Abstract

Meaning sense of this paper is to explain and to analyze development process (insmallholder rubber sub sector) that have done by the government in Riau Province. Agriculturalsystem which plantation system is a compatible model with in local people. Afterwards for toexplain reality and to phenomenon analysis and what dynamic happen in that development, soanalysis and it’s examine pressured to literacy study and others theory and to use information’s.The development problems appear because of the modernization strategy that applied by thegovernment less accommodating local potential’s, with the result that local societies think that thedevelopment are not for them. And finally, development programs less popular in the societiesand can not supported by the people, so consequences social change not yet.

Abstract

One of effort to be company able to face the emulation is by creating and maintaining customer especiallyloyal customer because they represent the opportunity get the new customer and the end recurring purchasingwill be able to improve the sale and able to maintain the position which either in marketing.This research aim to know the factors determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro andvariable deputizing every factor determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro. This Researchstarted from date of 23 February 2005 up to 21 March 2005. This Research location selected by purposive inDenpasar town. Analysis used in this research as factor analysis that analysis which can be used to tracesome factor from a number indicator or variable determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro.Result of analysis indicate that the factors determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro thereis 7 factor, that is performance, features, conformance to specification, reliability/durability, serviceability,perceived quality, and esthetics. While variable deputizing every factor determining customer loyalty tobrand of Teh Botol Sosro there is 15 variable, that is product hygiene, as according to food, and productbenefit deputizing performance factor; company brand, feel the product, and size measure product deputizingfeatures factor; security consume and quality of packaging deputizing conformance to specification factor;product perfection to consumer and product resilience to all kinds of weather deputizing reliability/durabilityfactor; amenity obtain the product deputizing service factor; product price and company promotiondeputizing perceived quality factor; aroma of product and product color deputizing esthetics factor.Offer suggestion at company that is company can more selective again in useful life tidiness so thattidiness to consumer always good in a condition. Company also can make the sign of a period to going intoeffect bigger so that customer can know clearly what product which they buy still be competent or not to beconsumed. Company reputation have to be able defended by remain to yield the quality product so that willgenerate belief in society.

Abstract

This policy research focuses on exploring the factors that attract foreign tourists tovisit Bali and to discuss its implications on planning of Bali as a tourism destination. At themoment the tourism development planning is mainly based on the supply side, that is theresources available in the region. However, due to the increase of competition and thedemanding tourists more comprehensive planning base involving the demand side, i.e.expectations of the visitors are becoming of equally important for the success of the tourismplanning itself.A survey was conducted and 505 visitors from the main tourist generating countrieswho visited Bali during peak and low season visit in 2005 participated the survey. Therespondent were randomly selected when they were at the waiting room at the Ngurah RaiAirport before leaving the country. The factor analysis successfully explored 8 factors thatattract foreign visitors to visit Bali, e.i. (1) Reasonable price of tourism products, (2)Cultural attractions, (3) Beach attractions, (4) Convenience traveling, (5) Relaxingenvironment, (6) Image of Bali as a tourist destination, (7) Natural beauty, and (8)Hospitality of local people.Based on the research findings, it is strongly recommended that in developing Balias a world class tourist destination, the tourism planner should consider those factors in theplanning process in order to better serve the more demanding tourists and the increase ofcompetition among tourist destinations.

Abstract

Understanding about determinant factors of poverty will help policy maker to ensurethat the poor get benefit from the economic policy. In general, this study aim toanalyze the changes of determinant factors of poverty before and after theimplementation of fiscal decentralization. Using the model, this study found that incommunity factor there are some variables have change from 1999 to 2002. One ofthese variables is road infrastructure. In 2002 (after fiscal decentralization period),the quality of road was worse than before so the impact is the poverty was increase.This study shows that if both central and local government concern with povertyreduction then they have to notice some sectors such as agriculture, education, familyhealth, and infrastructure. These variables are the determinant factors of poverty.
