the other side, many people in Indonesia use smart equipment’s (Hand phone, Remote), but none of those equipments are used in education. University as the source of knowledge should overcome the problem by encouraging the students to use a technology with learning about it first. Embedded System Practicum Module Design needs a prototype method so that the practicum module that is desired can be made. This method is often used in real life. A prototype considered of a part of a product that expresses logic and physical of external interface that is being displayed and this method will fully depend on user contentment. Embedded System Practicum Module Design is made to increase student comprehension of embedded system course and to encourage students to innovate, so that many technologies will be developed and also to help lecturers deliver course subjects. With this practicum it is hoped that the student comprehension will increase significantly. The result of this research is a decent practicum module, hardware or software that can help students to know better about technology and the course subjects so that it will encourage the students to create an embedded system technology. The result of the test has been done; there is an increase of learning value obtained by 7.8%.

Abstract

Social media is one of the communication media favored by people in the world, especially in Indonesia. This is evidenced by the results of the APJII survey which shows that the majority of Indonesians use social media in their daily activities. One of the advantages of social media is the dissemination of information faster than conventional media so that the quality of information disseminated is lower than conventional media due to the process of disseminating information not through the filter process. By measuring the level of credibility of the online newspaper based on the time credibility, website credibility, and message credibility factors and measuring the level of credibility on social media based on the time credibility, Social Media Credibility, and Message Credibility factors with different levels of weight, it will produce a news likelihood level it's fake news or facts.

Abstract

One consequence of a visually impaired (blind) person is a lack of ability in the activities related to the orientation and mobility. Blind person uses a stick as a tool to know the objects that surround him/her.The objective of this research is to develop a tool for blind person which is able to recognize what object in front of him/her when he/she is walking. An attached camera will obtain an image of an object which is then processed using template matching method to identify and trace the image of the object. After getting the image of the object, furthermore calculate and compare it with the data training. The output is produced in the form of sound that in accordance with the object. The result of this research is that the best slope and distance for the template matching method to properly detect silent objects is 90 degrees and 2 meters.

Abstract

Sistem Stanford Recognizing Textual Entailment adalah sistem yang dapat mendeteksi entailment maupun kontradiksi yang terkandung dalam pasangan kalimat Text dan Hypothesis.Pada tahun 2009, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan sistem Stanford RTE dengan menggabungkan sistem Stanford RTE pada tahun 2006 dengan sistem Stanford RTE pada tahun 2008.Salah satu kelemahan pada sistem Stanford RTE tahun 2009 adalah kesalahan deteksi kontradiksi pada pasangan kalimat Text dan Hypothesis mengandung ekspresi aritmatika.Untuk menutupi kelemahan tersebut, ditambahkan fitur aritmatika dalam sistem Stanford RTE yang khusus memproses pasangan kalimat Text dan Hypothesis mengandung ekspresi aritmatika.Fitur aritmatika dibangun dengan empat tahap utama, yaitu tahap analisa linguistik, tahap pencarian nilai kemiripan kata, tahap penentuan operator aritmatika, dan tahap penyimpulan entailment, kontradiksi, atau tidak diketahui.Fitur aritmatika telah dilakukan pengujian terhadap 30 pasang kalimat Text dan Hypothesis mengandung ekspresi aritmatika yang diambil dari halaman website berita dengan hasil tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 80%.

Abstract

Psychology is the study of human mental behavior and functions scientifically. In practice, a person's personality can be assessed from psychological tests. One of the psychological tests is the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). TAT Test is a projective psychological test consisting of various themes presented in the form of an image which is then projected accordingly with the response. The purpose of the TAT is to reveal the dynamics of the subject's personality in the form of encouragement, sediment, complex, and various dominant conflicts. Thematic Apperception Test still uses a card and tape recorder to record Testee's voice. Calculation of results or assessments is still done manually. Errors in the assessment will affect the results, so we need an intelligent information system using the vector space model method based on experience in the field of psychology. A web-based system which can provide personality test results and information about the Thematic Apperception Test. From the test results using 10 stories, it was found that the average precission value was 72.7%, the average recall value was 86.7%, and the average f-measure value was 78.3%.

Abstract

Pada Sekolah Tinggi Teknik PLN (STT-PLN) penentuan dosen penguji tugas akhir atau skripsimerupakan tugas dari sekretaris jurusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternativeuntuk menentukan dosen penguji skripsi. Metode yang di terapkan untuk membangun system iniadalah text mining, TF-IDF dan Vector Space Model (VSM). Text mining untuk melakukanprocessing data, dimana data yang akan diproses adalah judul dan abstrak skripsi, sedangkanVSM untuk melakukan pengklasifikasian kompetensi, penelitian ini dapat merekomendasikantiga dosen untuk menjadi dosen penguji skripsi berdasarkan kecocokan antara judul danabstrak dengan klasifikasi Pada penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan Model pengembanganperangkat lunak CRISP-DM. Adapun fase yang dimiliki oleh CRISP-DM adalah fasepemahaman bisnis, fase pemahanman data, fase pengolahan data, fase permodelan, faseevaluasi dan fase penyebaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini memiliki akurasi 93,22%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to predict HbA1c in diabetics. The obstacles behind the prediction of HbA1c is the limitations in the laboratory to provide services for diabetics regarding HbA1 check-up. HbA1c prediction is made by a combination of K-Means and C4.5 methods. K-Means is used to classify continuous data. From the results of the K-Means classification will be used by C4.5 to create a rule (decision tree). The prediction results obtained will be carried out as a validation process to determine the level of accuracy by using K-Fold Cross-Validation. The accuracy value obtained is 72%. The resulting benefit from the prediction of HbA1c can be used as an alternative solution to overcome limitations in the laboratory in terms of HbA1c check-up servicing and the results of HbA1c prediction can also be used as a recommendation by doctor in determining the medical decision for diabetics.

Abstract

The quality of educational facilities and infrastructure is a measure of the success of the teaching and learning process. Over time, these facilities and infrastructure will suffer damage and their quality will decline. Reports of damage to facilities and infrastructure are always made verbally. Another issue that arises is that Sarpras officers have not seen photographic evidence of the reported condition of the infrastructure. This problem can make it difficult for Sarpras agents to identify infrastructure. The reporting party often does not obtain information about the status of the response from the report. This issue is caused by the fact that no media can be used by the reporter to know the status of the reporting of user complaints. To minimize the reporting of damage errors, an information system can be applied. The application that can be applied in the problem of reporting damage to campus infrastructure is E-Reporting Infrastructure (ERI). This application aims to provide access for registrants and stakeholders to monitor each other's damage reports so that the priority scale for processing recommendations is immediately determined. The recommendations must be able to adapt to the variables which are the needs and priorities of management. The process of determining recommendations will be more stable if it is processed by an algorithm integrated into the ERI. The algorithm that will be applied is a practical and multi-criteria ranking algorithm, including Topsis and SAW. The computation results obtained will be compared in order to determine the efficiency and characteristics of the algorithm.

Abstract

Simulation application calculate the inverse order of 3x3 and 4x4 matrices developed to help students understand the process of finding the inverse of a matrix. To find out how the rate of admissions to the simulation application calculate the inverse matrix of order 3x3 and 4x4 tested using the method of User Acceptance Test. In this test data taken are students who have used the application. Based on the experiments, we concluded simulation application calculate the inverse matrix can be used as a medium of learning for students
