Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of financing contracts on the risks confronted by Islamic banks measured by Non-Performing Financing (NPF). The data indicate that the value of NPF tends to annually increase along with a value close to the maximum limit set by Bank Indonesia (BI). The data of this study utilized secondary data in the form of monthly time series data in the period of January 2014 to December 2017 and cross-section data from the two types of Islamic Banking (Bank Usaha Syariah and Unit Usaha Syariah). The result indicates that the financing scheme which is based on the empirical scheme of profit-sharing schemes is proven to increase financing risk.

Abstract

Brand image is one of the important aspects of marketing, this also happens to the 212 minimarkets which is being discussed lately. The aims of this study are to understand the role of viral marketing on the formation of brand images and interest in shopping at minimarket 212. This study is qualitative using questi0nonaire as the method of data collection. The population of this research is the general population of Palembang aged 16-69 years who have sufficient knowledge of 212 minimarkets. The result of this study, are as follows: first, that viral marketing has a significant effect on the brand image (Est: 0.426; SE: 0.033; CR: 0.033; P: 000). Second, that viral marketing has a significant effect on behavioral intentions (Est: 0.261; SE: 0.040; CR: 6.538; P: 0.000). Third, that brand image has a significant effect on behavioral intentions (Est: 1,187; SE: 0,067; CR: 17,708; P: 0,000). Thus, the effect of viral marketing on shopping interest in a 212 minimarket has the smallest influence value among other variables which is only 0.26 point. However, with the brand image variable as an intervening variable, the effect is greater up to 0.50 point, this means that brand image which formed through viral marketing get a good response from the public to increase the willingness to shop.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the determinants of non-performing financing (NPF) in Islamic banks in Indonesia. The study objects are the Islamic banking industry during the first quarter of 2008 until the third quarter of 2019. The variables in this study are inflation, growth of Gross Domestic Product (PDB), and Bank Indonesia rate. The statistic method used is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The result shows that inflation shock significantly affects the trend of NPF, while others do not give significant effect to NPF of Islamic Banking.

Abstract

East Java is one of the potential provinces on the island of Java consisting of 29 districts and 9 cities. East Java is also a densely populated island, but as the population grows, so does the standard of living that must be fulfilled by the government. If this cannot be fulfilled, poverty will occur. So we need the other factors that can reduce the rate of poverty. The aims of this study is to determine the effect of the Human Development Index (HDI), Growt Rate Domestic Product (GDRP), and unemployment rates on the rate of poverty in the province of East Java in 2011 to 2018. The estimation results of the Data Panel model using Eviews 9 and Microsoft Excel 2007 software. It is known that the HDI, GRDP, and unemployment rates in 2011 to 2018 were able to reduce the number of poor people that occurred in the province of East Java. Besides variable of GRDP, variable of HDI in this study also played a major role in reducing the number of poor people. So in this case the role of the government is needed to improve the HDI in order to reduce the number of poor people in the province of East Java. Because HDI is one factor that in line with Islamic efforts in alleviating poverty.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) conducted which can be used in further research. Also to find out how the factors need to be grouping and then confirmed to assess the degree to which the data meet the expected structure. The author has conducted a survey of 124 respondents. The respondents were asked to give their responses on a five-point Likert scale through a questionnaire. The data has been analyzed with exploratory factor analysis (EFA) using Varimax rotation, which reduced the data into several factors. The findings of this study indicate that product, service satisfaction, price satisfaction, promotion, and customer hospitality influence customer satisfaction of Parklatz Café in Ponorogo City.

Transmisi Kebijakan Moneter Syariah:Sebuah AnalisaDaniarProgram Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi Islam,Universitas Airlangga, SurabayaE-mail: daniar@yahoo.comABSTRAKKebijakan moneter syariah sangat erat kaitannya dengan berbagai hal kegiatan ekonomi dalam upaya pencapaian pembangunan ekonomi yang memberikan kesejaheteraan bagi masyarakat. Makalah ini berusaha untuk menganalisa mekanisme instrumen moneter syariah dengan dua tujuan; pertama mengidentifikasi mekanisme kebijakan moneter syariah beserta alur transmisi kebijakannya. Kedua, melihat sejauh mana penerapan mekanisme kebijakan moneter syariah di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan di atas, maka peneliti berkesimpulan bahwa; mekanisme instrumen kebijakan moneter syariah masih perlu dikembangkan kembali dengan menggunakan akad-akad lainnya selain wadi’ah dalam SWBI dan ju’alah dalam SBSI. Selanjutnya, dibandingkan dengan negara Islam lainnya, Indonesia termasuk negara yang telah menjalankan instrumen kebijakan moneter syariah bersama dengan beberapa negara-negara lainnya. Namun bila dilihat dari progresnya Indonesia termasuk mengalami perlambatan dibandingkan Negara- negara lainnya.Kata Kunci: Kebijakan transmisi, Moneter Syari’ah, Transaksi Syari’ah

Selain tulis-menulis, persaksian juga berfungsi sebagai salah satu penunjang yang tidak bersifat wajib untuk menjaga kepercayaan dalam bertransaksi. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan sejauh mana persaksian itu dibutuhkan dan sejauh mana persaksian wanita itu dapat diaplikasikan. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian literatur (literature review) dimana diskusi didasarkan pada tinjauan pustaka yang relevan dengan topik dalam tulisan ini. Penulis berkesimpulan bahwa persaksian wanita dalam transaksi keuangan diperbolehkan asalkan memenuhi ketentuan satu laki-laki dan dua wanita serta dua orang laki-laki yang direkomendasikan di awal berhalangan. Jika tidak, maka kesaksian wanita tidak dapat diterima.Kata Kunci: Transaksi, fikih keuangan, persaksian wanita

In reality today, many current economic activities are capable of yielding good return, probably higher than those of the traditional sources of zakat. Thus zakat should also be considered on these wealth, where zakat base should not be limited only on the traditional sources but also should be expanded to other sources. This study attempts to identify the statute and fatwa of contemporary sources of zakat in Indonesia.Zakat bukanlah bentuk ibadah atau doktrin baku yang tidak dapat diubah, tetapi zakat merupakan ibadah maliyah yang harus dikaji dan dikembangkan berdasarkan realitas keadaan dan waktu (perkembangan zaman). Pada kenyataan sekarang, banyak aktifitas ekonomi yang dapat menghasilkan keuntungan yang menjanjikan, bahkan lebih besar dari pada sumber zakat tradisional. Dengan demikian zakat juga harus mempertimbangkan berbagai kekayaan tersebut, dimana zakat tidak hanya berdasarkan sebatas sumber-sumber tradisional tetapi juga harus diperluas pada sumber-sumber yang lain. Kajian ini mencoba untuk mengidentifikasi undang-udang dan fatwa sumber-sumber zakat kontemporer di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Penghasilan Kontemporer, Zakat, Fiqh Zakat, Ibadah Maliyyah, Undang-undang Zakat.

Dalam transaksi online, konsumen tidak memiliki kontak langsung dengan pedagang dan tidak bisa dengan mudah memverifikasi kualitas barang, sehingga menciptakan situasi di mana para pelaku transaki tidak pada kekuatan tawar yang sama. Oleh karena itu, penerapan khiyar akan membantu dalam melindungi hak-hak konsumen di dunia maya. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis jenis khiyar dan aplikasinya terhadap bisnis online yang sedang menjamur di Indonesia serta membandingkannya terhadap lazada, zalora dan blibli. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa khiyar aib diaplikasikan oleh ketiga situs tersebut, sedangkan khiyar ru’yah hanya diaplikasikan oleh lazada. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bersumber pada rujukan-rujukan yang sesuai dengan melakukan pendekatan komparatif kepada ketiga situs tersebut.Kata Kunci: Jual beli, Khiyar, Bisnis On-line

In order to find the deeper and more comprehensive research, The researcher limited this research only to four Islamic Economists of the early 21st Century, such as; M. Umer Chapra, Syed Nawab Haider Naqvi, Mohamed Ariff, Akram Khan. The conclusion of this study are as follows: first, the Muslim economists trying to solve problems that occur particularly in the case of dichotomies in the fulfillment of material needs and non-material need, although there are some flaws. Second, Muslim economists at least try to realize human well-being based on Islamic principles. Third, the Muslim economists are also tried to build the Islamic ethics as a discipline that was not present before.Keywords: Islamic Economist, Business Ethics, Islamic Business
