Abstract

This research was conducted from the factors inhibiting the implementation of the guidance and counseling program evaluation by teachers and guidance counseling. The research objective was to describe factors inhibiting the implementation of the guidance and counseling program evaluation by teachers guidance and counseling. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The population the guidance and counseling teachers amounting 89 people. Also 30 teachers there were chosen by random sampling cluster. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistic. The results of this study revealed that: 1) A total of 31.1% of teacher’s guidance and counseling  experiencing barriers to internal factor guidance and counseling program evaluation. 2) A total of 28.4% of teacher’s guidance and counseling experiencing barriers to external factors guidance and counseling program evaluation.

Abstract

Higher education is one of the places that can be used as a forum in the intellectualization of the nation, one of the important components in higher education in educating dance children is academic advisor. But in fact many Academic Advisers (PA) in many universities do not function, one of them as a counselor in the academic field. At STKIP PGRI West Sumatra academic advisors involved lecturers as counseling services. This is very important because students need academic advisors as counselors who can understand the problems they face in the study period. The results of this study indicate that on campus STKIP PGRI West Sumatra PA has a very important role in advancing students in the academic field, as well as helping students in developing careers that they must choose or determine

Abstract

This research is based on the researcher's awareness of the students who have low learning motivation that there are students who play in learning, lazy learning as disturbing his friends, telling when the teacher explained the lesson, playing Mobile, doodling his book that has nothing to do with lessons and doodling tables and student achievements that are still many under the minimum mastery criteria . This study aims to describe students' learning motivation. The sample in this study amounted to 210 students. This research is a research with quantitative descriptive approach. The result of this study shows that the students' learning motivation belongs to high category, based on the indicators of persistence in learning are in the high category, so the tenacious indicators are in high category, the interest indicator is in the high category and the independence indicator is in the category

Abstract

Adolescence is a time of self-discovery, one of the efforts made to achieve the identity of teenagers can be pursued with the achievement of a mature relationship with peers. Teenagers spend more time with their peers. Peer execution is very urgent in determining attitudes and behavior, as teenagers strive to be free from family and not dependent on their parents, so that any problems they face will be more likely to share the problem with their peers. Peer counseling is an activity of mutual care and interpersonal mutual assistance among fellow students that take place in everyday life, using active listening skills and problem-solving skills in equal position among peers. In SMA 1 Sungayang some students have attended peer counseling, one time, twice or even four times in peer counseling. This study aims to reveal the level of student motivation in following peer counseling. This research uses quantitative descriptive method, with 76 research sample (SeventySix) students. Data obtained through questionnaire, then continued with interpretation of data or process of interpreting data. The results of this study revealed that the motivation of students to follow peer counseling activities belong to the high category

Abstract

Sex education is one of the things taboo for some people or a group of people. The purpose of this study is to describe the opinion of adolescents to sex education received from parents, in terms of 1) Sex instruction and 2) education in sexuality. Based on data processing did it was revealed that the opinion of adolescents about sex education provided by parents is very useful for them, this is because it can help them how to maintain the body healthy, especially the reproductive system and how to behave in accordance with the values and norms prevailing in a community environment. Therefore it is expected in the parents and other components of society to be more attention and treat adolescents in accordance with the progress they are living, and guide them by being friends and friends who can understand what they want.
